Pizzas were fantastic and freshly made. Ordered the Golden Hill (pepperoni, bacon, hot honey) and the Boulevard (white pizza) to-go. I really enjoyed the flavors and the crust was to die for, so chewy and delicious. The service was fine. I had ordered ahead and had to wait about 10min more when I got there because they were slammed (Saturday night). I'll keep this in mind next time and order with more time in advance. I took it to--go, but the ambiance looked nice if you were to dine there. They had a an outdoor patio seating that looked private (not out in a sidewalk) which seems nice! The pizzas aren't huge but they are sooo flavorful and delicious

This is a very cute pizza place in Hillcrest with a really sweet owner/manager. You order at the counter and then the gentleman brings your order to one of the nice outdoor tables. Cute outside, pup friendly space with a bathroom to boot.We ordered the margherita pizza and the house salad. The salad was fresh and the dressing was homemade and delicious. I could easily have eaten a whole one by myself.The pizza was very good. The crust was crispy and tasty and the sauce was delicious. The cheese was not as plentiful or as salty as i would have liked but overall a yummy experience.

This is my best friend's pizza place in SD. So much so she came here twice within 3 days and the people that work there know her already. My husband got the Golden Hill Pizza and was a fan of the hot honey, which he didn't think he would. I got the HillCrust Pizza and I really liked the egg it added a little more depth to it. It was like breakfast on a pizza. Can't go wrong with that! They have 6 tables outside and a restroom.

I used to love this place but it's gone down hill. I liked it so much I would order it more than once a week. The last two times I ordered I have been disappointed. On this occasion I ordered the gluten free mission hills pizza, which is a bar-b-q chicken pizza. The crust was burnt, they didn't add cilantro ( bbq pizza does not taste right w/out it) and the chicken tasted different the seasoning was overpowering. Sad this places standards have significantly gone down.

Recently left a review on HillCrust Pizza, however it wasn't the best review. Come to find out it was delivery issue gone horribly wrong. Jay s. And Zia the owners responded to my review immediately, I ended up getting my whole refund from DOORDASH! and the owners remade my pies on the house. The response and customer service at HillCrust pizza I can definitely say is top Notch. Will be visiting again soon. Again thank you so much Joey S. And Zia. And yes the pizza is beyond delicious

Little Pizza shop that is locally owned! Loved the Pizza selections. Called to order a Golden Hill and a Mission Hill Pizza. The Golden Hill Pizza has a good sweet and savory flavor to it with the Mike's Hot honey and the pepperoni and bacon. I was very surprised to how good the flavor profile was for the Mission Hill Pizza. It reminded me of the BBQ chicken pizza from CPK but better. The cilantro along with the BBQ sauce, onions and chicken paired so perfectly. You get the sweetness and the heat all in one. For two pizzas, it was $45. Tipped the workers there because they were helpful and friendly. Definitely will come back next time when I visit!!

Great casual dining place for pizza. I prefer this than Bronx of course Bronx is a different style of pizza. Pizza crust has a nice bubbly look. Typically I don't eat the crust edges but I thoroughly enjoyed the crust so I ate it :-) We had the Hillcrest whicb has bacon and egg. It was very delicious. The whole is perfect to share for 2 people. The dining area is outdoor with a roof and heaters.
