If you're in Las Vegas and craving something sweet, Summer House Cookie Bar is a hidden gem you don't want to miss! I stopped by recently, and wow--everything about this place is a treat for your taste buds. The Oreo Rice Krispy Treat was an absolute dream! Imagine the perfect balance of gooey marshmallow goodness with crunchy Oreo pieces in every bite. It's a nostalgic twist that's completely elevated. Pair that with the Horchata Latte, and you've got the ultimate combo. The latte was creamy, perfectly spiced, and just sweet enough--a total game-changer for coffee lovers. The staff here was super friendly and helpful, answering all my questions and giving great recommendations. The cozy vibe of the shop made it even better--it's a perfect spot to grab a quick pick-me-up or relax for a bit.Whether you're a dessert fanatic or just looking for a unique treat, Summer House Cookie Bar is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back and try more of their creations!

After a fantastic experience at The George, we decided to satisfy our sweet tooth with a visit to the Cookie Bar at Summer House. The display was definitely appealing--every cookie looked picture-perfect. Wanting to keep it classic, we went with two chocolate chip cookies, expecting something warm, rich, and satisfying.Unfortunately, they didn't live up to the presentation. Despite looking delicious, the taste was underwhelming--far from the indulgent, high-quality treat we had hoped for. At $5-$6 per cookie, we expected much better flavor and texture. Definitely not worth the price, and sadly, we wouldn't go out of our way to try them again.Would love to see some improvements because the concept and presentation are there, but the execution just didn't deliver.

Love the cookie bar! Today I got the peanut butter cup cookie. I ate half & took the other half home because it's giant. They have a beautiful display of all the cookies. They all look yummy, it's hard to choose.

Super cute shop just outside of Summer House. Always tempted to stop and try a cookie or two so I finally did. I really wanted to like this cookie bar. So many great choices including frosted lemon cookie, birthday cookie, oatmeal scotchie, apple oatmeal, vegan snickerdoodle and more.I decided to try the peanut butter which was actually tasty, but a little hard around the edges. The sea salt chocolate chip was not good. Too much salt on top and the chips were not totally melted. I think part of the problem is when you display cookies or any other baked goods in the desert, they dry out very quickly thus taking away the soft, chewy cookie you are craving. If the cookies were placed in a more humid environment they would probably taste a whole lot better. Service was sufficient but not overly friendly or welcoming. I did not try their drinks but have heard from a fellow Yelper that they are not that great. Maybe I will try them again when I can grab one fresh from the oven!

When the other coffee spots don't offer cookies, you make a beeline for this one.The Cookie Bar at Summer House is a little counter at the front of the restaurant proper. It's in the far corner of the Durango casino from the food court, so you can work up a bit of an appetite just walking here. There was a bit of a line when we stopped in, but it moved quickly enough since it's built just for takeout orders. There are a variety of cookies and other desserts, but we wanted cookies. The Apple Oatmeal ($5.45) seemed very interesting at first and did end up being the better cookie of the day. It's just an oatmeal cookie with some apple that's more of a dehydrated texture. The Sea Salt Chocolate Chip ($4.95) sounded great, but the top half is somehow underbaked and the salt is too heavy-handed. It's a bit of a mess.I do think that the coffee is a passable choice as they have La Colombe on draft. They were out of the nitro version, but the Pure Black Cold Brew ($5.95) is good. It's not too acidic or bitter, and it drinks very well. They add a big helping of ice to it though, and I'm not sure whether you can ask them to tone it down since I expect cold brew not to be served with ice. It's just a stingy cost-controlling tactic that waters down the product.I will consider trying The Cookie Bar at Summer House again if I'm at Durango Resort, but I'll have to be far more discerning with my ordering.

I love cookies, I love coffee, and I'm a fan of the new Durango Station casino, but the Cookie Bar was a bit of a "miss" for me. Granted, I went only a few weeks after they first opened the resort, so I'll give the place another try at some point. But what I found was a place that sold mediocre, overpriced cookies and bland coffee. The cookies are on display in a gorgeous glass case, and they all look so good! My mom was visiting and it was during the holidays, so we decided to splurge and I got 4 cookies for around $20. With prices like other gourmet cookie shops like Crumbl, I was expecting a nice box to keep my cookies safe. Nope. They were thrown in a plain white bag, where they got mushed and broken on the way home. Not good. I also ordered a cappuccino because they had skim milk (unlike the other coffee bars on property). It was also too pricey for the quality. I drank most of it, but I left unimpressed. We didn't try the assortment of cookies until we got home, and the best thing these baked goods have going for them is the size. They are massive and are ridiculously large enough to share. But do they taste good? No. I was so excited about the oatmeal scotchie, and it was so dry and sweet that one bite was enough. The chocolate cloud was devoid of any rich chocolate flavor, and the classic chocolate chip was also very hard. I like dense, chewy cookies, but these were so hard that they tasted old. The rainbow sprinkle cookie was like sandpaper. These cookies would benefit from some frosting. $20 worth of cookies went uneaten, which made me sad. We consumed them within one hour after purchase, and then nobody ever touched them again. I'm not a fan of this place, I'm sorry to say.

I got their chocolate chip cookie with rice krispies on top along with an oat milk cold brew. Their cold brew was delicious and strong, however, their cookie was a big disappointment. I was casually walking through the casino to get to the back parking lot, pulling off the rice Krispy toppings and eating them. They were fine, but when I got to the actual cookie, no bueno. I took one bite and was done. I feel like they don't use butter in their recipe. It didn't have that delicious buttery, crispy yet chewy taste like when you make cookies from scratch at home. Service was excellent and the place looked clean, but I'd never come back for a cookie.

Yooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.I can't express how high cookies rank in my all-time fave snack list. If I had to choose between a cake and a cookie, I might pick the cookie. If I can only live with rice or cookies and had to pick one. I'd pick the cookie and be disappointing all my fellow Asians out there. You get the point. The display is impeccable. But, it's not just the looks. These cookies come throughhhhhhhh. I'm a lover of chocolate chip cookies, but seriously sometimes my love goes out to the oatmeal raisin. And when it's a combo of both, forgettaboutit! Oatmeal Scotchie-- 5/5 a solid choice if you're an oatmeal cookie lover with butterscotch chocolate. Just like the name, duh. Ginger snap- 5/5 it was cookie of the month. My fave ginger molasses used to be from Milk on La Brea avenue (IYKYK) back in the days before they discontinued. And i may have FINALLY found a match. No molasses, but the ginger isn't overpowering. Wait. If you eat it on an empty stomach, it's a bit intense. Oreo rice crispy treat- 5/5 How you do it, chef? Sometimes these gigantic rice crispy treats get super hard or get stale. But THIS?!!!!! It's perfection. The rice crispies were not soggy, marshmallow had the most perfect pull texture. And, it's also a brown butter base rice crispy so dayam, why not get the Oreo one. Solid choice. I just told my friend recently that I'd give up both ovaries for these crispy treats. That's kinda high up in my personal ranking. Don't come for me. Krispy Cookie- 4/5 stars. Have you ever had a nose bleed from eating too much chocolate? That's what the sugar rush was like. There's mini rice crispy pieces on top. It's got some Heavy pieces of chocolate inside. They're THIIIIIICK and a chunky boyyyyy. Next on my try-list is the walnut chocolate chip cookie, peanut butter and probably the apple oatmeal. Definitely grabbing the rice Krispy again. Had a brief convo with Michael the manager who was sweeping the floor. The pastry chef isn't well known but lady, you're a true hero.My only complaint is WHY DO YOU CLOSE SO EARLY? I wish they were open late. Like24 hours. I'd be there at 2am.

On a cold winter night, we were checking out the newly-opened Durango Station and wanted something warm to drink. We saw that the hot drinks were cheaper here at The Cookie Bar compared to the other coffee shop in the casino, so we waited in line and admired the cookies behind the glass. My husband ordered a hot Matcha Latte with oatmilk and I ordered a hot Chai Tea Latte with almond milk. Despite there being a line, we waited no more than 5 minutes for our drinks.I found the Chai Tea Latte to be very spicy; the cinnamon flavor overpowered everything. However, this might be due to substituting the oatmilk with almond milk, as I know oatmilk gives a creamier taste to everything. If I were to order this again, I would try it with oatmilk inside. With the almond milk, I give this drink a 2.5 out of 5 as the cinnamon was too much for me. I do not recommend this with almond milk!My husband's Matcha Latte had a very strong and earthy matcha taste, much like the matcha drinks in Japan that focus more on bitterness rather than sweetness. If you are inclined to bitter matcha, this is definitely the drink for you. Since I like bitter matcha, I give this drink a 4 out of 5.Despite not liking the Chai Tea Latte with almond milk, I am willing to give their other drinks another try. The price point of these drinks are also quite reasonable for being in a casino.

Summer House Cookie bar was fun & yummy. We got the birthday cookie w sprinkles (a little hard & sugary) & chocolate chip cookie which was so good! Also, the cookies are bigger than my hand, no GIGANTIC. And for coffee, we got the recommended iced black & tan cold brew. Service was quick and the girls were super friendly. It's a cookie bar, how could it not be fun & cute?!
