The Lounge

I have family in town staying at Excalibur & we decided to go downstairs & grab a drink and catch up. However, when we entered this bar, no one & I mean absolutely no ONE acknowledged us. The bartenders continued to wipe the counters around us & did not get a greeting at ALL. We stood there more than 5 minutes which is unacceptable to not even get a , "Hello". The bar wasn't even full or the lounge . We felt completely disrespected.

Just OK as there surely can be room for improvements.Came here on a Saturday night as the band that's playing was really awesome. The place was casual. March madness, college basketball, was showing prior to the band playing.Our server, Melina (may have mangled her name :)) was super nice. She was busy but still going through the gauntlet making sure she had her tables served. We were seated, all six of us, drinks were on plastic cups. Oh well, after COVID, everything disposable was safer, I guess. Bear in mind, they do not serve any food, munchies or give freebie peanuts. So, make sure you had your meals. Excalibur has a number of franchised restaurants. At first, we were reserving a couple of seats as our friends were on their way. We were told we cannot do so but after a while leniency prevailed.The Lounge is in the Excalibur Hotel, a not so new hotel, so smoke smell is prevalent. So, for those sensitive with the scent, skip the lounge.As for us, as long as the music is best and alcohol is minimum, this place is a hang-out.

I have only been here for karaoke on Sundays but It was super fun.We usually sit at a table and open up a tab. The servers come regularly and the mixed drinks are good and strong.Only thing I would say is for some song it seems like the speakers are to loud, or maybe its just the track. Great place to have a few drinks, laugh, and if you have enough courage go up and sing.

Great bar to have some drinks before hitting the strip. Our favorite bartenders were Jorge & Christy, they took care of us real good! Live music on the stage with plenty of seating and tables with a great of the stage. Hanging out here you are bound to see alot of interesting characters and strike up some good conversations!

Don't order anything but beer--otherwise you'll be cursed at, chastised for your choices, and given awful and lazy renditions of their specialty drinks. An Old fashioned is not jack and water...

Strawberry daquiris here are huge. Great bartenders and fun staff. I like the games they have at the tables.

Casual bar. You usually get two free drinks if you stay at The Excalibur. This is a good place to use the coupons and to hang for a bit. Jim, the bartender, has been there for a while, and provides great service.

Only three stars for The Lounge, mostly because of how you smell when you leave Excalibur: reeking of cigarette smoke. It's not unique to the lounge itself, but a general casino thing. I've played shows in this lounge, and the sound guy is friendly and can handle us a-okay. There is one waitress who gets our drinks for us, and I asked for straight up pineapple juice (not a drinker, myself); and next time I was there, she asked if I wanted that again. Love that she remembers! (I didn't say no...) Usually there are pretty good crowds that gather, though not always wildly excited to be there. Not too shabby, I suppose...

It is definitely a casino bar! Leona, the bartender on this Thursday afternoon, has a great East Coast accent. I wasn't betting on the in-bartop machines, but I used my food/drink credit here since there are really only a few paces to do so. I grabbed a few vodka tonics in the middle of the afternoon, and she brought them to me quickly. They were tasty, and she was quick with a late lunch recommendation. What more do you really want?

The karaoke here is awesome!!! Lots of fun and great service! Rusti is a amazing KJ! Definitely worth checking out!
