Wahoo's Fish Tacos

Wish I had snapped some photos but I was too hungry. This is a massive location located on busy street. Great bar options and kitchen open all night if you go to the bar side.Gaming options at bar as well.Tons of seating and I like to work here during the day when it's not so busy. Also my team had a meeting here the other day and staff were so friendly and perfect spot for team meeting.Great decor and fun nautical theme.

Just walked out of Wahoo's after unsuccessfully trying to order dinner & beers. After standing at the main order counter for 5 minutes, we were finally told that we had to order all food at the bar. No biggie. We walk into the bar and sat there for over 10 minutes. The bartender was in the corner with her friend (who was a patron). She had her back turned to everyone at the bar and was texting on her cellphone while chatting with her friend. When we started to walk out, she said loudly, "I would've taken your order. Oh well, whatever" and immediately turned around to continue chatting with her friend. There was another guy waiting almost as long as us; I assume he's still waiting...

We used to eat at Wahoos in San Diego and it was so good so we gave this location a try.... Well we walked in and there were only 2 ppl eating so we should've walked out then... Customers shouldn't be the first to greet the employees. Isn't it custom for employees to say Hello or Hi or something when customers walk in? We had to greet this girl first and had to ask her if she was ready for us to order as she just stared at us for a good minute while we stood there trying to decide what to order. Then had the nerve to flip that screen over and ask for a tip. The tip option is absolutely absurd for a CASHIER! This place is definitely not here for the food. They're still in business for the bar and gambling. The food is for I'm guessing drunk people who don't realize the rice is hard, the beans are not cooked all the way through and the fish is overfried in likely old oil... definitely won't be back . Yikes.Update 2 hours later my stomach was in knots smh

Great meal! One of my favorite chain restaurants. Allie went out of her way to accommodate my daughter and we had a great time. Large restaurants with a lot of seating. I recommend the fish enchiladas and the dole whip (Yes, Dole Whip!!!).

Went in today for the first time. Food is good. Selection is whatever. Ashley is the best!! Great service Rooftop patio is the best.

Came here last night. First let me say I ordered some fries and normally you get a nice amount and they are just plain fries unless you order the cajun ones. We opted to get plain however, they were not plain they had some kind of salty cracked pepper stuff on them. That is not plain and it was not good! Secondly for $4 the serving that was given was ridiculous. We ordered the Baja rolls and they come with this spicy green sauce. When we checked our food there was no sauce and this has happened to us many times at this location. Instead of offering us another sauce or saying they were out, they said nothing. There should be a sauce option when you order and if that sauce is out it should say that because in my opinion, that's what makes the Baja rolls really good. With no sauce I wouldn't have ordered. Probably won't be back to this location. We have never had any issues at the location on Horizon. Every time we go there it is super empty so I'm not sure why they are lacking communication or running out of stuff.

Food was fresh. I got here 15 minutes before closing The food was excellent. Rice was cooked perfectly. I got the classic fish taco and I will be getting it again. The burger was fabulous.

We stopped here on our way home from Vegas for a quick dinner. We had our dog with us and they have a dog friendly patio. The place was virtually empty which was perfect for us. I ordered the Banzai Burrito with chicken. The burrito was full of rice, chicken, teriyaki vegetables (luckily only one piece of broccoli) but plenty of other veggies. I also asked for no beans. The burrito was huge and I ended up eating only half. My husband ordered the fish tacos. I would have ordered fish also but when I asked what kind of fish, they said it was the Wahoo white fish. I don't know what that is and if it was swai or tilapia, I'm not a fan. The absolute best part about this Wahoo's is they have Dole Whip and it's half the price of the Dole Whip at Disneyland. I ordered mine to go and ate it on the drive. Service was good and quick.

I was skeptical trying the wings at a Fish Taco restaurant, but the happy hour wings and beers were amazing!! The bartender Tiffany was amazing, I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town for business.

Used to come here a lot and boy where do I start. Last time I was there, it sucked. I figured they must have just had a rush and were trying to catch up ( now I doubt it) but food took forever and it was early in the evening. And the food was awful. Burrito was dry, rice was hard and the ice tea pot sat empty even after I asked the cashier if they were gonna make some more (it was only about 530In the evening).Flash forward about 5 months ,Got suckered into going in for their Desert Dogs deal for a free #2 platter after a select player scores two goals, hell yeah!Ahh hell no!! No problems with the #2 being dine only, who's gonna say no to tacos and sides and a beer while you wait for your burrito and another #2 to go. And then we wait.....and wait....and wait....No bartender around and almost done with my beer and no #2 for dine in. 45 minutes have gone by at this time and I had to wave down an employee who said she's the new bar manager (she rocked by the way) off the clock to see why my food is sitting up under the heat lamps. She is helpful and says something to the cook who brings out my to go order-47 minutes at this point and doesn't have my dine in order. He hasn't made it and the bartender tells me that he burned it and was making another one. They offered to comp my to-go and pay for my beer, threw them a twenty for a tip because I'm not out for a free meal and it's not their fault the cook should seek a different career and they were slammed with the total amount of zero people at the bar. That's right, there wasn't anyone there and oh by the way, this was at 9pm on a Saturday night. And now for the cherry on top. Got the slaw burrito home and it was disgusting. It had sat on the heat lamp so long that the Mr. Lees sauce was baked to a hard shell and the tortilla was hard as a rock. To the trash with ya! Glad it only cost me a good tip and a bit of my time. So I've been going to Wahoos in Vegas, Cali and Colorado a lot over the years and no matter what an owner or a bar manager or anyone else replies to this rant says, I won't be going back to the one on Eastern even if it was giving out free puppies with every terrible burrito purchased. Let's do better fellas, the big wahoo would be disappointed in ya!
