OMG!What a gem and Beacon Hill!Hiroshi is a humble Japanese restaurant in Beacon Hill. They offer a pretty good variety of Japanese food options, including sushi and Katsu. If you are a fan of katsu, you're in for a treat! You definitely have to try either classic, traditional pork Katsu. There Katsu sauce is delicious, it comes with a good amount of rice, as well as salad. The meat is very juicy and outside is very crunchy. They also serve sushi, including nigiri. I opted for their Seattle roll. It was really good, and the fish tasted really fresh! Only downside, if you're not a big raise hand, they do tend to have a little more rice in their rolls. Please continue to support local and definitely try this place out!

No frills tiny shop selling Japanese food - sushi, katsu, udon, teriyaki, etc.Ordered the Ocean Salad ($6) + California Roll (+$4) and Chicken Katsu Curry ($7) with California Roll ($5). These were the menu item prices but the total came out to be $34 (?)Nevertheless, delicious. The Katsu Curry came in great portions and was perfectly spiced and hearty. The CA Rolls were a little heavy on the rice but were also good. Yummy Crab Salad had real crab and crispy, fresh iceberg lettuce. Called for takeout - it was ready very quickly.

Great for cheap(er) sushi in a pinch! Though by no means groundbreaking, the sushi here is good. The real star of the show is the katsu, though. Two massive pork katsu with delicious sauce, a giant scoop of rice, and side salad for $7? A full meal and a full steal. Service is good. Ambience is negligible, since I do not think they provide a dine-in experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Hidden gem. This was a great place for quick, fresh sushi. I loved seeing the pictures on the wall of the presumed owner with famous athletes. Such a happy man. I got the sushi combo 1 and Washington roll, both were tasty. They also have speciality dishes like garlic shrimp which I didn't order but the picture looked good.

By far the best Japanese curry in all of Seattle. Over chicken or pork katsu, it's delicious with it hearty ground beef and deep curry flavor. No lame vegetable melody of carrots and peas like some other places. Also the various sushi rolls are really good.Be sure to check the fridge, and see if a slice of cake is available. It's worth it for those extra couple hundred calories.

Since we live in the Eastside and rarely visit Seattle, we have not visited Hiroshi's Catering before. Today we had a meeting in Rainier Valley. And after the meeting we stopped by at Hiroshi's. There is no parking lot and it took me a while to find a parking space on the street. It is an unpretentious building shared with an accountant's office. When we entered the building, we were greeted by an middle aged Asian lady. There was no other customer. We looked at a large menu on the wall and found that the prices have gone up from the previous photo on yelp (Oct 2023). I ordered pork katsu ($12), my wife chirashi sushi ($19), my son gyu don ($12). It took about 15 minutes to get our food. There is no dining space in Hiroshi's. So, we drove home and ate the food. We liked the food. They are not great, but not bad either.

Best food for everything (we've been eating the food here and from previous location) for about 20 years and we always love the food here.

Didn't get to try the food. They close at 530pm but have not updated the website, Yelp, or Google to reflect that, so I walked here and arrived at 535pm to a locked door.

Ordered their sushi 50pc platter recently. 20pc in the platter are rolls. Do not recommend for the price ($104 with tax). Fish and rolls quality honestly is what you would expect from a grocery store deli. Haven't have their hot food since CVOID, it was good in the past. Upon walking in, you smell a greasy and stuffy smell. Staff is friendly tho.
