This was our first visit to Top of the World, located on the 106th floor of The Strat overlooking Las Vegas. You start with an elevator ride that moves at 3 floors per second. It's fast enough to make your ears pop!We selected a table on the rotating section of the restaurant. Our server, Jennifer, was friend, efficient and helpful with suggestions. We ordered the lobster bisque, a filet and a 16oz ribeye. Jennifer told us that while the overall menu is seasonal and changes every three months or so, the bisque is the original recipe from when the restaurant opened in the 1990s. It did not disappoint; it was the best lobster bisque we have ever had. Dark, creamy, full of lobster and nicely spicy. Our steaks were cooked as ordered and good (but not great, the filet was a bit dry and the hollandaise was bland). We had the Dubai rolls for dessert (far right on the dessert cart in the photo). That is an excellent finish to a meal and recommended.

The food is amazing! To be completely honest I was a little nervous to come here by seeing all the negative reviews and comments. It was my birthday weekend and my amazing bf surprised me with reservations right next to the window which was an amazing view!I ordered the Filet & my bf ordered the Wagyu New York both medium rare. I don't like pink as much but didn't want to completely chew a lot but it was a little more pink than I expected so I would probably get it Medium. The mac and cheese was too good I wish I could've took a whole bowl home! The mash potatoes were amazing with the steak as well. We also got the short ribs as a starter which you definitely have to get! Slides of the bone just the way you'd like it and has such an amazing sauce to it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a romantic date night and celebrations. We also had an amazing server but I completely forgot her name but she was amazing and so attentive. All the workers are so nice and friendly as well! I had an amazing birthday experience and I will come back again forsure!

The views are astonishing, considering the entire restaurant revolves 360 degrees, hundreds of feet in the sky! I personally found the elevator ride kind of interesting and fun. While the service was memorable. I had chosen the seafood platter, which featured a variety of fresh shellfish, including oysters, 2 crab claws, and 2 large pieces of fresh shrimp. The platter also included a cup filled with fresh crab meat. The seafood tasted incredibly fresh. We also ordered the seared scallops, which were perfectly cooked, and the salmon, which was somewhat underwhelming. While the salmon was incredibly fresh, its flavor didn't contribute much beyond the natural taste of the fish itself (I love natural Flavors of meat, but something more would've been appreciated to make it more memorable/unique for the price paid-- I could go to my local organics store for $15 and having incredibly fresh tasting salmon, so I would've liked to have a unique tasting experience having paid so much). The service was also exceptional, offering Forbes quality service, while the ambiance was pretty high end with an enforced dress code (ensuring guests are nicely dressed)-- which awkwardly ties into my next issue regarding safety...My main concern revolved around the lack of safety measures when accessing the restaurant. There was a noticeable absence of active security patrolling the casino floor beyond the single security post I came across (60% into the walk), although the security team was exceedingly friendly. Given the location and potential foot traffic from various sources including the street (in a not so safe area), it seems crucial for the casino to enhance security throughout its property and garages. Security was able to walk us through (at the end of the night), only because one of our guests needed a wheelchair... but having that person there was a relief for all of our nerves. Due to safety concerns, I hesitate to return to this restaurant. If I do, I'd use a rideshare and avoid flashy attire since I noticed homeless people inside. The increased random foot traffic in the casino is concerning, especially when dressed up for a high-end meal. Security was limited. Such an experience dampens the mood of a special occasion. Thankfully, our exceptional server and the views salvaged the experience. The food was good and fresh, just underwhelming. For casinos offering fine dining, better security measures for guests accessing the restaurant through the potentially risky casino/garage area are essential (since the restaurant is owned by the casino). It's a shame because the restaurant has many strong points.

We had an incredible time at this restaurant! I was on the hunt for a fantastic place to celebrate my birthday with a delectable dinner, and this restaurant far exceeded my expectations. They have a meticulously curated menu and an impressive array of steaks to choose from. The food was simply amazing--the Ribeye steak was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying side dishes were equally delightful. I opted for the potato purée and mac and cheese, and both were fantastic.Afterward, it was delightful to ascend to the upper level to enjoy the breathtaking views and browse the souvenir stores. Although the roller coaster was closed, the observation deck offered a unique and exciting experience. While our table wasn't situated on the rotating floor, the views were still breathtaking. The service was exceptional, and I eagerly anticipate our return.

Dinner here was on our last night in Las Vegas. It's a rotating restaurant atop the Stratosphere Tower. We wanted seats by the window. When you reserve you have to pay for the window seats. We arrived promptly and were escorted to a waiting area then led to the bar as we waited for our table. The view of the Vegas strip is spectacular. I ordered a vodka spritzer - just OK. My friend had an old fashioned which she said was made to perfection. We shared the lamb chops with mashed potatoes. The chops were tasty, tender and slipped right off the bone. The price was a bit steep but I guess the view made it all worthwhile . This a very nice ending to our Las Vegas adventure. My first 2025 trip.

Amazing dining experience with a stunning view! The food I will say needs refinement but was decent. The prices are high for food that is mid. The entrees were enjoyable but could have been better , more flavorful, something thats WOWs. Appetizers just delicious, melt in your mouth watering. We went on Xmas day for dinner. The team there is amazing at what they do. Try it out & see the cool city 360. 5/5 DECOR/AMBI3.5/5 FOOD5/5 SERVICE

Absolute wonderful service. I our case, the food was exceptional. Wine by the bottle (Daou) was $95. We are Vegas locals and were there for Valentine's Day weekend. If you want to go for Valentine's, make a reservations 3 months in advance.

Worth it for a special occasion for this unobstructed view of Vegas! The food and service do not disappoint, with a variety of main dishes to suit your fancy. Pay for the window-view table without a doubt! And leave room for a drink at the sky lounge after you finish your dinner.

The best lobster bisque I have ever had . The view was amazing. The staff was on top of every desire. This was a birthday dinner, and they made it a birthday to remember. The elevator ride up will make your ears pop. Reservations are necessary. There is a lounge for drinks after dinner. The restaurant spins so you get the most amazing views of the strip.

My incredible girlfriends surprised me with a dinner reservation for four during my visit, and I couldn't have been more impressed! Check-in was smooth, and we were promptly escorted to our table. The real highlight? We scored a spot by the window, and let me tell you--the view was absolutely breathtaking. From the hostess to the elevator attendant, the floor manager, and our server, every staff member was welcoming and attentive. As soon as we were settled, fresh bread arrived at the table, setting the tone for a fantastic evening. We kicked off the celebration with a bottle of wine expertly recommended by the manager (I wish I could remember his name!). The service was flawless--no complaints at all.The seafood we ordered was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor, and the steak was cooked to perfection, though I would've loved just a touch more seasoning. To wrap up the night, we indulged in another bottle of wine and treated ourselves to four different desserts. The warm butter cake was hands-down my favorite--absolutely divine.Overall, it was an unforgettable evening with amazing food, impeccable service, great company, and stunning views. Highly recommend!Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5
