Velocity Esports - Las Vegas

I wanted to try something different than Round1 and decided to visit Velocity on 06 January 2025 for the first time and my experience was amazing..The Self Service Kiosks are an additional gem to this place and you can continually go back to add Credit to your card. I played a variety of games while here :: Basketball , Racing , Shooting , and Skiing..They also had a Gaming PC area but I opted not to game. I overall enjoyed my time here and I will definitely visit again.

So I go to order a beer at the bar that's got maybe 5 people. The place is dead and the female bartender that I will not name was busy and the other bartender Ryan looked at me, walked away and started laughing with her that he wasn't serving me. I notified the bar manager.Alex, who did absolutely nothing except look at me like a deer in headlights. Clearly, they could care less about the customers or clientele..... My next call monday will be to notify corporate of what I experienced.Karaoke had nobody there and when I sang, they had three or four feedback issues and looked at me like it was my fault. Good guys, but didn't know what the hell they were doing. Maybe that's why on a Friday night. The place is dead. Work on customer service for your bartenders.And someone who knows what they're doing on the karaoke machine, and you might have more business.

Love the concept of this place as it gives an alternative to Dave and Buster's while having a similar feel. Have been here a few times now for work outings as well as just casual play and have enjoyed it each time. The first time we came, the food was pretty disappointing for the catered event but most recently (a week or two ago) the food had improved significantly so that was a major win. The lanes are nice in the bowling alley, though the ball was getting stuck fairly regularly. The staff was nice to help out but it definitely dragged the games a bit. It wasn't a big deal since it was for work, but if we had been paying by the hour it would've been pretty unfortunate. The arcade itself is nice and clean, without too many issues with games. Basically everything we played worked as expected which is nice for an arcade. There's a wide variety of games so you're bound to find something that suits you! Outside of the work events we brought some family from out of town and had some game cards leftover from the work events to give them. They went to town for a whirlwind hour of running through the place and had a blast. Definitely the perfect place to just let the kids have a good time. Overall we enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

It was quiet. Slow night. Large place. But the service was just as slow. My friend asked for mayo and by the time he almost finished eating it was brought out. The drinks were also subpar. But the server was very nice even though the service was a bit slow. There were a lot of game options but we ended up just staying at the bar. I will try this place again another time and give any updates.

My bartender at Velocity Esports, David was excellent. The happy hour is among the best anywhere (generous portions during the day of nachos, sliders, fries for only $6!) If I lived in Vegas I'd be here everyday. I love that they have a gaming lounge that's reasonably priced too.

I had a great time at Velocity. I came on a night that they had karaoke. I tried the burger and fries. Loved the garlic aioli sauce that came on the burger. Cheap prices. Fun games. You can't beat that.

Lots of arcade games and things to do. Large screen showing different sports, The sliders, tenders, pretzels and pizza are all tasty. They also offer beer and drinks for the 21 and over crowd. The staff is supper attentive and customer oriented. They have allowed us to use their back room a few times for the SCC PJ5k package pickup. This is a great venue for a party and they give back to the community. Great establishment!

Alright Alright Alright... I feel like this spot in town Square will forever be some type of arcade with a different name every few years haha. It used to. be Gameworks and now it's Velocity Esports. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what changed from it being Gameworks to this, as maybe I'm crazy, but I think a lot of the games are the same?We came here after painting at Pinot's Palette and wanted to grab a drink and play a few games. The nice thing about this place is that you can grab a drink and walk around and play video games, but I'm also pretty sure it's for all ages. Unlike Dave and Busters though, I didnt feel like this place was crawling with so many kids? Maybe it was just because of the time at night, but honestly I didn't see too many of them. Just a few families.I always love an arcade and love that you're able to drink and play video games, because I'm not the biggest gambler, but for some reason I enjoy this way more. Our bartender was great and did a great job taking care of us, too. I'm sure we'll be back! We had a lot of fun and definitely do recommend this spot.

I recently hosted our company Holiday Party for 350 attendees at Velocity Esports and everything for the buyout was fantastic from the initial contact with them to the entire event. Lyric and Kaitlyn were very responsive to all my requests and responded in a timely manner. We chose the Jingle & Mingle Party with a Holiday menu and Open Bar package along with unlimited game play. The food was excellent and the bar service was extremely efficient. All the staff were very professional, helpful and friendly.I highly recommend Velocity Esports for an event or just a visit with friends and family.

This arcade is in the middle of Town Square and used to be Gameworks. I'm glad this location opened back up. It seems like the new company is targeted more towards teens or adults. It has a full bar and drink specials. The staff is great. One of the managers even offered to take a picture of me and my daughter. All and all it's a cool spot to kill a couple of hours. Good for teens to go to while the rest of the family is shopping. Even a good first date spot. We need more places like this in Las Vegas.
