*************GEM***********ALERT*********************************Wild Fig BBQ is a hidden gem. They are located in Summerlin in the Sun City area. They are mostly a take out place because there isn't any seating inside and only 5 picnic tables outside. OMG - GET THE PASTRAMI SANDWICH AS IT MIGHT BE THE BEST IN NEVADAThe pastrami sandwich is out of this world and is PHENOMENAL (You'll be going YES, Yes, YES all the way home if you get the pastrami sandwich)Nothing was bad....but our next favorites were the Pulled Pork, and the Turkey....The Turkey was super delicious with that Chipotle Orange BBQ Sauce.We enjoyed the macaroni and cheese and even the Brussels sprouts. Portions are very generous and we have lots of extras for a few lunches.Someone (maybe the owner? checked on us) I was just in shock at the time and couldn't say much. But will be back to try more and get another pastrami sandwich for sure.WORTH A TRIP ACROSS TOWN TO GET THE PASTRAMI SANDWICH

The best bbq I've gotten recently and will be my go-to premium bbq joint for the foreseeable future.The brisket and ribs were excellent, but I will make sure to ask for "center cut" with the ribs going forward. Both had great flavor and didn't need bbq sauce. The surprise hit for my meal was the pastrami. Besides one pastrami sandwich from Katz Deli years ago, I never eat pastrami. The meat was even more juicy and tender than the brisket. It's my new standard to what pastrami should/can taste like. The sides were all outstanding accompaniments to the meats. My favorite vegetables are eggplants, and the eggplant side dish here was delicious. I tend to not like brussels sprouts with a sweet glaze, but the ones done here weren't crazy sweet and it remained a enjoyable savory side dish.While not really a complaint, I wish this establishment had dining service. Everything was cooked to perfection, but I would love to taste everything soon after it was prepared, instead of having to drive it all back home.I have no complaints with the food here, and was legitimately thinking about how good everything was after I got done eating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys quality bbq.

This place was incredible! First of all...cantaloupe juice? Amazing and refreshing!! The bbq was divine and this food was made with love. It reminded me of summers at my grandmothers table. The greens nearly brought a tear to my eye. The brisket was tender and juicy. I had the orange chipotle bbq sauce and it was perfection. The slaw was just sweet enough to carry the unctuousness of the smoked meats. The service was fast and friendly and the cantaloupe juice is such a nice touch.

I ordered the two meat plate with ribs and burnt ends, accompanied by mac & cheese, potato salad, and baked beans, and to drink, I had cantaloupe juice. The ribs tasted very good but were a little fatty and the portion size was not quite enough for a two meat plate. The burnt ends were tasty but tougher than what I've had before. The potato salad was delicious, and the mac & cheese was good, though the cheeto dust on top wasn't necessary. The baked beans were decent, filled with plenty of meat, and had a smoky taste, but they lacked depth of flavor.Lastly, the cantaloupe juice was heavenly, first I don't like cantaloupe but the juice was something different, it was light, refreshing and not sweet at all very delightful.

My friend told me over a year ago that they love this place, the burnt ends, in particular. We finally made it there today to try it out. I'm kicking myself for not getting here sooner! Man, this place was great! It's kind of hidden & we didn't know what we were looking for, but as we turned the corner, we were suddenly were hit with some amazing aromas & we spotted the smoker. We knew we'd found our spot! It's just a little hole in the wall take out place (which I didn't know beforehand). There are several nice picnic tables outside to enjoy your food there, if you like. I'm glad the weather was decent today 'cuz we live near Sunrise Mountain & I don't know if we would have made it home smelling that food!When we walked in we were greeted enthusiastically by a couple of people & offered a cup of cantaloupe juice -- delicious! We took a few minutes to narrow down our choices. My husband & I finally decided to share a 3 meat/2 side combo. I had wanted the tri tip, but a customer went out of his way to recommend the brisket sandwich, so we got brisket instead. We also got pork ribs & pastrami as part of our combo, then added a sausage, too. We went with chili mac & collards for sides. I'm not a corn bread fan, but theirs, with green chile & cheese added was really good. There was nothing on that plate I wouldn't order again. The server brought as a mason jar of cantaloupe juice for refills along with our meal. When, I believe it was the owner, asked how we were liking it, we told him it was great & that I'd forgotten my friend said I needed to try the burnt ends, he ran inside & brought us out a sample.We didn't come close to finishing our meal, but decided to order a 2 meat/2 side combo to go. We haven't tried that yet. We got turkey, burnt ends, potato salad & coleslaw to take home. We also got a couple of yummy cookies!

I like to call myself a BBQ aficionado and will drive great distances to try the best. And when traveling the U.S., you better believe I want to try the most sought after locals joint. There's nothing like legit regional BBQ. Wild Fig is a place that has crossed my social media feed a time of two in the last few months, and when I realized it was around the corner from my house, I knew I had to try it! The customer service is outstanding--greeted with smiles, hello's and a cup of cantaloupe juice! We each opted for the three meat condo with two sides--obviously we wanted to try everything!!! The tastiest part of the meal for me was the pastrami, pulled pork and sausage/links. Side wise, the collards are fire and my fella couldn't stop talking about the meaty beans! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has driven by and questioned whether to go or not. Downside for January, the only seating is outside, so bear that in mind for a cold, windy day like today!No doubt I will be back because I am eyeballing the pastrami sandwich!!!

Finally made it here and I was excited to try some BBQ. This place is Small but mighty, I would suggest looking at the menu before arriving . Service was quick and friendly with some outdoor seating . Now the star of the show is the food!! We got the 3 meat and 2 sides option. Pastrami, sausage and TriTip with fries and corn salad. Also came with cheddar biscuits and pickles. By far the best bbq I have had in a long time .
