Hero's BBQ

This is an authentic Brazilian restaurant. As a Brazilian, I can guarantee it is the best place to have fresh Brazilian food, bakery, fried snacks, drink, and of course the famous Brazilian barbecue! I was so happy when they open this place in 2021. The restaurant has a buffet style but also has of fried food that we usually eat those as meals. They also have fresh French bread every morning, but it usually sells fast. So, if you want to make sure you come here to buy those, you need to get before noon. I also love the fact they offer free coffee when we eat here. There is nothing like a smell of a fresh coffee. The play area for the kids is a plus. I honestly don't know any other place that offers inside play are to entertain kids. The Brazilian barbecue is very very good. You can choose all you can eat for $19.99 without the barbecue or by weight with barbecue for $14.99 (prices in January 2024). I higher recommend this place because it had a higher quality food for the best price you can find around.

Excellent pay-by-the-pound Brazilian buffet. Churrasco selection is great, cooked on point. All the sides are good. No complaints here.

This is a Brazilian buffet with churrasco (meats from a spit) also available. The buffet is bigger at lunch. Everything is by weight. You go through the buffet, they go to the window to get fresh-cut churrasco.After 4, you can get a buffet for a flat rate. Churrasco is always extra.Cleanliness is marginal, especially the kids play area (does it ever get cleaned?). Food is decent, good but not great. Brazilian food can be better than this, but this is okay. Beans are the best.It's nice to have a Brazilian buffet in the area, I just wish it were a little better run and a little higher quality.

The two plates cost like $65. Meats are dry and too chewy. Rice is way too salty. Everything is super greasy, oily, salty, or too sweet. I really don't hope this is the authentic Brazilian food.

I met my friend at Hero's BBQ for lunch and had no idea this place existed. I do like the concept, where you can select your own food, including the meats. But it is pricey and if you're expecting the traditional Brazilian steakhouse offerings, then some items you will not find here. Hero's BBQ is located in the Totem Lake area of Kirkland in an older business strip. I visited on a Friday for lunch and the place was busy. I arrived here first and was unsure of how everything worked until I witnessed others getting a plate and helping themselves to the buffet bar and then walking up to a window at the back of the room where you select from the different rotating meats. Then you pay your bill and seat yourself.It is pricey and the food is weighed. It was about $13 per pound and I kid you not, the plate itself was quite heavy. I would recommend getting this as takeout so you can use that container instead of the plate for weighing. Also, nothing at the buffet bar was marked, indicating what it was. That was unhelpful.I did enjoy the food, especially the different cuts of meat I tried. The staff at the meat window was also accommodating, asking what kind of cook I wanted on my meat and if I wanted more slices or the meat to be sliced thicker, etc. That was nice.However, I must say that compared to going to an AYCE Brazilian steakhouse, then your best bet, depending on how hungry you are, would be to actually go to an AYCE steakhouse versus getting items here. My meal ended up being nearly $20, which is costly for lunch. I'd rather just go big and get all the steakhouse meats and buffet items, plus the famous cheesy bread and polenta that you get at the table. Not a bad place, but for my Brazilian meats and buffet offerings, I'll just stick to an actual steakhouse for that.

Come here for Brazilian style BBQ. The sides are ok (although the pinto beans are some of the best I've ever had), but skip the meat in the buffet line and head to the back where they are slicing up fresh sirloin, garlic beef, roasted chicken... Absolutely delicious and tender. I wish my stomach was bigger. The price is per pound and it's labeled on the glass right when you walk in. TIP: don't put anything in your plate that you don't love. If you don't know what it is, skip it. Nothing is labeled

Worth a visit. Great variety of options to choose from. Staff is friendly and helpful. Establishment is clean and well organized. Recommend if you have folks in your party who like different things, since one can pick and choose from all the options.

I had high expectations for this place but it needs a lot of help. Walked in on a Friday evening and price was $12/lb. The food was all laid out and there is a meat section in the back. For starters, the buffet had little to no options: I didn't see any chicken, lasagna, all the other sides I've seen other people post about. Others already mentioned but there are no signs anywhere telling you what the food is. When we got to the meat section, there was a chalk board with options but half the menu was unavailable. The meat was extremely salty (too picanha) and the sausage was so dry, textured like cardboard with salt. The plantains tasted like they were really unripe (super starchy and grassy). My partner and I got some beans and spaghetti and the food was cold. We also got 2 sodas which made our total go from $27 to $38. There were a ton of workers, but half of the tables had dirty dishes on them. I will not be back, go to Novilhos or Fogo de Chao instead!

The food is delicious. The stew and the meats are wonderfully cooked to perfection. I am honestly looking forward to going back for more. The staff is friendly and helpful.It's a simple eatery and the furniture matches.

This place is new to me and I originally wanted to try the Brazilian steak experience but we were in a hurry so I decided to try their buffet instead. You can do take out which is what I did. The place is quiet and didn't seem like it was busy when I was there. For the take out, you basically grab a box and fill up with food and then they weigh it and you pay. The price is $17.99/lb which I think is a little pricey because the food was nothing special. There was chicken, pork, beans, rice, noodle,etc. they also have a salad bar with the usual stuff you see at other places. They also have a set of rules you have to follow, like you have to be able to close the box easily, you can't have an all meat box, etc.Overall, the food was ok. Some of it was dry, and some were tasty. But nothing extraordinary.I might come back and get the rodizio and maybe that is their forte but for now, solid 3 star for me
