Whitney Ranch Recreational Center

The indoor pool is the bomb! Only problem? It's always so busy with schools and scuba and swim teams etc. I still find a way to get my swim time on but it can be difficult. The guards are nice and always watchful. It's a safe place.

I was checking out recreation center by my place to get information and front desk clerks were very resourceful. Now I know where to go for outdoor slide on summer time. :)

Seems like a nice and great rec center. Spacious area. Right next to a community pool and BMX bike park.

Great rec center for kids and adults alike!My kids love to take classes here---especially the swimming and basketball program. Always clean and well staffed.

My kids take swimming lessons here. We've done them at Heritage Aquatic also through the city of Henderson, and we prefer this location. It's not as open or easy to see but the instructors are better here.

We've been members of Whitney ranch rec for years now. We feel like at home everyone seems to love their job here service is always great we love all the instructors all the way from piano classes to swimming lessons!

I mainly go here for the grassy park and picnic area in the back below the Mesa. The dogs just love the grass and the afternoon shade.

Solid rec center, mostly just go for the tennis courts- they're spacious, have plenty of nearby seating, have a shaded bench between courts, plenty of picnic tables surrounding, lights for evening games, and there are several of them.Parking has never been an issue, and I appreciat that despite the nearby pool and schools there aren't a ton of kids running around. Everything is also very well maintained, which is noteworthy.

I have been coming here for several years to go to the Tap and Jazz adult class with Lori Day. She is FANTASTIC!!! She really knows her stuff but she doesn't make her pupils feel incapable. She has been doing this for a long time, so she knows just how to instruct her pupils. I also sometimes go to the Monday/Wednesday/Friday exercise classes- also taught by Lori Day. She has a really great group (mostly of women, but the occasional man signs up for a session and he is always made to feel welcome). The women are friendly and well-informed and it almost feels more like a club than a class. The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They have an activity card that you can earn stamps and redeem for things.They have both outdoor and indoor pools so that you can keep swimming all year. The outdoor pool is a normal public pool complete with fun things for the little ones and slides.They have an adjacent dirt area with a track where people ride their bikes, but I haven't been there so I can't say more than that for it.
