Hilberto's Mexican Food

Friendly service, very clean dining room, NO RESTROOM available for customers. HUGE fountain drinks, including jamiaca (sp?) and horchata.

Not sure I want to eat at a place that screens their calls. Called to see if they were opened but couldn't get thru.

Was getting my taxes done in the area, and was hungry on my way out. Stopped by to get a steak and eggs burrito. I didn't get sick nor died. So I guess the food was ok. Had no issues with this place, it did the job.

Do not eat here unless you wanna get sick and possibly die from this molded food ..they served me molded food it was all dry meat and it was green and white inside I just so happen to look at the meat before eating it and thank God I did I picked up the meat and smelled it it smelled so back I almost throw up just smelling it ..I showed the guy and was like why would you give me this poison it was like do you want something else ..no I don't I want you to stop serving this shit your gonna kill someone...do not eat here and if you do check your food first ..

Needed something light to eat and that usually means rolled tacos. This was another random drive thru and a tight squeeze to maneuver. Nothing wrong with these besides the usual of not being crispy enough. The guac was a light green color at this place. Negatives were the diet coke which tasted off and the 90 cent bag of carrots contained carrots that were too hard.

What a joke of a place. Paid $10.45 for a dam breakfast burrito...I will never come here again and it's not that I can't afford to pay $10.45 for a burrito. It's just not worth it. I could understand if it was bigger but it was more tortilla then anything the only reason why I gave it 1 star was because the staff was friendly.

The burritos keep getting smaller and smaller!! $7.65 for a 2 ingredient chorizo & egg burrito that is smaller than my hand?! Never again.

So With #SocialDistancingPhoenix in full effect we tried to determine what was for diner. We went down the same road as always, but I had a Hankering for Mexican Authentic Taco's (No TacoWell) was not an option. So we called our Number 1 Spot - Closed on Monday, and Number 2 was so slammed it was 65 minute car wait. so we went with another place in walking distance Hilberto's. Now I am going to say in the past 10 years, I have come to know them pretty well, and the last 3 years unless the the Black Audi SUV was there. Nothing personal to the rest of the staff, but when she was there, it was always Perfect, Always fresh and delicious. With it being what it is, I gambled and did not see any vehicle sitting in or around the parking lot. All I notice was a sign "We are still Open - Please use Drive Thru".So I did, kept it super simple, 4 Beef Tacos4 Chicken TacosChips with Melted Cheese and Pico de GalloThats It..Got them home and was Scared, and surprised..!!The bag and food was HOT! Cheese was melted on tacos and chips Pico and red and green sauce was Ice Cold..!Needless to say 4 Tacos did not last long. Time to hit the treadmill...My God it was all good, and I am not sure how it was possible.I will say thisI will test them again on a Carne Asada BurritoOther than than.... its treadmill, Taco TuesdayPlace searved some rightious food that you could tell the Oil was fresh,...Clear and no bad or old oil taste.I suggest you hit them up and let them know they are KILLIN IT!!!Sad to say no Photos..........Nothing But Yummy Carnage!!!Review started at a 4 and got to a 5 How does food do that!! Wow

went in today for some menudo on Friday. Good portion great red chili flavor. Will come back again.

$15 for a burrito. Limit you to 3 sauces for each item and have to pay extra for more salsa. Food isn't bad but I'm Never coming here again unless I win the lottery.
