Had the Porchetta sandwich and it was quite possibly one of the tastiest things I've ever had. The crispiness of the pork, combined with the tangy slaw, creamy aioli, and chewiness of the bread ... I can't wait until I can go back, which might be sooner than anticipated. It's knocked the Banh Mi from Hitchcock Deli out of my top slot. Hubby had the TBLAT and expressed similar pleasure. Glad we found this place; eating Hammy's so often was getting old, though it's tasty too!The market is cute -- seems like it's competing a bit with the bakery a couple doors down. Wish it wouldn't. Business is tough enough already to have stores offering similar products and watering down the uniqueness of these shops.

Delicious rotisserie chicken + they were good at accommodating dietary restrictions... we tried a couple of their sandwiches menu items made as salads and definitely didn't disappoint. Cute market area with some nice produce and other staples. There granola is delicious as well.

How oh how am I the first person to review this little shop? It contains some magical food in here, even if the prices are a little cost prohibitive on a regular basis. Their bacon is plainly delicious, unlike any other you'll ever taste. Gorgeous, freshly picked produce, like baby kale and chard, green garlic, fresh eggs, and pickled veggies. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in town.

Very cool little space off away from the hustle & bustle of downtown Bainbridge. A bit on the pricy side of things but for once a $15+ sandwich on this island tastes like a $15+ sandwich - the Porchetta definitely deserves its spot at the top of their made-to-order sandwich menu. Everything on it went together perfectly. The tarragon aioli goes crazy, the roast pork is fantastic, I was worried I might be put off by the cider slaw but it's all extremely well-balanced. Worth noting it's not a huge sandwich but still maybe the best I've had on the island - really has a unique and craveable flavor. The pastrami was a bit of a letdown - better than other options on the island but just a little too heavy on the sauerkraut IMO, it was almost unpalatably sour. The pastrami itself was interesting, it seemed a lot like thick-cut beef bacon as opposed to what I would normally expect it to be like texturally - wasn't bad though. The seasoning on the meat and sandwich seemed a little inconsistent, some bites were very salty, some were a little bland. Not terrible but not great. If it was just a restaurant I might rate it a little lower but for what it is I was pretty impressed. I like the fact their sandwich menu is very short and sweet. Lots of cool little artisan food things for sale, they sell Via Rosa noodles and sauce as well as a nice little selection of fancy salts and things. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're a Bainbridge food fan.

Love Heyday Market, although it is a small store everything they have is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the hummus and the pesto, just good luck on find a day when they are not sold out. Also, the granola is delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Really have been enjoying the option to pick up some of the great heyday specialty prepares items to go. The soups are always great and they have an excellent selection of locally raised sustainable meats as well.
