We came here for the Beetlejuice pop up bar. I love that they change out the themes of this speakeasy. It was a little interesting to find, but we asked around and then were able to locate it. We didn't have to wait too long, about 30 minutes to get in. It's right outside the Makeready L&L, so you can enjoy that bar while you are waiting. Don't try to run off with their themed glassware, or you'll end up with a heft $100 fee. Apparently that happened within the first week of opening. They have a couple snack options, but I didn't see many people ordering anything other than drinks.

One of the coolest speakeasies I have ever been to! Hidden on a different floor than the lobby of the Noelle, this quaint bar transforms you into another experience when you walk through the storage doors. Inside is luxurious and comfortable with hand crafted cocktails. The bartenders service was well cared in them taking time to learn about our taste and give tips to us before ordering.

Hidden Bar is well known amongst Nashville is an ever-evolving themed speak easy where the drinks are always creative and the décor is memory inducing, and this seasons Ralphie's Christmas theme is no different! As a MASSIVE Christmas Story fan, when I first got wind of Ralphie's Christmas, I made it my mission to get in that little green door before Hidden Bar transformed into something else. After a handful of attempts where wait times were pushing 2 hours, we got a 50 minute wait on a recent Thursday night. We checked in, bellied up to the bar at MakeReady and waited until we got to party in the Chop Suey Palace with a few of the Bumpuses dogs! Pretty close to on the noise, our text message came through and we made our way to the check-in table where they stamped our hands for reentry and directed us in. Upon entry you are immediately greeted with the famous "fra-gi-le" leg lamp in the vestibule, and then you turn the corner and the bar opens up for you. The space is tight, so them only letting a certain number of people in is certainly smart for enjoyment, and I am sure, fire safety purposes. Even with monitored entry, many folks have to stand. As mentioned, Christmas Story is my all time favorite holiday movie, so seeing all the things made me unbelievably happy! Red Ryder BB guns, Chop Suey signs, the pink bunny outfit, Santa and his Elves, the Bumpuses dogs and even a couple of tables set up as Ralphie and Randy's beds! It was a cool place to hang out for a few cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, they had 8 themed cocktails including a Triple Dog Dare, Drink Your Ovaltine, Fra-Gee-Lay and of course the You'll Shout Your Eye Out! As you can imagine, I had to try a few and started with the Drink Your Ovaltine. After I finished that off, I went with the You'll Shout Your Eye Out as I wanted something a tad less cream forward. Unfortunately for me, the You'll Shout Your Eye Out was not that, as they added banana cream and banana chips to the cocktail at the end, neither of which were mentioned on the menu. I am a trooper, so I pushed through, but would have been nice to know the entire details of the cocktail. The same goes with the Ho-Ho-Ho, which turned out to be a hot cocktail, again, not listed or shared upon ordering. The cocktails were tasty, just not what was expected. They do have a tiny food menu featuring Crispy Duck Fried Rice, Lo Mein and Egg Rolls, and even a dessert called OHH FUUUUUDGE. We did not partake in the food, but other did look to be enjoying. Service was solid from entry to exit. The check-in staff were friendly and welcoming, and the bartenders inside were energetic, helpful and friendly as well.Overall, cool theme that brought back all the memories for me! I cannot wait for the yearly 24 hour marathon of A Christmas Story in mere weeks!

Coolest speakeasy bar I've ever been to! Awesome decorations and not too hard to find, but still hidden enough.Themed drinks were very creative and tasty, and they even had a few small plates which I wasn't expecting. Very nice bartenders and staff. We also passed the Mad Hatter Tea room which wasn't open at the time, but the decorations were so cool!Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy great craft cocktails and creative themed bars.

Damn. This place is 5 stars for sure. The drinks may be pricey but everything is pricey in Nashville. The vibe and atmosphere in this place is the perfect place to start the evening with smooth cocktail then venture out for a meal then before it's time to say night night you return for a night cap cocktail. Chilling on the red velvet sofas listening to some jams and doing some nice people watching. The bartenders definitely know how to mix the drinks. Highly recommended for the Old Fashioned. Would definitely be back again.

Not a hidden gem. Weekends always busy to get in. Inside small and packed. More like a chill vibe. Sitting and drinking to kill some time type of place. I do like that they change up the decoration theme. Live music dj not so great. Drinks extra charge for liquor taxes.

I'm a sucker for cute pop-ups and themes, so here I was, heading into the Hidden Bar. It's located in the basement of Noelle through a hidden door at the Makeshift L&L restaurant; the front desk server of Makeshift can help direct you if you're easily lost (like I am).You walk through a tiny, wonderland-like hallway to the dark, moody room that is Hidden Bar. It has more of a sultry, hidden oasis feel to it than most of the other bars around town, and it probably has a comfortable capacity around 30-40 people. This is one of those places you'll probably want to come to during off-peak hours to get a better seat and have the time/space to look at the theme it's decorated in. PROS:-Just like our bartender up at Noelle's rooftop the night before had made our night, Brian down here at Hidden Bar made our night. Not only was he super knowledgeable about every cocktail on the menu AND could point us towards some, he was also happy to get creative for us in his downtime. We named a spirit and a flavor profile, and he got to work creating something unique just for us. We ended up staying longer here than we intended to because of it because it was just SUCH a fun experience. Hidden Bar, and Brian's knowledge and fun personality, are going to be some of our more vibrant memories from here in Nashville. -All of the cocktails on the menu are created and themed JUST for their current pop-up theme. The entire menu is redecorated and designed just for the theme. (It was accurate to the online PDF version if you need to see it.)-Most of the cocktails are very approachable. There's some more complex ones, but with their proximity to Broadway, there are quite a few that are leaning more towards boozy fruit punch, so everyone at your table can find something drinkable. -The ambience and pop-up theme here is absolutely amazing. Some SERIOUS work goes into these, and it's really in the details. Flowers are woven through the chandeliers. Colored fringe is stapled onto the bottoms of chairs. The wall includes climbing vines. Everywhere you look, the theme is in-your-face in the best of ways. This isn't one of those crappy themes that turns into a laughable meme online; they really go all-out here.CONS:-Bathrooms are located through an exit door in a bright white hallway. It's right outside the bar's door, but it does make for a jarring "into the bright white light" experience when you have to pee. Bathrooms are clean and really large, though.

Hidden Bar in Nashville offers a unique and immersive experience, complete with themed decor that changes regularly. When we visited, the theme was inspired by the iconic movie "The Shining." The atmosphere was impeccably crafted, with eerie and captivating details that transported us straight into the Overlook Hotel. The cocktails were expertly mixed and matched the theme perfectly, enhancing the overall experience. If you're looking for a distinctive and memorable night out in Nashville, Hidden Bar is a must-visit.
