Urban Ranch General Store offers unique seasonal gifts and amazing home decor items you will not find anywhere else. The owner has decades of experience in architecture and design. She created a new plan for my master bathroom and supervised the remodel. Importantly, Durette travels extensively and visits trade shows which provide her with unique inspirations and future trends. She is always striving to exceed her clients' expectations.

I kind of forget about this place, simply because it is tucked back in the shopping center on the SW corner of Rainbow and Sahara, but it is always a worthy stop. I would say that if the "urban" spirit of the west is your style, this is your place for design ideas, some clothing, jewelry, home decor, gift ideas. As a previous reviewer said, LOTS of door, drawer and cub board pulls, knobs and handles. Some furniture pieces, lighting, candles and knick knacks. I went in looking for a unique hostess gift of sorts and had options from hand poured beautifully scented soaps to handmade felt fabric ornaments to lovely candles.I'm glad I popped in today and commit to be sure to pop in more often.

Hardware heaven awaits you at Urban Ranch. There is drawer after drawer overflowing with knobs and handles, and you won't find any "Made In China" average items that fill the aisles at Home Depot. Durette, the owner, prides herself on carrying items rife with craftmanship. In addition to knobs and handles, there are light fixtures, custom crafted wine cellars and numerous accessories to keep your home rustic and stylish. Many of her items are made from recycled materials as well. She originally had a store in Santa Fe, and everything feels very Santa Fe, which is a good thing. Plus, the location is very easy to access with parking right out front. She also carries some locally-made foodstuffs and charming accessories from cuffs to purses. Urban Ranch is a perfect stop if you're:1. On the hunt for above average hardware.2. Love shopping for your home.3. Are on the prowl for a gift. 4. Simply love to support locally-owned businesses.They also host monthly events for artists, so be sure to keep dibs on their calendar.

Yummy store. The owner was knowledgeable and very helpful to my needs! Hours are weekdays 12-4, but if u call she will set up appointments too!

I bought some lamps several months back and really liked the store. I stopped by regularly on my way home from work to peek in the windows because I was sure I would eventually find another treasure here. I did. I found a beautiful chandelier in the front window. But it was turned so I couldn't see the price tag - even with my nose pressed against the glass. And it seems the store hours have changed so try as I may I can't ever get in there. I would give this store 5 stars for unique charming eclectic merchandise and excellent service when I shopped there. But I'd only give them one star for being open just a few hours in the middle of the work day. I guess that averages to a 3. Please let me know if you extend the hours and I will be by.
