I was extremely thirsty one day while waiting for my daughter to come out of Mathnasium. I noticed it was no longer the donut place so I decided to check it out in hopes they had lemonade. I decided to try the watermelon flavored water and I loved it ALOT! After my child was done with her tutoring, I brought her in to pick out a cookie. I did think that the cookie was better than Crumbl cookie. She also got a cake pop which in my opinion was just OK. I also think that five dollars for a cake pop is a little too much. Overall, I would come back. It's extremely clean and then please are very nice.

When I saw that Twisted Sugar on Valle Verde rebranded I knew I had to try it out. I thought it was okay. I'd stop in if I was in the parking lot, but I wouldn't go out of my way. They just opened this week so the overhead sign isn't up yet, but they are there. Find them in the Smith's lot at Valle Verde and 215 close to Daddy Donut. Here's what I liked. *They have great hours. They are open until 7:00 so people with jobs could actually make it. *The employees were welcoming and friendly.*The store is clean with cute photo spots.*A nice selection of goodies including cake pops, cake slices, cookies, sodas, macarons, and creme brûlée. I didn't LOVE anything I purchased. It was simply okay. The French macaron was the best item and did have a great texture and taste. The chocolate chip cookie wasn't as fresh as I remembered from the last concept. I was most bummed about that. The Coconut Lime Cake Slice was about two servings and tasted okay. The cake pops (lemon and a chocolate coated one) weren't the worst I've had, but I wouldn't order them again. I wish I could be more excited and I tried a variety of items.I get that we're in hard times and everything has increased in cost, but the prices on some items are going to be tough. Cake pops were $5 and the cake slice was $12. If they had been phenomenal okay, but they were not great. Maybe this is where we are in the economy and that's what it costs, but I can't see the average person paying that regularly. I did an Instagram poll on this and 83% said $12 for the pictured cake slice was too much. I do wish them the best and hope they can find some recipes that are winners!

Wowza Bakery just opened recently, and wowza! They have so many delicious treats such as macarons, cake pops, and cookies! This new bakery is a rebrand of Twisted Sugar but under a new name, so it seems. They do not have any outside signage installed yet, with the exception of a large banner hanging up right in front of the entrance, which is a little weird. For those who have difficulty finding it, they can be found right across from Makers & Finders in the Smith's parking lot, between Mathnasium and The Stretch Zone. They have a wide selection of cookie and drink flavors, but you'll have to ask the cashier for their macaron flavors. I ordered a box of four with the following cookie selections - (2) Wowza Chippy (one by itself and one with a scoop of vanilla ice cream), (1) Monster Oreo, and (1) Crinkle. I also ordered a small citrus cream soda with Diet Mountain Dew. Apparently the cashier was still learning all the drink flavors because he couldn't figure out what kind of soda he was supposed to use, which does make sense because they opened like three weeks ago. When my cookies were ready, he gave me two separate boxes - one for three cookies and one for the cookie with ice cream. The Wowza Chippy was similar to another cookie I had when they were still Twisted Sugar. It was super doughy and had lots of chocolate chip chunks inside. The Crinkle was pretty much the same as the Wowza Chippy, but less doughy. The Monster Oreo tasted exactly like what you find from a real Oreo cookie. The drink was tasty as well and not too sweet. Some of their other items are crazy expensive, however. For example, a box of 12 cake pops costs $50 and their three-tier whole cakes cost $125. Unless you're buying these for someone's birthday or for some other special occasion, these items at these prices are not worth it.

Stumbled upon this spot while walking around after dinner looking for something sweet to eat. They have flavored sodas, cakes, cake pops, macarons, cookies, and crème brûlée! They just opened on Monday, April 22 so there's no marquee signage on the building yet...We tried an Oreo macaron, and a few cookies, as well as a flavored soda. I was super excited because they have an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie! I have such a hard time finding a good one out here. The staff was friendly and quick with our order. Inside is clean and cute with photo op walls and some counter seating.

Last minute Mother's Day gift...I was being lazy. Nonetheless, Wowza saved the day for me! Flavors that I have never come across before, like the Banana Pie Cookie, I had to put that in the box. I did the 4BOX, banana pie, salted caramel, and lemon (this lemon cookie was different from the lemon cookie listed on the menu). It was like lemon cream like, my badd y'all, I should've taken a pic. And of course, I had to add the classic chocolate chip, making my gift box of 4. The price was very very reasonable, and the customer service was so awesome.I like these cookies a lot. They are not as thick and cakey like that "other cookie place", it's not as dense. These edges were crispy and the inside soft. OMGGGGGG, the banana pie cookie....yoooooo! If you love bananas like I do, you are going to like this so much. The frosting is creamy and light at the same time. The whipped cream on tops off the cookies. It tastes like a slice of banana cream pie. If you find yourself on this side of town, go check them out.

This used to be twisted sugar and they decided they wanted to change and add more is what I was told today. I got a box of 6 and was so disappointed. I used to come and get chocolate crinkle cookies and it was amazing before they changed and now it's crunchy and disgusting. The other flavor they kept is banana cream pie and that was was the best one of the 6. The Reese's was disgusting. I also got the monster Oreo and Andes mint as well and those weren't my favorite but still edible. The chocolate crinkle was so bad I don't think I will be back.

Really expensive for meh quality. We tried a slice of the cake and a few macarons and felt like this is a one and done for sure. Too many places like this popping up/rebranding, that at best, command a price that's half what they are charging (based on quality.)
