We came to Toshiba Plaza to watch world championship drone racing and to see Weezer. When I realized the event wasn't inside T-Mobile arena, it was in the square in front, I didn't have high hopes because I assumed the area was small. Shockingly enough, the area is pretty large and if set-up correctly, there is a lot of room. We were shocked at how well we were able to social distance in this "small" area as well. The layout really allows for a good amount of drink and food trucks. There are a few places to sit but be prepared to stand most of the time.

Toshiba Plaza is a fantastic gathering space located outside T-Mobile Arena and is the perfect meet-up spot before heading into the venue. Whether you're attending a concert, a sporting event, or simply looking for a vibrant atmosphere to relax and people-watch, Toshiba Plaza has it all. The plaza offers a spacious and well-designed layout, providing ample room for crowds to gather and enjoy the festivities. The surrounding restaurants and bars add to the lively ambiance, making it a perfect spot to grab a drink or a quick bite before or after an event. It gets pretty busy before VGK games as crowds gather to watch hockey on the big screens. There are usually plenty of bars, vendors and exhibits outside before the start of any event at T-Mobile Area so its best to come early to check it out.

Great place to pregame before VGK games. A little snack and some adult beverages before going in.

Joining T-mobile Arena to the Park, Toshiba Plaza is where the high positive energy of the Las Vegas Strip and Golden Knights come together. It is the two acre plaza where people celebrate Vegas and the Golden Knights. In Las Vegas we don't tailgate before the hockey game. There is zero need to. Surrounding the Home of the Las Vegas Golden Knights are countless bars and restaurants. The good times start at these establishments prior to moving to Toshiba Plaza close to the game. In a way, it is really a transition zone between the bars and restaurants on the Strip with the Park and T-mobile Arena. The times that I had hung out at Toshiba Plaza on game nights were the minutes counting down to entering the arena. The majority of that time was been spent on line. Toshiba Plaza is an interesting and upbeat place to wait on line. First there is the anticipation that soon I will be seeing the Vegas Golden nights. It is a mutual anticipation shared by thousands of fans that create a very positive vibe. In the moments leading up to progressing past security, National Hockey League (NHL) fans are celebrating the Vegas Golden Knights or their home teams. Often sharing in in these good times is the Golden Knights mascot Chance. Toshiba Plaza is along the route of the Golden Knights parade featuring Chance. There were a couple of times before getting in line, I witnessed the Golden Knights mascot leading on fans. You can say that the Golden Knights show starts here. In similar style to a sundry of modern arenas, the plaza leading into T-mobile Arena is spacious. Regardless that there are thousands of people entering and egressing the same arena, the pedestrian traffic flows smooth. Owing to the spaciousness, there are a sufficient number of cues to enter the arena. On the contrary, after a game or event the arena empties out efficiently. I noticed that after the game that pedestrian traffic disperses in three directions: 1. Towards The Park, 2. towards Park MGM, and 3. The NY-NY parking garage. Disparate from the sundry of modern arenas, the plaza leading into T-mobile Arena is unique. It is the only plaza that I know of where you can park by a castle then celebrate a Pacific Division NHL team under the New York City skyline in the middle of the desert. Additionally, it is the only arena plaza that I know of that is in the shadow of two casino resorts. They are NY-NY and Park MGM (formerly the Monte Carlo). Where Toshiba Plaza is rich in positive energy and unique architecture, it is deprived of shade. Being in the desert, two acres of concrete devoid of trees equals a burning oven in the brutal days of a Vegas summer. I remember the experience on that hot summer day before the inaugural season checking out the Golden Knights team store: the Armory. The heat island effect from all the concrete minus trees was so brutal that I could of boiled an egg on the ground. On the contrary during the Wintery Wonderland days of December, a crisp coolness permeates the air. This is when Toshiba Plaza gets a tree. A tall Christmas tree that is. In the following paragraph I talk about it more. During the joyful days and nights of December, I traditionally explore the Winter Wonderlands featured in the hotels and quasi- public spaces along the Las Vegas Strip. The parts create a magnificent whole. It gets better every year. This year, the contiguous Park is decorated as a Winter Wonderland with shows. However, the Park's Christmas tree rises above the northeast corner of the Plaza overlooking Park MGM. Last week as part of one of my Winter Wonderland walks on the Strip, this was a stop. If you are into the Winter Wonderland experience on the Strip in December, I recommend combining this with the Ice Rink at Cosmopolitan, Bellagio Conservatory, Aria Hotel Lobby, and Crystal's grand Christmas tree. On the Tuesday afternoon and evening that I visited, it was two acres of joyful quiet space overlooking the New York City skyline with T-mobile Arena, the Winter Wonderland of the Park, and Park MGM. This was a totally different dimension from the excitement on game night. Being that Toshiba Plaza is so tied in with the Golden Knights I rate it five stars when the Golden Knights win and two stars when they loose. Seriously I give it four stars. Toshiba Plaza For The World ( FTW)!!!

Located in front of the T-Mobile Arena very spacious probably a packed area during the hockey games and season. They have a stage area and areas to have a shop and other booths. Overall a great place to hang out during the hockey games if you're not inside the T-Mobile Arena watching the game.

This two acres open area in front of the T-Mobile Arena is the perfect spot for Vegas Golden Knights fans to hang out before game time. For those who cannot afford to sit inside the arena to watch the playoffs, you can watch on the big screens here at the Toshiba Plaza. There is a portable Vegas Golden Knights team store situated at the corner of this plaza too. If you are able to be there during a live performance, there is a large musical stage located in this plaza at the side of the arena for everyone to enjoy. This open area is very inviting and invigorating during game day. You must be present to experience the excitement for yourself.

Really enjoyed the gameday experience here. They opened the doors to the arena like an hour before the puck dropped, so it was cool being able to listen to the DJ spin music on his iPhone while getting pumped up for the game. It's cool being outside here around other fans before heading inside. Being from South Florida, we didn;t really have anything like this for any of our teams. This s like tailgating without having the cars around. Well done, city planners!
