Heroes Pub and Grub

Update. The staff was still good but I'm not sure about the new owners. Their Facebook page, which is now deleted, talked down to individuals providing opinions. I would come back for the food; servers, and bartenders but not sure the staff will be there when the dust settles.

Looks like new owner has spent some money and updated restaurant. And entire new menu. Too bad food is still not good at all, mentioned to server, server told owner. New dude has a real attitude and has no clue how to treat a customer.Sorry seems you wasted a lot of funds on a failing restaurant.

Great ExpeirenceI visited Heroes Pub and Grub for the first time today with my lunch companion. We were both very impressed by the service and food. Heroes Pub and Grub restraunt is dedicated to our local Hero's, (military, first responders and teachers). Hero's Pub and Grub offers a varied selection of domestic beers in addition to a great selection of local & craft brews. On this visit we shared some BBQ wings, Arizona burger, onion rings, and pizza. The BBQ wings were my favorite. The wings were crispy, meaty, and flavorful. My lunch companion really enjoyed the burger, he said it was hot, juicy, and large, enough for two, and the onion rings were so crispy, served pipping hot, a perfect match for the burger. The pizza was also great, crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and the perfect amount of toppings. Friendly staff, tasty food, and good service. Nice place to grab a bite to eat and relax with family and friends.

Was hoping for better, sat down for 10 mins at bar no one even showed up to serve us. Only 5 customers interested whole place. This was 7:30 pm on a Sunday. No more pool tables just darts now. Kind of sterile atmosphere

My friend and I had the best time here for their weekly wednesday trivia night. It's free to play, and you do not have to be over 21 to join. The staff are super friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. The food is tasty and there is a decent selection of options. Whole place is very clean. In the women's bathroom they even had an assortment of hand creams/lotions for use.

I really want to like this place. This was the 3rd time and last time here. 6pm on a Friday and only one waitress, although she tried. The beer was cold but no longer have Big Blue Van :(. The food..ugh. Wings were barely cooked and just top brushed with sauce. Pizza was absolutely terrible. Crust wasn't cooked. Cheese wasn't melted. Sauce was bland. Happy hour prices are just ok. Looks like they remodeled but the acoustics are loud. Won't be back..sorry.

It got the job done just fine, but was nothing special. I got the hang loose burger, which is a teriyaki burger with pineapple. It was good, but I have had better burgers elsewhere for the price. Good beer selection and a nice server. Nice set up of TVs. The high-top tables are weird though...I would only come back if I was in the area.

Remodel looks absolutely amazing! Super open and spacious! Burger was amazing and delicious bloody Mary's!

New ownership removed all soul (and almost all food options) the place had. My wife and I have been about 5 times since new owners took over and each time leave more disappointed than the last. The "veterans" theme is just that. A theme; a marketing gimmick; hollow. . Like a Disney bar or something. But at least now it's all pretty, slick, bright, evenly spaced and all the sports wall "art" is exactly alike (other than color) , framed and proportionately spaced. The new owners removed all reasons to go there for me. Over the 2 years prior, we were averaging a couple visits a week, but now we've returned to Zipps & Oggi's, and will continue to look for another place that doesn't feel dead on the inside.

Terrible service, terrible food, nope and nope. It's too bad, we had hope for the new owners. His attitude speaks for itself.
