Hibachi City Buffet

Mean staff especially when it comes to hiring. Was looking to work there perhaps part time in the event that's maybe an option- Alexhibachi was the indeed rep that was looking for candidates . Stated "If you can't work the required hours then why did you waste your time and send an application"Very rude , won't be eating here again or thinking to apply.

Really bad place to eat don't RECOMMEND ! Food was cold ! It's cheap but it's cheap cause it's gross ! Staff was rude !!!!

Same nostalgia as always! I used to come here when I was younger and the food was always a comfortable yummy memory to keep. I've gone two times in the last two or three months and they are always cleaning! They are always wiping down the buffet counters and cleaning tables with plates and cups. The food is always hot and warm when I go, they are always quick to replace the food and have someone come our frequently to see what is almost done and ready to refill. The noodles are such a delicious spicy but sweet and savory. I love the chicken sticks and free ice cream cups and soft drinks. I only ever come to this buffet and not Lin's because I had a bad experience with their cleanliness, but I can see the cleaning in front of my eyes. The staff are always great at their job and quick too. Five stars, love this place and will probably come back soon!

Did the place change owners or something? Lots of these reviews just don't represent what we had. The floors are literally peeling up. (One lady tripped and almost fell because the Flooring is curling up from being wet and not sealed) The place smells like moldy mop water. The food is just, I can't describe it, it's like someone saw pictures of Chinese food but had to shop at a dollar store for the ingredients. The Chinese noodles were basically spaghetti noodles with salt and orange food coloring. Same with the "fried rice" do they not know how to make these Chinese food staples? Basically just orange colored salty rice. Orange?? So crazy. The chicken on a stick was really good though. Same with the Chinese donuts. But so many of the dishes were just terrible. The most egregious offense was the sweet and sour sauce. Why does it taste like ketchup!?!? How do you mess up sweet and sour sauce!? Did they seriously mix the sweet and sour with ketchup to save money or something? So confusing.This place is just sad, run down, and ratchet. We really went to this place with very low expectations and still were horribly disappointed.I hate leaving reviews like this, normally I don't because I know how hard it is to keep a business but something is actually wrong with this place.

Visited for the first time today-- this place is fabulous. A great selection, and everything was so fresh. The restaurant was super clean and we enjoyed wathcing the Olympics on several TVs while we ate. Reasonably priced as well. Regarding the prior reviews, the lady at the cash register wasn't "friendly" exactly (who the hell cares) but she was businesslike and professional.

Food is cold and nasty not the mention some of the reviews here how there is ppl who found roaches at the restaurant, I will not be returning i am so disappointed and disgusted I knew something was off at this place.

Don't bother applying through indeed, the hiring manager is very unprofessional and rude. Why post on indeed that you're hiring and get mad/hostile when you have to interview people. I hung up on them because they were unprofessional, rude, and uncomfortable to talk to. I also saw similar comments about the interviews on this job as well.

My family and I we're sitting trying to enjoy dinner, then realize that there was roaches crawling around on the wall next to us as well as the floor. Guys be aware! HIBACHI CITY BUFFET 35th ave and Southern. Very poor customer service we asked for a refund after seeing the roaches crawling. They refused to give us a refund.

ive noticed they don't treat the staff well which causes for an environment where the worker hates it there but needs the money and doesn't really care about your food, bet they drop something and will put it back

OMG..Stay away don't waste your money there is no good food only a couple of items to choose from this isn't a buffet paid $33.00 for two and we only ate rice went to McDonald's across the street and it was better then here
