This place was very good. Was just looking for an Italian restaurant close to where we were at and ended up here. The service was great, we had an early dinner on a Friday night so was not busy when we arrived. They had a pianist playing which was nice. The food was very good, the chicken parmigiana was super thin with a light breading and nice sauce. I will say the meat balls in the spaghetti were not my favorite, I would say they were ok, a little on the tough side and ok flavor. I would not get that again. We only had one appetizer which was bruschetta and that was very good. Desert the cannolis were very good, the filling was wonderful, the crembrule was very good but the amount of custard layer was lacking just needed a lil more. Overall I would say 4.5 stars and recommend this place. If I was local I would add to my rotation but I am not.

My wife and I visit Vegas from Reno now and then and found this place on accident. Let me just say after the first visit, we have now may it a tradition to return every time we visit. Besides the food being absolutely delicious, the ambience is superb. During our last visit, there was a pianist playing beautiful music including holiday classics. If you plan on visiting, you may find a great Groupon but either way, my wife and I highly recommend this restaurant and the lasagne is a must try!

I'm back. I was here six months ago. Viareggio is an Italian town on the shore of Tyrrhenian Sea in northern Tuscany. It is the major center of the northern Tuscan coast called Versilia with a population of about 63,000 people and Lucca's second largest city in the province.Viareggio is famous for the "Passeggiata", a promenade, and for the oldest Carnival in Europe, the "Carnevale di Viareggio".Chef Alberto: In a hard worked family Alberto grew up close to New York. Chef Alberto found his own love for food, strongly influenced by his mother - an exceptional chef who nourished him with a classic Italian cuisine, local fish and homemade pasta. Her food was basic, swiftly made and always tasty. So they play live piano! We are right next to him! He also sings! I'm starting it off with an Old Fashioned made with Woodford Reserve bourbon, sugar, orange bitters and aromatic bitters. Sugar is a rare feature nowadays. Bartenders usually cheat and use simple syrup. Note also the large, square ice cube which slows up the dilution of the drink and keeps it chilled. This tastes just right! For our appetizer, we are having the Portobello Ripieno which is grilled portobello mushrooms either crab meat topped with mozzarella cheese. That is good! Wow! Tha sauce is amazing! I am also having Italian Wedding Soup. Italian wedding soup, known in Italian as minestra maritata, is a soup consisting mainly of green vegetables and meat in chicken broth. It is popular in the United States, where it is a staple in many Italian restaurants and diners. They also brought out the bread and butter. The bread is nice and soft. This soup is made with an egg too. It is delicious! I love this stuff! Next up I'm having a Mediterranean Salad made with tomato, cucumber, onion, feta cheese and olives with balsamic dressing. This is good! Veggies are very fresh! No lettuce so it's heavy. The dressing is fantastic! My partner is having the Insalata Di Bosco made with organic mixed greens, shaved apple, walnut, feta cheese and balsamic dressing. She says it is quite good! For my next drink, I'm having a Negroni made win Bombay gin, Campari and sweet vermouth. Note again the large ice cream. It is well garnished and tastes perfect! You can't go to an Italian restaurant and not have one. I took the picture after a couple sips so it looks a little short. It's a little bitter, but that's how it tastes like it ir not. For my entree, I'm having the Chicken Scallopini with Marsala sauce. The chicken is good! Love the potatoes and green beans. Cute garnish. My partner is having the Farfalle Al Mare Monti made with bow tie pasta, shrimp, baby arugula and sun-dried tomato in a lemon buttercream sauce. The paino guy plays almost non-stop. For my dessert, we are each having the Sorbet with a scoop of mango (me) and wildberry (her). This is yummy! What a great meal and nice entertainment!

I have been wanting to stop by this neighborhood joint for over a year now, which is why I hate having to rate it so low. Despite the ratings, there just wasn't one thing we had that was good. I will preface with, we got take-out which not all restaurants can execute well. So I will be giving it another shot dining in and will update when I do. What we got: We had side orders of the spaghetti and the bolognese. Both were not edible. The noodles were tough and chewy. The sauce had zero flavor. We had to go get in the spice cabinet and "doctor" it up to take a few more bites. The garlic bread was like eating a stick of clarified butter. Just greasy oil with a hint of garlic and butter flavoring (smelt good tho). Finally, we got a crème brûlée and a tiramisu. My 10 year old won't even eat the brûlée and she's hard to pull off the sweets. The tiramisu was frozen? Crunching down on little ice granuals was not the best experience when you're wanting a smooth creamy, espresso flavor. It was not as bad after it sat on the counter for an hour though. The inside of the restaurant was super nice and had a man playing the piano. It's a small place but smelled great and people looked to be enjoying themselves. Unfortunately, it did not have much else to offer on the take-out side of things. Fingers crossed next time is better. Stay tuned for more...

We just went there tonight. The place was empty & now I see why .. only two tables there with us being one at 7pm.. It was very cold inside. There was a piano playing in the other room. The Caesar salad was the worst I've ever seen. It was like chopped up, ends of romaine lettuce with little dressing, no anchovies and some store-bought croutons thrown on top. I tried to send mine back and they told me they were gonna charge me anyway I said it doesn't even have anchovies and then they said oh well will give you some. Why weren't they on the salad to start with ..The eggplant Parmesan was breaded and very little sauce on top , not like a normal eggplant Parmesan ..my friend had the veal Parmesan. She felt the same way. My other friend had some kind of mushroom appetizer which she said was nothing great. My husband did like his chicken piccata, but that was the only thing on the table that was half way good , would never go back. It was a waste of money. If you want true Italian don't go there !!

Absolutely amazing and the Groupon mad rot even better. Food was awesome, service was careful and quick, and the live music really sets the mood.

While I like Garfield hate Mondays and love lasagna it is difficult to find a good lasagna in Las Vegas. The lasagna at viareggio is delicious. I've also had the shrimp and lemon sauce pasta dish, spaghetti with meatballs, the Greek salad and garlic bread. Not only is the food delicious it's very reasonably priced.

This place is incredible! REAL ITALIAN. Fresh, home made, heart filled cooking. I went tonight with my family and we had the veal, chicken, and ravioli. They are family owned and have fantastic service. Their wine selection is great and they have a full bar. The decor is beautiful and they have a live pianist. They make their own desserts. Do not hesitate to try this place!! I promise you won't be disappointed. It is a hidden gem and I hope the owners get everything they are hoping for with their business because they deserve it!

THE BEST Italian restaurant! Excellent, fresh, authentic food, with each dish cooked to order, and with obvious care. The restaurant is run by a small family, all of whom are lovely. It looks unassuming from the outside, but is very nice inside.

Again...amazing food. I hesitate to share this incredible restaurant in fear it will become too crowded..but also need to compliment them for consistently serving amazing meals. Each of us has a different entrée - stuffed veal, filet mignon, sea bass and eggplant parmigiana. How often is everyone happy and impressed?!From appetizers to desserts- they knocked it out of the park
