VooDoo Steak

What an amazing time!!!! Our server was incredibly nice and charming. We ordered a 3 course dinner as part of a anniversary deal they were having. For $130- we had a wine flight at the wine cellar that was a included . The limited menu had the perfect portion sizes. We started with a Cesar salad followed by your choice of a 6oz filet or salmon, both served with amazing mashed potatoes and asparagus, and ended the meal with an amazing chocolate cake! It was such a romantic setting on the 50th floor with a great view of the strip- low lighting setting the mood. A true Vegas classic.

I'll say the service is top notch and staff here are so chill they'll shoot the sh*t and guide you patiently on anything about their menuNow coming from a critical place--the filet mignon here is pretty good but not great. Again pretty good. Drinks and everything else is fine. The chocolate cake is pretty good too. I wish I could give this place a 3.5 instead of a 3 bc a 3 is just unfair but yelp unfortunately doesn't give me that option. Ambiance here is like a dress casual vibe and restaurant is chill enough that they let me friend's dog sit at the table. Overall this place is a solid 7 out of 10

Great Atmosphere, Service, Food Quality, and Value!I took my girlfriend to the Rio Wine Cellar Tasting, VooDoo Steakhouse dinner combination package. It was a great deal and she loved it. After Dinner, we went to the Penn & Teller Magic Show. I gave her the whole night's experience for her Christmas Gift and she loved everything!!!

Solid steakhouse with an amazing view of the strip from a he 50th floor. We had the seafood tower to start which was very well made and fresh. The steaks we ordered were well prepared too. I had the wagyu & my wife the small NYS. Mushroom side was so-so. A really well put together wine list with a few hidden gems. The staff was attentive without being intruding. I don't recall our server's name but based on what we experienced, all of them are probably top shelf. Be sure to time your reservation to watch the sunset over the Strip.

Voodoo Steak, situated atop the Rio, is a remarkable steakhouse in Vegas, offering absolutely breathtaking views! We arrived just before sunset and were genuinely in awe of the scenery. Although the restaurant has a slightly outdated feel, I believe it adds to its unique charm. For our appetizers, we chose the short rib bruschetta and a shrimp cocktail, which were delightful! For dinner, we shared a steak and grilled asparagus, and we couldn't resist finishing with a delicious crème brûlée for dessert! We were able to save a little on our bill as they offer a HH! So if you u're seeking a romantic atmosphere with stunning views of Las Vegas, Voodoo is definitely a must-visit!

VooDoo Steak is absolutely amazing and worth the visit. The restaurant has its own elevator that takes you right up to the 50th floor, which gives the restaurant an exclusive vibe. The elevator has a window to the outside so you can enjoy the view as you ride up. The seating is right up against the window or one table away from the window, so everybody has a good view while eating. We got the 10 oz Filet steaks and they were beyond delicious and incredibly juicy. The potato wedges as a side were really good. I loved the flavor of the cheese with the potatoes. They have a patio you can go out on to take a photo with the Las Vegas strip in the background. The food here is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is top-notch.

I've been to a lot of steakhouses in Vegas, and I'm glad I was able to try Voodoo Steakhouse in the Rio Hotel. Voodoo Steakhouse is located at the very top of the hotel and it gives you beautiful views. The hot seafood had what seemed like beurre blanc or lemon butter sauce. The Rib Eye was equally delicious. Seasoned well and cooked to my liking. Tender and flavorful. Definitely a spot I'd return to and would recommend.

Came on 12/12 at 5:10pm. The hostess girl was playing video games LOUDLY on her phone.We asked about happy hour and she said the bar was to the right.We walked ourselves to the bar and it was tiny. Only enough space for 4-6 people and no view.We asked the bartender if we can order happy hour items and sit along the window and he said it shouldn't be a problem since there was only one other table in the entire restaurant, and to ask the hostess. We went back to the hostess and she said absolutely not.... even though the restaurant only had one table in it.They should switch it so that happy hour guest can sit down and take their time eating. They would likely stay longer and end up ordering more food, which is what we were planning to do. The bar is just way too small to order food and drinks and be comfortable.The windows are all tinted, so you can't even really see the view.I'm so glad we checked it out first because we actually planned to spend New Year's Eve here, and now we are going to Alexxa's instead. NYE would have been so disappointing here.

This was an excellent experience, think relaxed jazz, incredible skyline Vegas views, succulent sides and melt in your mouth fillet mignon!I had the fillet, cooked medium, Caesar salad, wild mushroom medley, and asparagus, with a glass of Malbec. Everything was very pleasing to the palate. Although, I did request an extra side of ceasar dressing.Was pricey, at about $140, eating alone, but will do it again with friends sometime!

The view from the terrace is incredible. Our server Billy was the highlight of the night. Excellent service & attentive. My New York strip was seasoned nicely & tasty. My wife's Filet was disappointing. We capped the night with chocolate cake which was dry. May try the bar 1 floor up for drinks & skip the food.
