This is a very chill spot on Fremont, about a 5 minute walk from the Experience. Full bar, open atmosphere and good food. I got the steak frites and the steak was cooked perfectly! The drinks are bomb too! Dive bar vibes on the inside, but open-air kitchen on the outside.Highly suggest this place!

I really want to like this place. I really really do. It just doesn't seem to be in the cards for me.I usually start and end my nights out at Atomic, so thought, "Why not get down with their kitchen part?" I've tried twice and both times was disappointed. The first time I got a burger, fries, and pretzel bites. The pretzel bites were served with nacho cheese, which was ok, but pretty generic. Pretzel bites with white queso or beer cheese...that's what we thought we were in for...not generic nacho cheese. I don't remember what the menu labeled it as, and unfortunately did not get a picture.I ordered the Atomic burger - because who doesn't want to try Atomic sauce? - and added bacon to it. The bacon was the issue. It had that weird crunch/texture to it where you bite and it kind of turns to ash in your mouth? Do you know what I'm talking about? It did that but with no flavor. It was super weird. THOSE PICKLES THOUGH!! They were so super yummy! The fries were weird too. They were like eating straw. I love shoestring fries, but these...you bite into them and they were basically hollow inside. We dipped them in the ranch, dipped them in the cheese, dipped them in ketchup...nothing was helping those fries. And then they got hard super fast. SMH.The next time around I ordered wings and chips and dip, specifically the corn salsa one.The wings were the best thing we had there, and I would probably order them again...but the chips and corn salsa...well...it was a little spicy but also had a different kind of flavor that, now here me out, kept confusing our taste buds. We could not decide if we liked it or not! It was just...different.I/we might go back to try their Sunday dinner thing, because like I said, I just really want to like this place, but so far, we will probably just order drinks while there...and probably just beers because that was something else. I love Moscow Mules, but theirs is REALLY spicy. I tried to ask if they could tone down the spice and was then told that the mix is pre-made....soooo gonna have to just not order them anymore...which is lame.

First of all, with a week after some of the world is open, the host was incredible. He was very informative professional & courteous. He asked if we could be patient, & went over some of the new rules that we all have to follow. It was very busy & yet social distancing was being practiced & enforced. To be honest, I'm not so sure I care that much, nevertheless it was nice to see they were doing a fine job. We were seated about 15 minutes after checking in & sat down with an incredible lady Devin (with an i). She was fun, informative, & very sweet. As for me, it was my first time at Atomic since I moved here two years ago & I can assure you it won't be my last. The drinks were delicious & the food was tasty. My beyond burger was so good I actually stopped & almost got upset because it tasted like real meat. Lol. It wasn't. Thanks Atomic, Door Host, & Devin with an i. Appreciate you all! Keep it up.

This is a hidden gem, seriously it is kind of hidden. Our group had just finished the safety brief for the Mint 400 race in the llama lot and we were looking to grab a bite before bed - Of course I took to Yelp to find the perfect spot.It doesn't look like much from the outside, in fact you think your going to a liquor store...and then there it is! There is a great outdoor seating area, but it was a little chilly the night we were there so we opted for indoors. Our server was attentive and gave us some great notes on appetizers and entrées. Drinks were a little slow but when they finally made it to the table they were perfect. No one had any complaints about their food, I had the steak and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly! I would have never thought I'd find a meal like this, in a location like this, but if you find yourself in the llama lot, like I did, check out the Kitchen at Atomic

Atomic KitchenI visited the "Zagat" website to see if any new or interesting restaurants may have opened recently. I was surprised that Atomic Liquor opened "The Kitchen at Atomic".The Zagat website offers an image of the restaurant interior. It is accurate, and better than one that I can offer. (I am providing an exterior image.) It's a sizable dining room. There are a lot of hard surfaces, so I imagine the place can get noisy when filled. Seat placement is not packed too tightly; and while not plush, it is comfortable. There is outdoor seating, as well.A "sample" menu is available on the business's website. However, the menu apparently is subject to regular change--perhaps to prevent the menu from being too predictable, and provide regulars a reason to come in more often. For my meal, I had one of the evening's specials: Tagliatelle; braised pork shoulder ragu, Pomodoro, Parmesan Reggiano ($20). It was an a la carte main course--no sides. Perception of portion size is subjective, but for my purposes, it was "just right". However, if you are dining as a group, I can see how the serving size will encourage the purchase of add-ons--such as salads or appetizers. The pasta was prepared very well--al dente. The sauce was prepared from scratch; it was a bit tart, versus sweet. The protein content was adequate--more to accentuate the dish, rather than be a featured ingredient. All in all, a very good dish, presented well. With the kitchen running so well, I was surprised how uneven the service was in the front of the house. I ate alone at the bar, and it wasn't too busy. It took a long while for the bartender to notice and acknowledge me. Service remained spotty after that. I took the opportunity to observe staff at work, and I began to wonder if service levels would fall if the restaurant had been busier.Atomic LiquorAfter dinner, I decided to have a drink at Atomic Liquor. I like the ambiance and the history. I like the available selection of craft beers. However, service was spotty here, too.Maybe I visited on an "off" night--so don't feel put off. The first meal I had was nice enough that I will make a follow-up visit.kitchenatatomic.vegas

Food was ok. The cheese steak gave me the runs though. Service was lacking as it took 20-30 minutes for the waitress to come by. Honestly just go somewhere else.

Full Disclosure: I came here anticipating that this was the Atomic Liquors saloon of yore. Turns out, I wasn't far off, but the 'Kitchen' boasts a full dinner menu (which looks really decent) and a more upscale bar that still keeps things down to earth.I had the Gunslinger and it was delicious. The bartender said it was their most ordered cocktail, and I can see why. It's whiskey-forward, but the rest of the flavors blend so well. It doesn't come across as cloyingly sweet, but it does drink quite nicely. The flambeed orange zest was the perfect touch. If I come back here for dinner, I'll definitely update the review, but the food looked pretty solid. For a hipster-level bar scene without the pretentiousness, though, it wins major marks.

I haven't stopped by The Kitchen at Atomic since before the shut down. I am happy to see one of Las Vegas' oldest bars keeping up with public safety. You can enter from the just Kitchen side or from the Bar side. We were here for second dinner AKA when the first place didn't fill you up.Place was not so busy in the dine in area but the bar not at the kitchen was pretty busy- everyone separated at least six feet.We sat inside just us and were served by many nice women. I was seated with a view of the kitchen and it was cool seeing the lone chef whip up our dinner: garbage fries and the spicy chicken sandwich. Food was good. I liked the garbage fries a lot which was drowning in cheese sauce. We had a couple cocktails and beer. Granted we were the only ones in the kitchen side of things the staff was amazing. Just the communication on how they'd like us to enjoy things safely was really nice. I've dined out a few times since this current phase of things started and give them a great nod to communicating safety in a casual yet effective way that isn't invasive. Manners go a long way.The chef even came out to ask how everything was.We were literally there sharing an app, splitting an entree, and only having one drink each and we had an amazing experience from entering to leaving.I wish everyone working well and I wish Atomic well during this time. They definitely deserve all the business they can get. Thank you for making us feel safe while dining at your establishment during such an unprecedented time.

Came in on Friday night after seeing this place had good reviews. Upon arrival, the place was busy. There was confusion between the staff if there was a private party. They settled on no and took our (5 of us) food order. After 45 minutes, they informed us that they had no burgers, although half of our order, was not burgers. They did offer to comp our 2 cocktails, however, it took them 45 minutes to realize they were out of burgers. We were all starving and we could've gone somewhere else in the 45 minutes it took for them to realize they had no burgers. Extremely disappointing from a place we had high hopes for. 0/10
