A very interesting history of the Mob and its ties to Las Vegas. Great displays. I spent 2 hours last time and 2 hours a second time (excluding time in the bar) and it wasn't enough (I like to read everything).

Fun little museum, great for a rainy afternoon in downtown Las Vegas. Located walking distance from the Fremont Experience inside an old courthouse used for the famous Kefauver Hearings into organized crime. The museum has a bunch of exhibits and artifacts about mobs and organized crime in America, particularly around prohibition in the 1920s. Also has a speakeasy style bar in the basement. Good for 1-3 hours, depending how much you want to read. $35/adult as of Feb 2025, discounts for locals, students, and military.

Here from Cali on a girls trip celebrating one of our diamond friends for her 40th birthday. She recommended this place so let's go.Parking, is $8 and we paid $34 for our tickets online. Also, they have a $2 discount via yelp that I didn't discover till I purchased my ticket. The museum itself has lots of history. They have a great gift shop too. People, actually came in dressed like old school gangster. It was totally a vibe to see pinstriped, fur, and more.I can't wait to return because next time I'm dressing like an old school gangsta. They have a restaurant. They serve food, drinks, and more. Everyone were super nice with our large group. They actually put us in their V.I.P. lounge without even asking.Thank you so much for the amazing experience. Can't wait to return.

You gotta go. Clean, well organized, good lay out, and great staff. Next time in Vegas we'd for sure go back. There's a lot to see and read, and we didn't get to everything in our 3 hours there. If you wanna park on site they have a lot and on the day we went it was $8 per car. They had security out front, the employees could radio each other if things were needed, and the check in line moved quickly. We rolled in with 14 people and several experiences booked, they set us up with QR code wrist bands and explained all the steps. From being greeted out front, to the check in counter, the Crime Lab experience, and the Distillery experience- they crushed it. The Crime lab was cool, interesting, and gross all at the same time. Most of the group LOVED it, you get to try your hand matching evidence and determining cause of death in a few instances. I wish I remembered the name of the man who ran the lab, he was even kind enough to take a group pick for us. The Distillery was by far my favorite, she crushed her presentation, and the moonshine was interesting and fun to taste. Thanks y'all, we had a blast.

Definitely worth a visit and not only much better than expected it was also nothing like I expected. I would say the only downside is that they stretch the "mob" part a bit further than they needed to adding what seems to be off topics linked back to mob activity. In other words, it depends on how you look at it.There are three floors to explore. The audio tour is self-paced and a great add-on. The crime lab is okay if you have zero experience doing anything like that before. The distillery tour in the basement is almost a must. Why a distillery tour? Well, besides drinking you do learn a lot about prohibition. Next to the distillery is a speakeasy as well. It seems you can bypass the museum entirely if that is all you are interested in.They do host events as well, and you might want to check out the calendar to see what is going on before buying tickets. As a bonus (or maybe a negative for some people) it is near Fremont Street. Not close enough to fall into everything that you might think of for that "experience", but close enough to walk a block or two and be there.

I went to The Mob Museum with a group of 4 on a Thursday. None of us had ever been before. I'd say we spent 1-2 hours here. It was interesting and informative. There are some fun displays and short movies. The best part was the old courtroom. The building is a former courthouse and post office. The gift shop is stocked with fun merch and it's located downtown right near Freemont St and other attractions.

Great museum! You will need at least 2 hours to go through just the general museum. There are add on such as the lab and distillery which will take more time so if you're looking for something to spend a good part of the day. This could be it.General admission ticket is $35 for non NV residents. However you can purchase tickets online and check in between 9-11 am for $27.50 (again that's for non NV residents). Parking is $8 for 4 hours, it's right next to the museum. The building itself was the courthouse and post office. It's full of interesting history. I'm going to let you discover the museum for yourself. Just know that the museum is well done, lots of photos and information to examine, those little short 2, 3 minutes videos are great.Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It's walking distance to Freemon street. Definitely worth the time and money!

Pretty nifty! As someone who works organized crime, I enjoyed the different aspects that were shown. The origination of crime groups, court cases, various scams, and modern day organized crime were laid out wonderfully and people seemed very interested. Some areas got a little congested with visitors, but people were respectful. My favorite was learning about the JFK/Oswald theory, the St. Valentine's Day's massacre wall, and the gas chamber chair from Carson City.

2nd activity in 2025 and I've been wanting to get here for years. This was a really enjoyable history experience. With 3 levels to explore, we were easily here for 2 hours. So much to see and learn, you will find yourself reading most of the information and listening to the full videos. Fascinating information shared and so many great artifacts. I especially enjoyed taking the souvenir photos in the jailhouse line-up room.
