Came to this area to visit a coffee shop, Vesta . Met people outside and they recommended we walk around and she the murals . I most def love doing that. Tons of restaurants and places to grab a drink. Not a lot of people walking around so def less congested than the strip of Fremont .

There's fantastic bars and breweries like Able Baker Brewing, VoodDoo Brewing Company, Nevada Brew Works, HUDL Brewing Company, Bar Ginza, Velveteen Rabbit, and Hop Nuts Brewing.Every First Friday of the month is a special event dedicated to supporting local artists, food, music, and culture. This is one of the newer Vegas spots off the strip that I can compare to San Diego's version of North Park but smaller. A lot of eclectic shops here for clothes, art, and they even have a recording studio set up here by one of the ZZ Top guys. There are a handful of micro breweries as well which a lot of locals were checking out. There are restaurants out here as well as I saw a bbq joint, a pizza spot, and a Mexican restaurant in passing. If the strip gets too hectic this is a good area to check out if you want a less fast paced vibe.

Highly recommend making a stop by this off strip location for a day of wondering & eating. There are street murals and galleries to check out... suggest The Arts Factory on the northern end of the area. But the cool part are the eats within the several blocks on and around Main St. You have pizza from Good Pie, brunch at Makers & Finders, to dinner at Esther's Kitchen. If sweets are more your speed, there is Freed's Dessert Shop and Cream Me ice cream shop. For micro-brew fans, there are several options along with a wine tasting room just a block over on California & Casino Center Blvd (which is a great area to park with a public paid lot). And, if you are in the district early, grab a cold brew at Vesta Coffee Roasters; it is delicious and refreshing. Also, beyond the eats & art, there is fun shopping in this area. There are vintage clothing shops to check out. Would definitely make a stop at the vintage t-shirt shop in the middle of the retail area, on my next visit to LV. Home furnishing from a couple of antique shops right on Main St. And, if it comes down to making a mark on your trip, there are a few tattoo shops... some things don't just stay in Las Vegas after a night of forgettable regrets ; P

There are a lot of stores and places to eat here. We spent 2 hours walking and buying some clothes in the stores in the area. Not a public restroom available. And the stores refused to allow the use of their restrooms. Had had to drive a distance to find a friendly restroom facility. Will not return to the area to shop. Not worth spending your money there if they are not friendly to their customers.
