The Gourmet Room

The Gourmet Room is an absolute gem and a must-stop when visiting Laughlin. Start your evening in the lounge area, where you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink while taking in some of the best views in town. The dining area is beautifully appointed, exuding a charming old-style ambiance that sets the tone for a special evening. Their entrées are consistently excellent, and the soups are simply wonderful. The tableside Caesar salad is a standout - you truly can't go wrong with it. Our friends rave about the frog legs and escargot, which are prepared to perfection. The staff is incredibly helpful, adding to the overall experience. A special shoutout to Tommy, the maître d', whose presence adds a welcoming touch to this outstanding restaurant.If you're in Laughlin, don't miss the opportunity to dine here. It was an ok experience. Food was ok. Service was ok. Restaurant was ok. Nothing was bad, but nothing was write home about either.

Great food & service. Table-side lamb chops were delicious! Beautiful view of the river. Would be great at sunset.

The gourmet room is trying to real hard to be a upscale restaurant service was very good the food on the other hand was just average. Let's start with French onion soup wouldn't order it again it was not hot and the taste was not the best broth I have ever had. The seafood platter was a couple shrimp and crab knuckles shredded crab meat and langoustine not bad. The salad was a spring mix with house dressing. I had the steak Diane tender beef covered in brown gravy and mushrooms wife had the filet both were decent nothing exceptional served with Boc choy baby carrot and a sweet mustard tasting potato. Overall ok dinner but Not going to rush back. Had the prime rib room the night before right on par with that.

When in Laughlin, a must do dinner is the Gourmet Room. Reservations are highly recommended. The best tables are along the windows that provide a spacious view of the Colorado River and Bullhead City, AZ. On this night we were treated to a moon rise. Charlie is a long time server and provides excellent service. We ordered Filet Mignon, 8 oz. Escargot, Lobster Bisque, Salad and a single 7 oz. Lobster Tail. All entrees include a choice of soup or salad. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. A touch of sherry in the Lobster Bisque was very tasty. The sorbet was refreshing.

Even though the dining experience was very good overall, we were actually somewhat disappointed in our last visit here. I had to send the first bowl of French Onion Soup Gratinee back to the kitchen because it hardly had any cheese or broth in it, and the large crouton was sunken in the bowl. The replacement was fine. And Red Pepper Bisque with Beef was a nice and well-prepared alternative. Novel Corkscrew Calamari Fritti was good, but the shrimps in Shrimp Cocktail Supreme were chewy this time. An included Salad with Bleu Cheese Dressing and Blue Cheese Crumbles was as good as ever. And my entree of Chicken Cordon Brie was an unusual but tasty change of pace. Diane's entree of Les Coquilles Saint Jacques was good but with smaller shrimps and scallops than previously provided. Service was very good, and the ambiance excellent.

My family went to dinner at The Gourmet Room and we were blown away by this meal. The service was impeccable, the food quality was incredible and the view of the river was unbeatable. My mom and I ordered the Roasted Rack of Lamb Provençal for two. Our entree was served tableside and our plates were prepared right in front of us. The flavor was absolutely amazing with the lamb cooked to a perfect medium rare. The meat had a subtle Dijon herb crust and rosemary garlic au jus. Nearly all restaurants that offer lamb never provide a mint jelly, which is a to die for pairing with lamb and always overlooked but The Gourmet Room knows this delicious combination is a must have. I thought the best lamb I have ever eaten was at Morton's but this lamb was better by far. Our server Brandon was such a sweetheart and so attentive. We were never made to wait and he made us feel like the only ones in the dining room. I would also like to praise the chef who prepared all of our meals. The management of this restaurant should be proud of the staff who highlight the standard of excellence at the best dining experience in Laughlin.

What a beautiful view! We were lucky enough to sit down at our table and enjoy our meal, as we enjoyed the view of the bright, big, full moon. The food was delicious, I ordered eggplant parmesan and my fiancé a steak. The steak was so buttery and delicious! We also enjoyed a Caesar salad, freshly prepared table side. Our waiter was very attentive. Over all the service was excellent.

Service good. Today was special Thanking menu turkey and ham dinner was ok but the seafood Alfredo was very disappointing. Greatly over rated and over priced for the money. Just a disappointing experience.

Tom always makes sure that we can get in even at short notice and always makes sure we have an amazing table next to the river. Service is always perfection and food is delicious and prepared with full attention to detail. It is our must go to place when we are in Laughlin.
