Mission: Find a show on Christmas Eve for the family that meets the following requirements. Not a cirque du soleil. Not a magician. Not a burlesque. Not a comedian. Not a singer. Not too expensive. Not too late. Not sold out. Well, that limited the options. I actually did not cast my vote. Sometimes with families, it is better that way.So after much discussion and reviews of the options, the in-laws decided to see the Ultimate Variety Show. Bought the tickets online for a show the next day. It is sort of a cross between the variety shows from old Vegas and what you might see on a cruise ship. The theater is....retro and intimate. All of the seats, except a few obstructed with a supporting beam, have a good view of the stage. If you sit close, you might become part of the show. The MC, Wally Eastwood, kept the flow as well as doing some assorted tricks like juggling, jokes and playing the piano with a tennis ball. The other acts of included a very good magician, a balancing duo, a hoop specialist, and a comedian. The Crazy Gauchos lived up to their name with their crazy drum routine. The show changes regularly, so you never know what acts you might see. Tickets were just $50 with taxes and fees on Vegas.com. Show starts at 7 PM. Located in Planet Hollywood, you can still see traces of the old Aladdin Casino as you wait for the show. A good choice for a family friendly show.

I'm such a huge fan of V - The Ultimate Variety Show. The talented performers are from a wide range of backgrounds and expertise. There's some amazing drummers, stuntmen, comedians and of course the talented juggler, Wally Eastwood! Wally is the host of the show and only juggler on stage. Juggler sounds like a simple act, but it's not. Wally's talent is notable and unique! He's such a great host and brings the show alive. It wouldn't be the same without him up there! My second personal favorite act was the contortionist Serbian woman that has a body of licorice! She's just so elegant and makes her performance look flawless. As other commenters mentioned -- these folks deserve an upgraded venue but otherwise -- 10/10 show!

The theater is rundown and could use a few renovations and the space is tight. They offer (2) shows a night 7p & 8:30p. Once seated the show is amazing. The MC Wally Eastwood was hilarious (sarcastic humor). His talent is so unique and circus themed. I loved him and I could not stop smiling. Each performer had their own style, talent and quirk. I felt like a kid (although some of the jokes were adult). What a great show, talent and night.

Late Post If you decide on this show, I would suggest parking at the mall this is located at the opposite (maybe middle) from the Hotel. My mother-in-law has a hard time walking and to have to make her walk further than necessary was nuts. The directions take you to Planet Hollywood again consider parking at the Shops. The show- got the tickets the night before ordered them though Vegas.com with the processing fee the total came out to $160 for the 3 of us ($20 cheaper than their website). I personally loved the show, I think we were in awe the whole time. We laughed and was in fear most of the time. I would highly recommend booking this show if you are in Vegas. The only downside which, I have to remove a star for is the Venue. I would've loved for it to be a bit more spacious, felt too close to people and no leg room. I am 5'3 and thankfully no one sat in front of us but if the seats were filled, I wouldn't be able to see! Wahh

V- the ultimate variety show is full on hilarious entertainment for 90 minutes. It's a show for all ages. The host Wally Eastwood is adorable, a ball of energy and keeps the show an audience going. There's so many shows in Las Vegas and if you are looking for one that is more wholesome that you can include your kids, nieces, nephews, parents or even grandparents who come to visit from out of town, I would highly recommend this show.

This was a great show! I enjoyed each act thoroughly. Some of the acts were completely unexpected. The MC was engaging, funny, and quite talented in his own right. I laughed and stayed entertained the entire time. You can get good deals on this show. We sat in the middle VIP section and the view was spectacular. This show is highly recommended.

Show is fantastic! I was amazed by the talent and strength of the performers! Definitely recommend checking out this show. Great price. The facility itself is run down, needs updated, my seat was broken that I sat in. You can purchase cocktails at the show bar next-door and take them in the show with you. A beer and well drink was around $14. The show is family friendly, feel free to bring the kiddos.

This was fun but it felt more like a carnival show than a vegas show. Maybe I've overhyped Vegas shows in my head. IDK. But it was cute and fun. But it's not something I'd really want to do again.

Wally Eastwood was a hilarious fantastic MC! He was super talented and we loved hearing his history and family life! The amazing performers showcased in this show were great as well!! There were all so strong and great at balancing themselves, and made the small stage work for them-just at talented as any of the cirque performers. My kids enjoyed the show greatly! It was upbeat and fun. I was happy we went to the show and wpuod recommend. Tips: park at the miracle shops parking lot off of Audrie. This made it very convenient to walk to. We waited in a long line becasue we had been told it was first come first serve but they just seated us on the seats that were called out on our tickets. We went to 8:30pm show but they didn't even open the doors until 8:40? And show didn't start until 9pm. Not sure if this always happens or what. V theater is inside the indoor miracle shops next to a restaurant/bat called Flight and La Salsa. No drink minimum for this show but also no outside food or beverages unless purchased from the Showgirl bar next to the theatre. No photography or video allowed in the theatre.

Bravo to all involved! Emily and Billy were phenomenal, and my favorite part of the whole show. They are such incredible performers, and truly the best I've seen in Vegas. Such a thrilling act!
