Heuk Hwa Dang

I saw this place on Instagram and went to go check it out. Unfortunately, they had a sign up that they were closing until further notice. (11/30/23) and we made it in on their last hour of their business. The croffles have been out for a week so the only things they had to offer were drinks. The girls were super sweet so I hope they are getting some compensation/benefits since they were literally updated with the store closing just an hour before we got there. The drink I got was yummy and the crystal bubbles were definitely interesting! More like a round jelly and not like tapioca.

Korean corn dog was spectacular gooey goodness. Drinks are alright. Daughter really enjoys drinks. Enjoy Tiger Sugar more myself. Wasn't crowded at all. Service is slow. Excellent variety of drinks as well as snacks.

I went four weeks ago, but I'm updating the review because when I arrived today, it turns out they had closed about four hours early. Between the other reviews and this experience, it seems like they have been struggling with staffing and may not be open when you arrive.

The strawberry banana croffle is amazing. The whipped cream goes so well with the fluffy crispy waffle and the fruit gives a nice ting of sweetness. I thought the sauce was chocolate but I think it is maple syrup - wish it was chocolate!Service is super fast and it was very quiet when we came - nice amt of tables for my friends to sit and enjoy.Blueberry ade is SO GOOD - imagine sprite with some fruity sweetness. 8.5/10

Completely empty on a Sunday evening around 6pm. Party of 4 ordered the pepperoni croffle, strawberry banana croffle, mixed berry croffle, plain croffle, potato sausage corn dog, soy garlic chicken, and an original nougat cracker. The croffles were great but not warm enough - felt like they had been sitting outside for too long. The corn dog and chicken were over-fried - these too felt like they had sat outside for a long time and then reheated. The nougat cracker had a nice green onion flavor but the nougat itself was too hard. Maybe it was because of the off timing or the cold weather, but I expected a little more from this place.

My friend and I got boba here and we loved it! She got the jasmine berry tea with crystal boba and loved it! I got the aurora drink and really like it. Both our drinks were pretty and delicious!The service was great!! The server was kind, patient, and friendly. We had manyyyy questions and the server was helpful in answering them and giving her recommendations. The ambiance was nice! The seats were comfy and the whole place was clean. I'd definitely come back again!

3.5/5Drinks themselves were closer to 4.5/5!!! Though our drinks were both of our 3rd choices because they were out of ALOT. The mango coco jelly was my fave part-flavorful! The plain coco jelly was less coconutty and more sweet. The mango milk with butterfly pea (aurora) was yum! Glad I asked for less sweetness because it wasn't offered straight away.There are maybe too many options, but not a lot of clarity around basics of any of the drinks e.g. sweetness level options, dairy, or caffeine. The staff was SUPER sweet, but did not know much about the menu. One of the staff seemed new as she deflected every question to another member who knew more, but maybe not enough still. Not the safest option if you have allergies. Perhaps having indicators of the basic questions on their menu of the caffeine/sweetness options would help staff from habit try try to know everything about their excess of options? The space itself is nice and open, there's a corner spot with pillow looking things that would be nice in theory but the pads are rock hard and the white paint hasn't been kept up with so it is kinda dirty looking.

Probably, the worst boba place I've ever been to. We were the second people in line and they took over 20 minutes for two drinks and one croffle. The drinks were ok, but I wasn't impressed with the coddle. $10 for a cold waffle with whip cream and fruit. Won't be back. Wasn't worth the wait.

I love boba and croffles so I was really excited to check out HHD! When I first arrived I thought the space was really cute and modern, there is a decent amount of seating inside. I came around 3pm on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. My friend received a thai tea boba when she ordered a taro, but the service was friendly overall.I liked how they had a glass display of their sweet and savory waffles, and my friend and I split the strawberry & banana and red pepper one. I also got a taro boba and these three items came out to ~$24 which I think is pretty expensive considering the size. I wasn't too impressed by the taste of anything, but it was fun to try for the experience.
