The Mac King Comedy Magic Show

Are you looking for a family friendly experience (with some adult humor) in Vegas? Then Mac King's comedy show is just for you! Don't be fooled by it being in the same showroom as Thunder From Down Under! This is a family friendly show! Ever since I was a wee lass I would see his mug plastered on every taxi or billboard and was always curious of what the show would be like! I finally decided to attend an event because there was a great deal for MGM rewards members that I couldn't pass up, and I'm glad I didn't! Without giving too much away, I'll say that Mac had a penchant for comedy, magic and entertainment! Everyone in the audience was having a great time. There was even an opportunity to meet Mac after the show (free), and I even got my book signed by him! He was very kind and accommodating to for selfies too!

There's a very good reason why Mac King has been performing for so long. It's a wonderful show for the entire family with occasional jokes for the parents. It's a great combination of silly, magical, and surprises. We love how most of the tricks are unique instead of the silly rope tricks or etc that magicians learn from YouTube. We enjoyed meeting him after the show for a picture and signature too.

Mac King was amazing! His ability to play off of the audience, switch gears when people don't quite do things the way he plans for them to do, and his interaction with everyone he pulled up on stage made the show so much more fun!I would be lying if I didn't say our favorite part was when our 10 year old Talon, got pulled up on stage to participate in a camping lesson. We've never laughed so hard! The adult humor was on point, and the kid humor was equally as funny. It was the perfect way to end our trip to Las Vegas.The whole show made our oldest, Treten, super excited to learn more that he got both the book and the magic kit after the show. Mac even signed the book and the poster our youngest got during the show, and took pictures with us all. Such a cool experience. Thank you for the memories!

Mac King's show was so entertaining for the whole family from 7 to 45 years old. He had us all laughing and in awe. I enjoyed this and whole recommend it for everyone!

This is SUCH a great show. I have an 11 year old son and was looking for something fun for us to do, and Mac King did not disappoint. We were both amazed by all of his tricks, and he was so funny and engaging. I am impressed that he probably does this every day of his life but keeps it fresh and personal. We laughed a lot and looked at each other many times saying "how did he DO that??" Truly a wonderful show. I would see it again in a heartbeat.

A great and funny magical show. I had a great time. It's a Vegas bargin for live entertainment and at a early hour. It gives you time for other activities.

He did a lot of 'oh it's in the zipper of my pants' jokes/tricks. Very off putting and was probably only funny the first time... just not worth it... I fell asleep. Go see Shin Lim instead.

I believe the greatest magic Mac King displays is his enthusiasm and craftsmanship delivering his show. Despite running this gig for almost 20 years, his performance feels fresh. He's funny, down to earth, and honest in his storytelling. Also, it's not about the tricks (that are intriguing, btw) but is his storytelling, his positive energy and grace interacting with the audience - intertwined with magic tricks - that keeps people booking sold out performances over such a long period of time.His magician colleagues (as Shim Lin, Penn & Teller, Chriss Angel) get lower reviews - though they have better marketed names - and charge premium for their tickets. Watching this show after 10 years and still getting surprised is one of the reasons, I believe.I don't care about Vegas, but Mac King is a great excuse to fly over there!

We went in with no expectations since we needed to kill some time in between meals. But holy moly, what a fantastic show it was. I laughed the entire time! The magic tricks were unique, the delivery took them to another level. Mac King was truly an entertainer! I am so glad we bought the tickets.

Very clever and enjoyable. Great for couples, families. Amazing magic, with audience participation.
