Great service, really good drinks! The vibes are chill (prohibition theme) and the place is cozy, about 30 seats. Perfect for a little date night. I recommend. I love that the hosts complimented me! Such a sweetheart. Made my day!

Three stars solely for concept and ambiance! First and foremost, make reservations! We didn't know this and ended up waiting until the last seating to finally get in! We were shocked when we got in to find that it was nearly empty with only one other couple that were seated at the bar and had been there awhile! Why we had to wait was beyond me! So, the whole idea that you have to find a secret object to gain access, then unlock your way in is pretty special. The dark interior and the intimate seats were also very intriguing! That's where the attraction ended. We were rushed through the "Secret Menu" process so fumbled our way with it, only to be questioned by our server about what we wanted! She finally said she'd come up with something for us and went up to the bar, whispering to the bartender. We were a little taken aback! Our first drink arrived and was nothing really to write home about! We asked if we could move up to the bar as we were in a spot that was really tight and the chairs were quite uncomfortable. When we got to the bar it was evident the bartender was not happy! It definitely dampened the experience and made us quite uncomfortable. Our original server tried to smile through it but unfortunately the bartender was too vocal and determined to be heard. The drinks were just average bar drinks, nothing "speakeasy" special or secret. The drinks we had at The Curiosity Shop bar were far superior! We won't return and sadly can't recommend.

This rating is suppose to be 5 stars but the question above was "how would you rate your EXPERIENCE". First of 5 stars to the servers and mixologist who gave us our 2 drinks. I opted for both "secret menu" drinks and all my drinks were on point to what I opted for. The place WAS cozy and ambiance WAS great UNTIL3 stars... a group of people started joining a previously seated group and became overly noisy and belligerent.I blame the manager on this because there is a proper etiquette in a speakeasy otherwise go to a regular bar where people normally talk over each other. It was the manager who accommodated this group that had NO reservations until the last minute. The hotel has security for this kind of thing. I mean it is a speakeasy charging $ 25-50 a drink. But cmon people proper place and time. So please MANAGEMENT there is a group of people who opt to spend that kind of money for a nice cozy night please standby your rules and hopefully this does not ruin it for other people like it did for us.

We found the key to The Lock at Horseshoe! This was a lowkey speakeasy in The Cabinet of Curiosities. The Lock opens around 10pm, and you are transported to a vibey lounge. The music, ambiance, and cocktails were unique. I thoroughly enjoyed the "papa's brown butta" bourbon cocktail. This is a perfect night cap if you are at Paris or Horseshoe!

Great ambiance. Amazing experience and delicious cocktails!! Every speakeasy has its quirks and does things differently... which makes exploring every one of them more fun! Hubby and I loved the puzzle and small challenges we had to do before we were allowed in :) great experience. Love the intimate feel and how the whole experience continued with even making our drink choices a part of the experience. They had a "secret menu" questionnaire that one can choose to participate and the bartender can make a drink based off ur answers. Essentially, a dealers choice kind of drink. Anjela our bartender was engaging, fun, and attentive and more importantly, she made such a dangerous drink for me! lol! That drink was soooo good; I had a couple that my husband had to ask for the recipe. We will definitely be coming back here next time we're in Vegas

I have to say this is one of the best spots I've been to in Vegas. Reservations only, you can reserve on their website. The lock inside another bar which is nice if you want to chill at that bar first since the decor at the outside bar is different and they serve different drinks. When it's time for your reservations you will get a text informing you what to do. Going from there I won't say much else. Drinks are delicious. You get one from the menu and one that they can make to your liking, you aren't limited to two drinks but that's all we did as we had drinks outside prior.

The Lock has been on my radar for a while, so I decided to spoil myself on my birthday and book a table on a Tuesday afternoon. We had the entire place to ourselves! The green door, coded entry, Prohibition era music, secret menu, and the eclectic decor all lent to the authenticity of a 1920s speakeasy. The mixologist was a true artist. Her drinks were so delicious and well balanced. I asked her to make me something similar to a Paper Plane but without bourbon, and she came back with a tequila version that was NEXT LEVEL. We chose mid tier alcohol, so the cocktails were about $35 each. We enjoyed about 6 of them, and yes, it was definitely a splurge. Zero regrets. I'd go back again and again. I don't want to spoil the experience by giving too much away, but be prepared to put some thought into cracking the code. Pictures are not allowed in this portion. To get here, head toward the back of the Horseshoe. You'll see a sign that says Cabinet of Curiosities and it leads down the escalators. The Lock is located in the back of the bar. Oh, and thank you for the birthday shot!

We tried to visit on a past trip to Las Vegas but didn't have a reservation. On a whim we looked in a Monday evening and saw that they had plenty of times available so we headed down. Reservations do require a CC and a $25/person no show fee. The bar you enter through itself is a neat spot but we headed straight to the speakeasy phone. We picked it up and said we were there for a reservation, they gave a code word and instructed us to give it to the person when the peephole opened. We entered a room and were guided through a very simple puzzle (more like scavenger hunt) for a code. We opted for the "hard" way entrance and let's just say you might want to be flexible and ok with a small confined space. Once inside it was a dark vibe with leather seats, jazz music and black and white three stooges playing on the wall. We were seated and explained the two drink minimum process. One is off menu and one is custom based on your mood with 4 questions and a choice of tier ($25, $35, $50) for alcohol. All of our drinks were delicious. Since it was slow, we got a chance to spend a lot of time talking to the mixologist and moved to the bar to watch her make drinks for others and tell us about the process. It was super interesting and led to my partner ordering a second custom drink. It was one of the more unique experiences we've had in a cocktail lounge. Definitely recommend chatting with the mixologist. It can be a bit pricy depending on your tier of choice for the second drink and two drink minimum but worth the visit. I think we will definitely be returning on a future visit.

What is Vegas without a bar?!? Well this is not just a bar, this is a true speakeasy! While the front door is not hidden, there is a fun little "game" to get in. Once seated inside you order one drink from the menu, but the second is crafted specifically for your tastes based off a fun little questionnaire. It is a two drink minimum, but the hand crafted drinks we got were so good we ordered a third! The staff and mixologist were fun, let us watch them in action and ask some questions about the cocktails we watched being made. If you are looking for a fun chill vibe with amazing cocktails, grab a reservation here and enjoy!

We were looking for a new place in Vegas and decided to make reservations here. Getting into the bar area requires you to solve a couple puzzles. They are really easy but it also is fun. Once inside you have to get two drinks. The first drink you order off the menu and the second drink is customized for you by the mixologist. Both of my drinks were really good. The mixologist comes over for the second drink and describes what went into it and why she picked what she did. For the second drink, you also get to say what price tier you want. The drinks are typical cocktail prices for nice restaurants in Las Vegas. It was pretty empty and the mixologists invited us up to sit at the bar and watch her make drinks. It was a fun experience to learn about the different drinks and how age picks ingredients.
