Took me a while to get to this updated review. What can I say?!? Another great meal and wonderful service at Tom Colicchio's. We came here during Cowboy Christmas. Place was packed but we were lucky enough to have a reservation. This time we sat at a table. We had a few servers, all were great but I must say Kevin Carter, or maybe it's the other way around was hilarious. He made our amazing meal even better with his jokes and contagious laugh! Food was fantastic and of course we had to end with the AH-mazing monkey bread. Looking forward to returning again!!!

Visited Craftsteak while staying at MGM and let me say it was a big disappointment for the reviews it had and the prices and I base my reviews on having previously eaten at Hank's, Cut, Hugo's cellar, The One steakhouse,Vic & Anthony's, Oscar's steak house. First the ambience is great and low lighting really set a good tone and makes for a nice pleasant date. The personnel were all great and all the servers were friendly, polite, and delivered outstanding customer service. Now for the not so good which was the main reason we visited and that was the steak . The steak lacked flavor and was a very thin cut of ribeye at the most it was a 1/2 inch thick. See the pics. All the steakhouses I mentioned above have at least 3/4 inch to inch thick steak. Even though it was aged steak which I love, still lacked some seasoning. The fries appeared to be overcooked and were harder than normal and both my guest and I believed they should have cooked less and should have had more flavor even for fries. The broccoli was ok and really hyped up by the waiter but it was ok. Bottom line, I wouldn't eat here again for the lack of flavor, lack of seasoning, cooking not to par and the size and thickness of the steak. For a 98.00 ribeye and $77 filet, I have much better options in Vegas with better flavor and texture and size. Take it from someone who loves steaks, eaten at best steakhouses in America, and someone who has won a steak competition.

Craftsteak delivered an absolutely incredible dining experience! The steak was cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and everything you'd hope for in a top-tier steakhouse. The sides were just as impressive; the crispy fries, perfectly seasoned broccoli, and fresh salad all complemented the meal beautifully.A special surprise made the night even better--monkey bread for dessert in celebration of my birthday! Such a thoughtful and delicious treat. We were lucky to have Kerry as our bartender, and he was so fantastic that we decided to stay at the bar instead of moving to a table. His service, recommendations, and overall energy made the night extra special.Highly recommend Craftsteak for an unforgettable meal and top-notch hospitality!

Beautiful and elegantly decorated restaurant with amazing service! I had the filet mignon that lacked a bit in flavor but very tender and still good. We had the french fries that had a certain spice on it and were a bit over fried but, OK and I wish they tasted better. The broccolini was pretty good, but kind of spicy and kind of hit the back of my throat, but not too bad. I would definitely not go back especially when I have tried other steakhouses in Las Vegas and we're way better in flavor. The buns were good

The steak and service was amazing. I definitely recommend anyone in the area to try this place out. We went with craft cocktails and the bone in ribeye steak with al la carte sides... everything was incredible. The service was top notch and everything was paid attention to with top notch hospitality. The price was also perfect for a steakhouse in Vegas ... especially the MGM!!! Try it!!!

Another great experience! For the last several years while attending an event at the MGM, this is always my first stop. Sit at the bar and have a wonderful conversation with the person next to you and bartenders. Make sure you stop by and experience the awesome cocktails and dinner! Enjoy!

As a retired Top Chef fan, I was curious about Tom Colicchio's cuisine. I enjoyed watching him judge and occasionally demonstrate his cooking skills on television. After dining at this establishment, I understand why Tom Colicchio is the head judge on Top Chef. The Caesar Salad with the pickled white anchovies alone deserves five stars! It was well-dressed and had enough salinity from crunchy pieces of parmesan. The lettuce was chopped into pieces that held up against the more assertive flavors. The pickled white anchovies were a surprise! I anticipated a salty punch, but a lovely acidic note tied the salad together. The anchovies added an incredible bite against all the crispy and crunchy textures. Having had this salad, I have a newfound appreciation for flavor combinations. I love this salad! We also had the Lobster Bisque, Ribeye, Diver Sea Scallops, Potato Puree, and Baby Spinach. The potato puree was creamy and rich, the scallops tender, the lobster bisque was smooth, and the baby spinach cut through all the richness. The place is spacious, great for groups. The service was outstanding! A team served us, and we have no complaints! So, if you're on the fence about trying this place, make that reservation asap!

Best. Meal. Ever.No seriously, we eaten here before and both times have been absolutely delicious. You literally have no idea.We had the warm Frisbee salad and a Caesar salad (with the anchovies), the filet mignon and of course the potato puree. We could literally just order 4 or 5 of the puree and just stuff ourselves with that - it's SOOO goooood. We had a bottle of Duckhorn, and an old fashioned and then for dessert the chocolate caramel cake. Holy crap were we full, and HAPPY! Thanks Craftsteak for an unbelievable meal!

1000% recommend visiting Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak in MGM Grand. We made reservations through the MGM app and reserved a tomahawk that is prepaid. We actually ended up moving the reservation back a couple hours because we weren't that hungry and they were very accommodating. When we arrived we were brought right to our seats and introduced to our servers. The wine/cocktails menu is huge! We ordered the Sinatra whiskey and two smoking barrels. They smoke the two smoking barrels drink at your table and is a fun presentation. We ordered the warm frisée and wagyu tartare for the first course and the aligot and mushrooms for the sides. The buttered rolls were so fluffy and delicious. The tomahawk was perfectly cooked. Everything was so delicious. We can't wait to come back!

Yum! Great steak - got the filet mignon and it was cooked very well. I enjoyed their side options as well. The dessert (monkey bread) was delicious and perfect to end the meal. We also had great service and we're checked in on frequently.
