WXYZ bar

The ambiance is contemporary & fun, service is attentive, and the food is terrific. This is a wonderful hotel bar..

Really well done bar food. The menu is pretty large and I would say the food is above normal bar food but just below a fancy gastro pub. I've basically been living at this aloft hotel for the last couple of months so I've eaten here a lot. I haven't had anything that I would say was bad. Most of it's pretty good. Nothing is mind blowing. Pizza, burgers, wings, and all kinds of other sandwiches salads, etc. I don't think you're going to go here if you're not at the hotel. But it's a very good option if you are.

WXYZ Lounges are part of ALoft hotels, or at least I've seen them at the last two I have stayed at. On a recent stay I've gotten food (there kitchen closes at 11pm on weeknights) and drinks. As I've heard this ALoft is a very new hotel, and it shows (in a good way!).They have a nice ambiance and between their furniture and the rest of the ALoft lobby, there is a pool table, there are board games and TVs, there's also an outdoor patio to take drinks.I've tried their food once, their burgers were pretty good.For drinks, I tried one of their seasonal Smoked Old Fashioned's (made with Buffalo Trace) which was pretty good and a good price ($13), as well as their frozen drinks (pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris, $15 each). Two different bartenders worked my drinks this trip and they both did a good job. I've enjoyed hanging out in Vegas off-strip and Henderson, I still have a fun time, I've gotten good food and drinks that weren't so pricy. Very good experience from a hotel bar that didn't break the bank.

First time to stay at the Aloft Henderson, and it was also my first time @ a WXYZ bar. Great customer service and great food. Candice holds it down at the bar with ease and good conversation with everyone. A place to hang out while at this Aloft or even in Henderson. I would recommend this place.
