Herkimer Coffee

A small coffee shop. Friendly staff and tasty coffee. I prefer the Latte here. Another important thing is they open the air conditioner to a comfortable temperature!

The wait can be long at certain times of day, but it's been a while since I saw such jovial staff that clearly enjoyed being around one another and the customers. It was so refreshing. I loved how clear the menu board is, especially for ground coffee and their gift items (hats, tumblers, to go cups). My London Fog (SF vanilla and almond milk) was perfect. I snagged a great spot by the window, and I'll definitely be in again to try some of their delicious looking pastries.

Mediocre customer service and gross tasting drinks. I don't recommend this location and I won't be back here again.

holy crap. i have never had decaf coffee as good as theirs. the barista was like, "i like our decaf coffee," and that was not a sentence i ever expected to hear, so i was like mmm okayyy, and then i took a sip of a macchiato with the decaf espresso, and i was like..... h...... holy crap..... w.... this is the best coffee i've ever had. this is the best coffee i've ever had, and it's DECAF. i haven't bought coffee in years, and i bought a bag right there. i only ever want this coffee from now on. this coffee is life changing. if you are sleeping on decaf, you have to try this decaf

I stopped by Herkimer Coffee on a whim while walking in the neighborhood. Having flashbacks of the last time I impulse bought a coffee shop with horrible outcomes, I quickly asked Yelp and confirmed I'm probably in a good place. Small coffee shop with a nice vibe. Several art pieces on the wall, all of which were for sale, so it's definitely a bonus to see new artwork if you were a regular.Service was kinda really meh. The 2 baristas were actively engaged in their own conversation so I had to wait for any sort of acknowledgement BUT they were working while chatting so at the end of the day it's all good. Once I was acknowledged she was very friendly and the coffee was really good.

I stopped by here earlier today and had a great experience! The man who served me was so kind and genuine. The prices were very reasonable and service was quick. They also had gluten free baked goods, which isn't always easy to find. Absolutely incredible!

The shop was crowded and difficult to move around in, not overwhelmingly friendly staff but friendly. It was difficult to get to the bin to bus our dishes because of the location. But the coffee is great and the small bakery selection was delicious.

I ordered two vanilla lattes- an oat-milk one for my friend and a regular milk for myself. They maintain and clean their equipment really well since I'm severely allergic to oat-milk and I had no reaction. The latte itself was better than I expected and made this place one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle so far. I prefer more espresso to milk in my lattes so that I can actually taste my coffee; although the more espresso part was not there, the coffee notes were discernible (which was a great surprise!). I could also taste the vanilla separately from the coffee notes too which is rare for most lattes. My only downside was that my coffee wasn't piping hot, but that won't stop me from coming back in the future!Summary: good drinks and vibes, but if you love coffee then this is esp your place :)
