The Cask

I simply love the Cask. I attend Happy Hour here and I always enjoy the ambience and service. Marc is wonderful and is always in a great mood. They have a wide variety of wine and spirits. They also have a great selection of whiskeys. Marc recommend Writers Tears and it is probably the smoothest whiskey I have ever had. This is a great neighborhood wine bar and Marc greets all customers with a smile and hello.

I was invited to a small event by a friend of mine at The Cask. The shop is very cute and we had a beautiful long table set up for us. I was excited to check out the array of wines but there was a gentleman working there that made that impossible. His behavior was abhorrent to every single one of us. He was nasty, rude, and clearly did not want us there. At first I didn't say anything but soon there were whispers all around our table about how horrible this man was. I didn't bring it up to the host that day but speaking with her today I learned she too was disappointed with how we were treated. And he was in fact the owner. With that being said there was a huge selection of wine but concerning customer service...very unsettling and scary behavior.

Went to our first, and will return for many, tasting events here at the Cask. Today the feature spirits were additive free Agave Spirits! We entered and were checked in and immediately greeted with a Cocktail of the day,a Paloma. It was a refreshing and delightful mix of Tequila Plata and Pink Grapefruit juice. Then we mingled amongst others, casually sampling Tequila's and Mezcal's at will. Each brand had a representative to share with us the stories, traditions and passions of the Distilleries. This is a beautiful boutique shop that carries mostly smaller batch expressions and small family distilleries. The event was great and atmosphere was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the event and look forward to the next one!

My wife and I love The Cask. I consider myself knowledgeable about Wine and Spirits but their Staff has repeatedly demonstrated that they have probably forgotten more about the subject than I will ever know... especially Marc (Owner). When we need an item that is hard to find... Marc always comes through. Their events are carefully curated and they ALWAYS provide top-notch service. We always recommend them.

Tremendous service, tremendous selection and all around fun and relaxing environment. I hosted an event at The Cask a few days ago and it was a gigantic hit. Affordable as well. The staff was attentive and bent over backwards to ensure our guests were comfortable and having fun. Highly recommend!

The Cask is the perfect spot to find a unique wine for yourself or as a gift. The helpful employees are a huge part of what makes this store special.They're located in a corner spot in a shopping center at Stephanie and 215. The shop is very simply designed. The wines are organized by type of wine. In the back are a couple of refrigerated cases of beer and wine. It's easy to find what you're looking for and free of clutter. There are two things that make this shop really special. First, the great customer service and help they provide in choosing a good wine. Second, their unique selection. All of their wines are from small wineries and they don't carry anything you'd find at larger stores. These are the two things that make them my "go to" for gifts. When I hear boutique I think expensive, but they have a whole variety of price points. They have plenty of wines as low as $20-$30. I have purchased several at this price point and found them to be good wines. The last time I picked a wine they offered options from $20-$100. They offer a lot of tastings and events that sound fun. They post information about these events on Instagram. The Cask is definitely worth a stop if you love wine or have the occasion to gift someone else some wine.

If you are like me and know nothing about wine other than If it's good then it's good, you will like this place. You will like it even if you know stuff too. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They sell by the glass or flight if you want to try while shopping. We were in a ref sort of mood, she got one I got another, both were fantastic. They have a selection that is different than what you see in those mega stores, and they tell the story.Added plus, one of our favorite take out options is right next door. Glad we were early and decided to stick our head in.

Marc at The Cask Wine Store organized an absolutely delightful Rhone Valley wine tasting for my family, and it was truly a wonderful evening! The selection of wines was exceptional, perfectly paired with delicious charcuterie. Marc's knowledge and attention to detail made the experience even more special. His wine store is one-of-a-kind, offering an outstanding selection of high-quality wines. Highly recommend visiting The Cask for anyone who loves great wine and a personalized experience!

I had a stressful day and needed a bottle of red for the evening. Upon entering the store- Marc (I assume the owner) helped me to pick one right away and it was perfect!! Very cute small store. I unfortunately didn't have much time to look around and to take pictures- but will for sure in the future! Marc was super attentive and recommended me dishes to pair with the wine he chose for me. I can see he is very knowledgeable and passionate about items he sell. Can't wait to have mini date with my husband or girlfriends to have some wine tasting and charcuterie board at The Cask. The Cask is a great place to stop to have a glass of wine, shop for wine / beer / liquor, and / or enjoy a tasting event. I have always had great service and Marc the owner is very personable and attentive. I highly recommend stopping by the cask and checking it out.
