Looking for a fun, creative date idea? The Pottery Shop is the perfect spot! The hubs and I had a post-Christmas date here, and it was such a memorable experience. You can reserve a spot to paint pre-made ceramics or, like we did, take a spin on the pottery wheel for a hands-on adventure. The spin class lasts about an hour, and booking is super easy through their Eventbrite link. Our instructor, Alex, was amazing--so patient and encouraging! She walked us through each step, demonstrating the techniques before letting us give it a try. Each student gets three pieces of clay to work with. You can pick one piece to take home (included in the class price), or keep additional creations for $15 each. We couldn't resist--we kept all three of mine and two of the hubs's! Alex offers a variety of gorgeous glaze finishes, and she'll dry, fire, and glaze the pieces for us. In about four weeks, they'll be ready to take home and enjoy. This class was so much fun and really got our creative juices flowing. Whether it's for a date, family outing, or solo project, The Pottery Shop is a unique and relaxing way to spend your day. Highly recommend giving it a try!Pro Tips: - Ladies, cut your nails if possible. Not a must but it'll feel so much better. - Bring a square pillow to sit on if possible. The metal chairs are a bit uncomfortable.- Don't miss the phone holder right at the workstation like I did lol you'll be able to record what you're doing!

My friends took me out for my birthday celebration here and we had so much fun! We made a reservation online and got our own table. The painter's fee is $9 each and the additional price depends on the piece you choose to paint. They had many types of pottery, from salt shakers to plates, trinkets to vases, dogbowls to toothbrush holders, etc. They recommend coming 10 minutes before your appointment to choose your piece. I did notice that after we all chose our pieces, new pottery designs made their way onto the shelf that we did not see before. The staff made sure to explain their process, but if one forgot, the postcard they gave each painter had instructions on the back. Also, the postcard was used to hold your paint, which I did find a little difficult to keep all the paint colors separate from each other. If you needed to clean your postcard, there is a sink next to the single restroom. Paints were located on one side of the studio next to the cabinet of stencils and aprons. For the finer details, paint pens were available at the check-out counter. I do wish there were more paint pens available as I had to check back multiple times before the color I needed was put back (I believe there were only one paint pen of each color). There was a small party going on one side of the studio where I saw people with outside food (pizza boxes and drinks), so this would be a great place to have a small party with food! Overall, I will definitely be back to paint more pieces as this was such a therapeutic activity. They said the pieces are usually glazed and ready for pick-up around 14 days, but since we came in during the holidays, it may take 16 days.

This shop is woman owned and located in Town Square across from the new Tiger Woods mini golf park. Of course Town Square has so much to do also. This is a great date spot or family friendly place also. My girlfriends and I take our children every year to paint a Christmas pottery. It's a little tradition. We tried The Pottery Shop this year instead of Color me Mine. Pick your piece, wet it down to clean it, and then go grab your paints and brushes. They have guides with the glazed color options so you can see what colors your piece looks like after glazed. This location does get busy in the evening and weekends so I do suggest a reservation. They also do fun themed paint days like charcuterie paint nights, character paints (such as Elsa from Frozen) for kids paint day, and they have a pottery class where you can throw your own pottery. I would have liked to see more input or assistance from the employees but we still enjoyed ourselves. We did clean up after ourselves which wasn't a dealbreaker at all but they do ask for a tip when you go up to pay for your piece. Our group was told 14 days and it took exactly 14 days before we all received our text saying it was ready. It is lots of fun for all ages and very relaxing. There are some people that are so incredible at their designs. We are pretty basic but we have Christmas decorations that hold dear memories.

I came here on Valentine's Day with some coworkers and it was a fun experience. There are so many different pottery options to choose from. There are also stencils, pain pens, and brushes to use. We made a total of 5 pottery items and it took a little less than 2 weeks for us to pick them up. The colors that they will end up looking like don't necessarily match the colors when they are initially painted on. Don't worry, I swear it turns out that color after the fact. The staff was really friendly and there's music playing extremely softly so it's still easy to talk with others or just quietly concentrate on your art piece. This is a good place to go alone or with a group. It is an artists playground for sure.

Came here during a special LGBT event and had purchased our entry fees ahead of time. The event took up the entirety of this place and it was super wholesome to paint and bond with other like minded individuals. The shop has a display of cute pottery pieces all ranging from different size and price. You pick whichever and however many you wish to paint during your class. The event provided snacks, drinks, and amazing music! The staff is very friendly and helpful. One staff member went through detailed instructions regarding our pottery pieces, the paint station, and other equipment available to us. Our pieces were ready in a couple weeks and they turned out terrific!

Family fun place! This is a nice and relaxing experience. You pick the piece and have access to all the supplies needed. Some pieces are a little pricey, but you can find some reasonable priced. Only feedback I have is that it can get a little loud because of the families chatting while competing with the music they are playing.

So relaxing and quaint and modern.I had such a great time painting the pottery piece I chose. It reminded me of the simple good old days of just relaxing and making something with your hands and arts and crafts. Just bliss. This place is super clean and organized. There's tons of pottery pieces to choose from at the front in different price ranges. After selecting your item, the ladies at the front desk provide instructions and what to do and give a placard to hold paint. Find a spot at a table, grab an apron optional, then choose your paints to add to your card. I got to work dampening my vase with sponge and water and sat down with the Vegas Girls group that I came with. We all had a good time chatting and painting and helping each other. What a great bonding time with girls. I picked up my vase after 2 weeks and it was beautiful and shiny. I'm taking my husband here next for an awesome date night! Pure bliss.

Nice concept of something to do near the strip. It was super busy when we went. The ladies working up front give you their spiel of how it works before you get to your table. They have an okay selection of pottery to choose from. Once we got to our seats, we were given a small palette to include maybe 4 colors at a time. The paints were grouped by shades of color. The people who worked here did not come around to check on us or help, which is probably not expected here, but at other pottery shops there were people that would check on your table and help when needed. You'll need to let your creative juices flow and just hope for the best that your paint project comes out good. It takes about two weeks to get your completed ceramics back. It will be exactly two weeks tomorrow and we haven't received a notification that it's ready, so we'll probably call tomorrow to see if it's ready.

This place is so cute and peaceful. We really enjoyed our pottery workshop. Each ticket for the class is $39 each. I think it is a good value for the price. The first visit you create your mushroom. The second is for painting after it's been baked in the kiln. Our class was an intimate group with 6 people. It was a great size because it gives us plenty of time for one-on-one attention from our instructor, Coi. Coi was an awesome instructor. She made our experience better with her great energy and good vibes. She was patient with us!! Will definitely return for more projects in the future!
