They claimes this was a Prime Ribeye steak. Clearly is isn't even a ribeye. Ripped Off. Beware of scam.

Warning: same company under the guise Metro Beef and Seafood. I imagine they changed their name based on the terrible reviews from customers. I'd recommend the owner educate investigate how his operations are being handled. This could be a good company but unfortunately his employees and salesmen are digging its grave.

Do not buy anything from these shady people. They scammed my wife into buying disgusting low quality rubbery meat they claimed was prime ribeye steaks. Looks like a cut from a chuck roast or cheaper cut, no flavor and extremely tough. Phone number goes to voicemail, never responded. Reported to BBB. Same story as others mentioned about dropping off for a neighbor. If I was home, definitely never would have fell for it.

Great deals absolutely! We couldn't do it right now, even with the great deal unfortunately. (Baby on the way) but we were happy with paying full price even later. We asked for a card and the guy told us "if you aren't buying now, you're not ever." And won't give us a card. After we ultimately said no but we appreciate them stopping by, I guess the guy selling didn't realize we could hear him as he grumbled away. Calling my husband a "son of a BITCH" when you were quite literally still in our driveway absolutely made sure we WERENT going to later buy.

RIP OFF!!!Lord only knows what they are selling... I doubt it's real beef. The salesman said he was selling me 15 pounds of prime beef.I weighed it later and it was twelve pounds. For that amount the price charged was excessive. Ultimately the price I'd negotiated was by the pound, and I never received that amount. The cuts of meat were irregular and weird looking (ie, in one box labeled "prime Cuts" there were big pieces and small pieces, like they were left overs from a bad butcher. The salesman NEVER kept that box open long enough for me to see the mess. After he lest and I unboxed and weighed it. I knew I'd just been BADLY SCAMMED.Now I'm afraid to eat it. How badly scammed was I? Is it dog meat, or horse meat??? Heaven only knows what got butchered and put in those boxes. The guy started out lying saying someone didn't want the meat they ordered, so he could give me a deal. If he's going to start with a lie, you gotta know all the rest is a lie too. I wasn't sure at first. After I unpacked the boxes I knew I'd been scammed badly though.

They stopped by our house yesterday, funny enough with the same line someone below posted .. "we were in your area dropping off a meat order to a neighbor and they didn't take all the meat they ordered so I have some boxes left over that I can give you a great deal on." I asked him how many pounds I would be getting for $500 (it was like $100 off he said and then I asked about chicken and he said he would give me a whole box of chicken for free for purchasing the beef). Would not tell me how many pounds as he sold by the cut. His wife and him were pulling all the beef out and I could read on each box how many pounds each one was, total amount of beef was 15lbs. We normally order from Alpine Ranch up north in Reno, usually an 1/8 of a cow (50 lbs) for $875, all cut in steaks, roasts etc. no delivery fee. When looking at this guys meat the color was sooo different from the meat we purchase up north, our is a deep burgundy color, the meat he has was red like you see in the grocery stores. I asked him several questions about being local, he said they are local, when I asked where the beef came from, he said california and some other state, not really local. I asked if the chicken was organic, he said yes, but no where on the boxes did it say organic, only"Natural".Anyway, I politely told him that it doesn't make sense when we can get 50lbs of beef from our normal spot for $875 and They offer chicken too. I told him I would keep his card in case, and he quickly started packing up and told Me that I can keep the card but basically don't reach out or something to that affect. Now reading these reviews I understand why. I'm sure he knew if I came in and looked up the company and saw all this I wouldn't be contacting him. Definitely an on the spot salesman hoping to talk people in to purchasing this meat.

These guys came to our door saying that they just had a wedding cancellation and that they had too much meat with nowhere for it to go. They said they were sure that we had seen their trucks around (we haven't) because they have a lot of customers in the area. The two salesmen went back and forth about how much they would charge, one said free, the other said $400. He then told me it was up to me how much I would pay. They also gave me a business card, but wrote down an additional number and said not to call the number on the front because the "owner was a jackass". So many red flags and I should've listened to my gut. I haven't tried the meat yet, but it doesn't look bad overall. Above all, he then asks for a tip. I wouldn't necessarily call them "scammers" because we did receive a product, however, they definitely aren't forthcoming with information and they don't seem like honest salespeople. After reading these reviews I think I have learned my lesson.

Pressure door to door sales. Owners did not return calls or emails. Sold us more than we could possibly store. Not licensed to sell in our area.

Most awful meat I've ever tasted. Close to $20 a lb. and you can't make any of it medium rare because it's so thin. I got played, don't give these people a dime.

They came into the guard gated community for 1 customer and then proceeded to solicit the entire neighborhood even though there are postings about No Soliciting on the gates. So many very angry people after they canvassed, ringing everyone's doors, in the area. I don't respect a business that doesn't respect their customers neighborhoods.
