High Spirits Liquor

Walking through this place I was in awe. They have an amazing selection of whiskeys and rums... and probably other stuff, but my focus was on the whiskey and rum. I found a Willett reserve rye and I am so happy I was able to grab it. I have seen this bottles in Instagram, but never in person. I dont buy a lot of expensive whiskey, but I do enjoy having some nice whiskeys in the house. I will have to peek in here from time to time for sure.

One of the best Liquor stops in the area for sure, I am a beer snob, and these folks have lots of great choices to select from. Beer from breweries all over the Northwest, and beyond....many that you will have never heard of, but you should try!Interesting selection in all areas: Wine and Booze especially included. Support Local!

I have thrice ordered from High Spirits Liquor and overall its been a wonderful experience. Good prices, helpful staff, great customer service. They offer a nicely curated list of spirits- specifically the whisky and bourbon selection. You will find a good selection of cask strength, hard to find bottles, and locally available distilleries like 2Bar. A special thank you to Sir Evan R. for emailing me recommendations and quickly resolving any questions I had for the team. I'm in Seattle a couple times a year and I can't wait to check this place out when I'm across the pond in Bainbridge area. A 5-star experience all around!!

what is not to love about this place (besides Washington State taxes on hard liquor). High Spirits is the way a Liquor store should be set up: open with a very wide selection of anything you want. downstairs is a tasting bar - across a foyer is a sandwich shop (that description does not do it justice) and a restaurant upstairs. highly recommend you check it out.

It's unusual for me to "round up" a review to a five. Especially when a business' claim to value is not directly associated with an art or craft. But, I've already mentioned how impressed I am with this cluster of family businesses. So, I feel very good about using this review to call out their commitment to quality and excellent customer service. Currently, this liquor store is right next door to their chocolate shop and restaurant, Chocomo. I've reviewed them elsewhere. They are in the process of building a new facility that will undoubtedly qualify as a "destination" chocolate shop that will rival San Francisco's famous Ghirardelli's Chocolates.So, why five stars for a liquor store? Simple, it's all about the service. Looking for something you don't see? Just ask! Trying to track down a special bottle of scotch before you run out? Just ask. Want some local, grass fed beef for a special dinner? No kidding, just ask. They have a freezer of their Silver Creek Beef with choice cuts of the same family raised beef they serve in the restaurant.These guys go above and beyond. Just the way that Yelpers and other discerning customers like it!

Wonderful liquor store--actually beautiful displays in a gorgeous building... doesn't feel seedy or big box store-y.

Nice selection of the common and the less common stuff. They were out of stock of some of the rarer stuff - but hey, we get it. They can also order stuff in for you. Prices are good, but everything is definitely a notch above your typical liquor store. It's nice and bright, clean, a bit fancy/upscale. It makes you want to take your time to shop, and to come back. Would you look at that, they also do tastings and special events!The staff was eager to help. This place is in the same building as Chocmo chocolatier and a restaurant, so if you have a sweet tooth, why not grab yourself a hot chocolate or some truffles while you are there...

First of all this place is like an adult's candy store if you are into spirits. They had so many bottles that I didn't think were available in the local area that I didn't think it was possible. So if you are looking for something special check them out.Now, the other part of this is your going to pay for it too. WA liquor tax is the highest in nation, but needless to say their bottle prices are on the high side. But that is the case with many other stores too. Buyer beware! I usually do not buy liquor in Washington period, but when it comes trying to find something I have been looking for, then I will start here.

Great selection, excellent service. I called about a particular bottle of wine and they said they were out. I got a call back 5 mins later (thanks to caller ID) and they let me know they just found a couple bottles. Thank you for the extra effort!

I'm an online customer. I found these guys when they had an item in stock that I couldn't find anywhere else (that would ship to WA anyway). Shipping was reasonable, so I put in the order hoping all would arrive ok. My order shipped first thing in the morning, and was here the next day! That was the most incredibly well-packed shipment I've ever received. Ever. And I do most of my shopping online and have been for decades, so that is the highest praise I can give. I will absolutely look here first in the future!
