The Butcher Block

I went to look around as I typically don't go to butcher shops (I typically purchase proteins from grocery stores).It was very clean and organized. A lot of space for customers to move around and browse. They offer a vast variety of proteins, and products such as marinades, rubs, oils, herbs, BBQ grilling utensils, and even charcoal and wood chips. Oddly enough, I did not see any grill wood pellets (which is what would have been my specific interest).My visit was by chance so I was just browsing (it is near a restaurant that was my actual destination). If I would have been going home afterwards I might have purchased some proteins, but not today. Still, a very nice store and I was impressed. There were several other customers there at the time, so it seems popular.

A great local place to get awesome steaks, burgers and hot dogs! The service is quick and friendly. Great atmosphere is typical of a butcher shop. Amazing! Give them a try. Great prices!!

Upon shopping at the butcher block in Henderson, Nevada, just before Thanksgiving we realize that this was a hidden gem for procuring meat products of every type. They provide beef, pork, lamb, and poultry products that are very high-quality. They're very customer service oriented, and very polite when dealing with their customers. The store is very inviting and has a lot of other products other than meat such as ready, made, salads, and deli items.

We've just purchased twice, yet both times were outstanding. We first purchased their steakburger. Wow - that was just amazing. My wife and I enjoyed every bite. The second time we purchased a couple of pork chops. Again, this was mouth-watering meat. The meat in this story is truly top-shelf.We look forward to eating our way through every shelf. Also - the employees have been friendly and knowledgeable. SUCH a great Butcher Shop.

Finally made it here and wasn't disappointed. Jake was helpful and knowledgeable. Loved the selection and seeing things I'd heard of but never seen in person, and also learning about different meats and varieties. They can order things you don't see as long as it's legal lol. Didn't get anything, more browsing, but will be back and purchasing for the grill this summer. HIGHLY recommend if you're more particular about sourcing and traceability.

The only place to get meat. Only the best cuts and best service ever. As we have seen this ship grow over the past year we are excited to see what will be available next. Hope that the smoked ribs come back because we missed out on the last round. If you can't find it in the case ask, custom cuts can be asked for.

Very expensive but quality cuts of meat. Two of the best steaks I've cooked have been purchased here. Half of the staff seem to really know their stuff while the other half give very surface level advice. I'm not sure when they expanded but it is twice the size of when I was last there which is good bc it seems like they have more options to choose from. I wish I made more so I could go here more but maybe also they could lower their prices a bit.

The selection of meats here is a carnivore's dream. Exotic or down home..... prices are comparable to supermarkets but the quality is WAY better. Customer service was outstanding. Greeted upon arrival. Good chat with whom I now believe to be the owner. Custom order ready in 5 minutes. These guys ROCK!!!!
