I had not had dim sum in years since I moved from Seattle to Kitsap. I just haven't found a restaurant that serves dim sum here. All those years ago, I went to plenty of chinese restaurants, especially in the international district of Seattle. Just happened to be that I was out and about and had an extra hour to wait for a friend to meet me to go to an activity. I ended up in the parking lot facing this restaurant. So I went in to check it out. It's pretty dingy looking on the inside, but the dim sum menu was extensive. So I ended up getting more food than I needed or even wanted. But i'm glad I did. There wasn't any item that I did not like that I ordered. I had eggplant, black bean ribs, pot stickers, fried chicken wings, and a shrimp roll. When I say everything was good, I mean it honestly every single one of those appetizer dishes was delicious.I haven't been back since only because I don't live over there, and I don't travel to that side of the water enough. If I did it would be my favorite choice of places to eat just about every time. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that the place was a bit dingy, the service was slow, and the hallway to the bathroom was covered in deep water and was just dangerous to navigate. Those concerns though did not take away from how well they make their food. Five star dim sum for taste and presentation.

This place had a glow up better than my ex. Nice aesthetic design and only asian people inside so you know they cooking. Gotta keep the tradition of keeping asian places 3-4 stars so we can gatekeep it. No one speaks English which is always a plus. Their xo spare ribs and char siu bao were dank! Other items were pretty standard not good but not bad

If you are looking for authentic and tasty dim sum in Seattle, you should give HK DIM SUM a try!It is a family-friendly Chinese restaurant that offers a variety of delicious dim sum dishes at reasonable prices. The service is homely and cheerful, and the staff welcomes people. The restaurant is located inside Aurora Shopping Center, right next to Asian Food Market, which makes it convenient for shopping and dining. The restaurant has a huge menu with many items already prepared and showcased in the front. You can order individual small plates that are easily shared, or choose from larger dishes like noodles, rice, or soup. Some of the popular items include shrimp dumplings, BBQ pork buns, egg tarts, sticky rice, chicken feet, and siu mai. However, the wait might be a little longer so be prepared or come earlier to avoid the line.

Definitely a hidden gem here in Seattle. Food tasted fresh and very tasty. Probably some of the best fish I've had in a while. I also really loved the panda decor, as it really added a bit of flare to the place. Looking forward to coming back and trying more options.

Got the same dishes we tried last time: the shredded pork with Dried tofu was better this time. Har gow and shu Mai were tasty. Promised in 20 minutes and ready when I finished shopping next door at the Asian supermarket. Able to get a parking spot out front this time. Would go back (I did!)

We came on a Tue for lunch. We ordered a lot of dim sum for two people as we intended to have leftovers for to-go.The dim sum dishes were mostly delicious. The deep fried pork dumplings and pan-fried radish cake were crispy outside. The spicy chilly oil wontons actually came separately from the chili sauce. The XLB skin was more on the thick side. The sticky fried rice was surprisingly good. The only dish that came as lower than expected was the Chinese donut rice rolls - we felt they were not rolled tightly and everything came out loosely. As many of the dessert items I wanted were not available, they gave us the mango pudding at the end for free. The staff was attentive and efficient. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Parking was easy as there was a parking lot.

This is an update of this restaurant since we were in the vicinity. I guess because since it's next door to the Asian market, guest flow continues coming in. Their dim sum is fresh from the kitchen when order is placed. Food quality was good and consistent. We ordered the House Special Noodle. The noodles was cripsy golden brown with just enough gravy and tasted delicious. Service was on point, but in general price is on the high end. They charge for the hot tea and also for a 11.2 oz bottle beer, they charged almost $10, really overpriced indeed. For the convenience, we would come back only if we are in the area, no intentions to make a special trip so far away.

We have been about 5 times now for dim sum on the weekends, and it has been great every time. Never had to wait long for a table and the food is delicious. They have some carts going by but also a menu to order exactly what you want, both dim sum items and other standard menu items, which we have not tried yet. The servers are friendly, attentive and efficient. It seems like they also do a high volume of takeout/delivery.

made the mistake of going there for some soup..horrible service, people there seem to be used to the horrible service, the ambiance was mostly asians looking down on their phones, not much interaction with the waitresses. The soup tasted like hot water, does not come with rice, you have to order that separate. when i told the waitress my soup had no flavor, she said too bad..that';s what you order, you eat and pay..good bie..i refused to eat hot water-but ended up paying for it anyway, in order to avoid a scene ..to me it was the worse place i've been here in seattle, were everyone is pleasant. I am from latin origin, south florida..we have nasy server in south florida, but you don't pay for something you did not eat.
