What a treat! Coming from SoCal, I felt like Wing Lei serves authentic flavors. It's pricey and it's good. A friend invited us to their $130 Lunar New Years brunch special and everything was great. There is a buffet set up with beautiful appetizers and hot dishes. A cart that comes around with dim sum. Finally, a gorgeous dessert section. Service is extremely attentive and patient. If you have food allergies, they will keep you well informed. I wish I took more photos because it looked like a fairytale. Love what this place does. Only wished they had salted duck egg lava buns.

"I have never felt so robbed in my life" - My wife reminiscing about this meal 30 mins after finishing the tasting menu. She's very salty, ironic because there was no salt on the short rib (I had to ask for salt to make it edible). If you must go here, get the peiking duck. Do not get the tasting menu. I thought it was a nice touch that they asked me if I had a schedule to keep for a show time. But I didn't realize that was license to wait 20 minutes between each course.Hands down, worst Michelin star restaurant I've ever had. I would take away their star if I was a reviewer.

Las Vegas is known for extravagant rooms and hotels. Walking in to Wing Lei is like walking into another dimension. Every detail is made to match the chinese culture from the servers outfits to the color coordinated dining set and dining room. The dining room is so mesmerizing that you forget that you are in Las Vegas. I was comfortable and ready to feast! | F O O D |Garden Dim Sum 8/10 love the color and each one so unique Crispy Wagyu Beef Roll 7/10 simple yet deliciousPot stickers 6/10 Crispy Shrimp Toast 8/10 rich and crispy, perfection!Sliced Beef Shank with Pork Ear 4/10 wanted to try, not for me Mains:Peking duck 8/10 served tableside and was delicious Garlic Beef 6/10 tender just lacking flavor Fried Prawns 5/10 I don't like prawns, but glad I tried Dessert:Cherry 8/10 replicated an exact cherry which was beautiful Mango 7/10 again beautiful just preferred the cherry one (Free) Dessert Sampler Cocktail:Seven Sages 9/10 - the sichuan gold dust added this amazing lingering spice on the tongue Jade Emperor 7/10- not too much matcha just a hint which I liked | O V E R A L L | I am not a huge fan of chinese food in the first place, but I thought this experience was amazing. They even gave us another free dessert to take home giving us a total of 3 courses free for the evening. I don't know if that is always the case, but just for future. That seven sages cocktail is probably one of the best cocktails I have ever had! I just wish we got another peking duck, 8/10

Overview: Simply the best Chinese restaurant in the United States. It brought back memories of the best food from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Beijing.Food: Fantastic food. The Peking duck was superb, the best since a friend took me to a swank restaurant in Beijing for Peking duck. The dumplings were simply perfect and the plating with adorable bamboo dumpling carries took it to the next level. Our group of 6 feasted and shared dishes, and everything was great. We didn't order dessert, but our server provided a beautiful tray with six unique sweets to conclude our meal. The treat was beautiful and tasty. Also, we were all given a small pomegranate cake to go. What a charming touch! It was very good and not overly sweet. Drinks: Good cocktails Service: Perfect and attentiveAmbiance: Classy, unique, reminiscent of Ming Dynasty meets European royalty Overall cleanliness: excellentBathroom cleanliness: excellentOverall value: Based on the quality and the reasonable prices, Wing Lei is an excellent value. Misc: Reservations are required, and I recommend booking at least two months in advance. We had difficulty getting a preferred time three months in advance. Next year, we plan on eating more than one meal at Wing Lei!

Ambience: this is only Chinese restaurant with Michelin star. This is located within the Wynn hotel and it is so worth it to make a reservation and come here. The restaurant is small, so make reservations quickly because they fill up quick! The interior is absolutely gorgeous, classy, and service matches. They are very attentive and top of things.Food: We were a table of six and they made sure that everyone person at the table got a dumpling. All the food is exquisite to look at. This is the best Chinese food that I have eaten that takes me back to eating in the top restaurants in China. The Peking duck was delicious that I wished we had ordered two! The fried rice was very good. The green beans were crunchy and flavorful. The beef was just okay but very tender. The noodles were good but the star was the Peking duck. The dessert: We were all too full to think of dessert, but Wing Lei provided tiny gorgeous unique little desserts and then gave us to go pomegranate cakes with chocolate discs.

This place is known for being the first Chinese restaurant in the US to earn a Michelin star, so when I came here for my birthday I had Michelin-level expectations. The cocktail program, service, ambiance and appetizers certainly lived up to that expectation, but the entrees (the stars of the show) severely underdelivered. I've never experienced such a sharp decline in quality between the appetizer and entree rounds. Let's start with the good though. The restaurant is very nice inside and delicate. The plates and silverware on the table when you sit down is very elegant. The service was very respectful and nice. The first thing we tasted was the green cocktail you see in the picture (forgot what it was called), and it was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. The flavor of it was unlike any other I've had in a cocktail. The pink watermelon cocktail was also very good. And speaking of watermelon, we were treated with an upscale-tasting watermelon palate cleanser shortly after which was cool. The appetizers were the best part of the meal, and I assume the reason why they won the Michelin. The Alaskan King Crab Salad had exceptional flavor profiles, with a mango base and crab among other things on it, it was a very tasty dish. The wagyu in the Crispy Wagyu Beef Roll you could actually taste and it was delightful. The Seafood Hot & Sour Soup was in the top 5 of best I've had, the ratio of seafood to broth to other ingredients was perfect, along with the spice level. But then the entrees came, and that's when things went downhill. When we ordered the Peppercorn Chili Prawns, the server warned us that it was spicy which we were okay with because we like spicy food. But when it came, it was literally just three pieces of shrimp floating in an insane amount of dried chili. Just because I like things spicy doesn't mean I want to eat a literal fork-full of dried chilis. I am not sure what they were thinking there. The most expensive item we ordered was the Sichuan Beef Short Ribs, which lacked pretty much any flavor and tasted like they were mostly fat. And I know that noodles are supposed to be just a side, but the Cantonese Chow Mein was your most basic tasting, bland chow mein you can think of. We ended up getting like four deserts, because we ordered the Morello Cherry Delight (the giant candy cherry desert, which definitely looks better than it tastes) but they also brought a complimentary birthday desert with a candle (which is always nice), a complimentary Chef's Desert Selection and a complimentary bag of two "breakfast" cakes to go. Jeez! We sort of wanted to get out of there after the disappointment with the entrees, but ended up getting held hostage (sarcastically, of course) with a seemingly never ending desert course. While I appreciate it, I found that to be kind of inappropriate, especially considering that the service was getting slower and slower.I feel like I'm being harsh with this three star rating, but for a $500 dinner with a Michelin Star billing, you just can't stop being good at the appetizers, it needs to be a complete meal. Perhaps if you go with the Chef's Tasting Menu, you'll get that Michelin experience. That's worth a shot at least, because you're not missing out on the entree menu.

Had a very pleasant dinner at Wing Lei recently. Had a friend visiting and he had raved about Wing Lei's Imperial Duck so we decided to have dinner here. Although the duck was main focus of our dinner, our friend suggested we do the tasting menu, to make decision making a lot easier for everyone. We had Chef Ming's Summer Special and it was quite a treat! We did not do the wine pairing but if I get the chance next time, I'm definitely doing that. The tasting menu started with a simple tea and a yuzu-watermelon appetizer. The first whimsy course was the king crab and caviar, and some of you may know, I am a HUGE sucker for caviar...It came with edible flowers as garnish and I personally thought the edible flowers added to the flavor profile. I was smitten by the truffle soup dumpling. Two in a row, they served the two guilty pleasures of mine: caviar and truffle. (Call me basic, I don't care) The broth had a deep flavor without being heavy or oily.I'm going to skip a couple course, the Imperial Pecking Duck; served table-side. It was the copestone of the meal, although there were a couple more courses after... They gave two different options for the wrap: the thin wrap and a bao wrap. I didn't think I would like the bao wrap but I think it was one of my favorite! Such a simple combination but a burst of flavors in your mouth. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The unlikely colors of green and gold actually fuse well and create a very luxurious ambiance and of course the service was impeccable. We all ordered cocktails and in my opinion this is one of the restaurants that have a great cocktail option. Some restaurants on the strip can be lacking on their cocktail menu but all the cocktails at Wing Lei were delicious! Reservation are recommended!

Came here with good friends and with high expectations. Definitely met the expectations that I had. Ordered the famous Peking duck. In addition had the truffle eggs and 3 cups bass. Overall quality of food was very delicious. Duck was nicely flavored and seasoned. Wish more skin pieces vs skin with meat attached. Definitely appreciate the choices of wraps for the duck as well. From crepe to bun, both nicely matched the duck flavor. Truffle egg was exceptional. Love the umami flavor. Bass was also nicely cooked and sauced Service was fantastic. Cocktails were the cherries on top of the evening. Overall highly recommend this elevated Chinese food experience. Definitely pricey. But worth the trip if you are in the area

Food: Marinated Jelly fishAlaskan king crab saladStir-fry vegetables Garlic beefThree cups sea bassPeking duckEverything was delicious but the Peking duck was exceptional. It was served with both a thin crepe or thin steamed bun, green onion cucumber and plum sauce. It was very tender and they show you the whole duck and then expertly slice it on front of you and prepare it for you. Service: very attentive. Our water glassses were constantly filled. I love how they provide a little seat for your purse. They also provided two amuse bouche and a complimentary petite fours and calamansi dessert for the birthday boy. They also give everyone a small cake to take home but it was quite dry and we threw that out. Ambiance: beautifully decorated in hues of gold and green.
