Whip X

Whip X- Carrot & Daikon is hands down one of the best spots in Las Vegas to enjoy, weather coming into town or leaving town. I always love to pick up BanhMi and some delicious specialty coffee drinks to go! From the moment you walk in, the cozy and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The drinks are a work of art--perfectly crafted with bold flavors you won't find anywhere else. As for the food, the modern Vietnamese dishes are absolutely mouthwatering. Every bite is packed with freshness and creativity, and you can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients. Whether you're in the mood to relax with a cup of coffee or savor a delicious meal, this place has it all. It's the perfect combination of good food, great drinks, and a warm, friendly vibe. If you're looking for something special, I can't recommend Whip X-Carrot & Daikon enough!

I have very mixed feelings about Whip. It's nestled away in Chinatown on spring mountain and it's near one of our favorite restaurants in town. My introduction was when my partner brought me a Vietnamese coffee with a banana cream top on it. And this is where whip really shines. Their Vietnamese coffee and flavors are so darn good. The flavors are excellent, the coffee is decadent, and even the sandwiches are hearty! The cafe itself is forgettable. The chairs aren't very comfortable and there's really not much of an environment to speak about. The one day we were there, this isn't their fault but it stank. It smelled absolutely terrible. I felt bad for the employees. But that said, there's nothing to really consider as far as the interior. But let's talk about the unfortunate side of the business, the service. Or the complete lack thereof. I have yet to meet anyone there who actually seems to know anything about customer service. There is no warmth, no personality, nothing. In fact, the last time we were there was a tall gentleman who was having a full conversation with the customer in front of us in line. They were going on and on and when we walked up and stood behind them, they ended the conversation and he just stared at us. No greeting whatsoever. We made a point of even saying thank you on the way out and he responded not even looking at us.I worry for this business because it has a fantastic product. But I don't know the longevity it has with an uncaring staff and a forgettable overall experience in the cafe.

I've had one of the OG Carrot & Daikon spots in OC, and I do have to compare it with that. They have the best crispy pork belly banh mi, but the one here in LV was not as good. I feel like they put less meat so the bread-to-meat ratio is not what I remember from back home.However, the drinks are still pretty good! I love a Vietnamese egg coffee, and Whip X does a good job on it as well as other beverages like ube Vietnamese cream coffee, which had a nice balance between bitter and sweet flavors. If I'm specifically craving that banh mi or one of their creative drinks, I'd be back for sure!

My stable when I'm in Vegas China town. Refreshing drinks selections. Must try. You can find coffee, sugarcane, coconut water and banh mi here. Their aioli is very good with plain bread for breakfast.

Whip X - Carrot Daikon is a great place to get banh mi's. Items tried and liked (so far): Vegetarian Banh Mi - overall nice curry flavor. Grilled Chicken Banh MiCrispy Pork Belly Banh MiSugar Cane Kumquat Foam Employees are nice. Prices are reasonable. Interior is clean. Parking can be difficult depending on the time of day. Highly recommended. I hope you decide to check them out :)

My favorite vietnames coffee place in town .Creme Brulee is my go to and now they have it in a large size Now if you they can just add brown sugar boba ,i would move in . Yes i am obsessed! Run ,don't walk here ...

Okayyy, I was really excited to give this place a try because their drink selection looked amazing AND the Bahn Mi menu looked right up my alley.I ordered the following:- #6 Fried Egg Bahn Mi 4/5It was amazing with perfectly cooked runny eggs, seasoned well. I did ask for fish sauce but they didn't have any.- Sugar Cane Juice w/out Kumquat foam 2.5/5I've tried some great places here in Vegas.. This one doesn't quite compare..- Banana Brûlée Latte 5/5I really enjoyed this one!! Very foamy and the coffee doesn't completely overpower the banana flavor so you're still able to taste both!- Truffle Fries (not pictured) 0/5I definitely don't recommend.. they're regular fries tossed in a black seasoning with zero flavor. They're $7, for that price I thought I was getting legit truffle fries. The texture is as if they were heated by oven so kinda stale crispy? It is a large portion! They just have to improve the execution of them. :)Overall, I'd still come back here for a Bahn Mi and to try a different drink!!

We are from OC so not new to Carrot and Daikon. Stopped by with my husband before heading back to Cali to grab some banh mis for the road. It was still quite early in the morning so not sure what was going on but they took forever to get us our 2 sandwiches. Banh mis were still good but def could improve on the service and speediness.

OBSESSED !!!! i absolutely love the coffees here and teas are phenomenal ! you will not be disappointed.... The Banana Creme Brûlée is my favorite , I highly recommend it! Also, their lemongrass beef sandwiches and crab egg rolls are mouth watering . The prices are great and the staff is so friendly and welcoming!!

the coffee was velvety smooth and the ube flavor was delicious. the bread itself has a nice and soft texture. the service is fast and the music constantly on is a nice touch !
