HOMETOWN HEROES NIGHT AT THE BULLRING.....Forgot to checkin while there but oh well. First time out here to the Bullring, neighbors have been out before, this was my first time and it was to celebrate our First Responders. It's like a family night each time they hold these events made up of a variety of cars, some look like the big boys but most are modified, or box cars and what's really awesome, the drivers are dependingOn the race are made up of kids driving, from 8yr olds to 16yr olds...These are future NASCAR drivers for sure. The Bush brothers made their start here as well as others. It was a fun night with lots of racing and fun fans.If you've never been, look up the Bullring and find out the next race and come out. Tickets are $10 but they offer discounts for Military & Seniors. They have concession stands which are not unreasonable and a corn dog food truck which also serves fingers and fries. Overall it was a great time. The seats are bleacher seats but they also have a tailgate area. I will definitely go again and if you've not been you should as well. It's a cheap fun night, the weather was awesome and to see kids race at high speeds is awesome.

Great way to spend the evening. The races start out with smaller/slower cars and gradually build up to the big boys and their toys. First time seeing 'skid plate' racing. Very odd, but exciting at the same time. Also, a big plus on my list......FREE PARKING

I have been coming to the Bullring for years. Since the time that the backstretch was actually the front and the stands faced the setting sun. Those were the days before real restrooms and snack stands were built. And if you look closely at the back stretch you can see where the old victory lane was. History is awesome. Now that your history lesson is over, lets talk about the present. The Bullring is still a top notch racing facility. Being a 3/8 mile oval means that there is not a bad seat in the house. There is one seat in particular that I prefer and it is up where the benches have backs. That starts around row 15. Below that and you have no back support. Still, you can see the entire track from wherever you choose to sit. There is plenty to see here. So many different classes of racecars. From a young age, kids start in the Bandelero class. Then they might move up to the Legends and Thunder Cars. From there you have the Bombers (my favorite), the Super Stocks, Modifieds (loud and fast), and Late Models. There is no shortage of racing action. On any given Saturday you will see qualifying, heat races, trophy dashes and feature races. There are touring series like USAC Midget cars and last night had the North American Big Rigs. It was almost hard to see these trucks hauling a$$ through all their exhaust. Then on special nights you might get a demolition derby, waterless boat races (cars towing boats with no trailer), monster trucks, drift cars, and a jet powered dragster that melts another car. The fireworks on the track may even transfer to the sky for a fireworks show to end the evening. I am speaking of course of the annual Night of Fire held every year on July 3rd. This is the summer send off at the Bullring and one that is worth the trip. It is excitement galore. The magic here is that the Bullring has stayed open through tough economic times. When other tracks across the country have either closed or delayed opening, the Bullring has remained steady. Inflation has dictated higher ticket prices and the end of $1 hot dogs (now $2) and $1 beers (now $2 or $3). It is still an affordable way to entertain yourself for a few hours at a time. It is still cheaper than a two hour movie with a large popcorn and Coke and a night at the Bullring lasts three times as long.

Great little track next to the LV Speedway. We were afraid that we wouldn't see 4th of July Fireworks on the strip (which we didn't - Only Stratosphere had them) and decided to do something different. We were treated to a great 3 hour event. Multiple races and fun time. Loved the trailer races at the end and the fireworks were amazing. Grandstands were metal so bring a pillow next time. But overall a great experience for all. Only thing sucked was $4.00 waters. We asked for ice. Told "no." It was 106 outside. They kept telling us over the loud speaker to hydrate or see the ambulance by turn 1 if your not feeling good. Try lowering the water price or turning on the water fountains !! You would of received 5 stars !!

Me and my family love the Bullring! The night of fire is our favorite event, the firework show is absolutely amazing. It's always a great time watching the races and enjoying it with family and friends. The different race series keeps it interesting and fun, esp to see the young kids racing and the joy they get when they win, is a great sight to see!

I just love coming here! Since I'm not really too into the whole casino or club scene, I'd definitely consider this to be one of the very best vales in all of Las Vegas! Most events only cost $10 and the concession stand has great deals as well such as $1 hot dogs and $2 beers on Whelen All American nights! Also, parking is free! Just don't forget to bring a pair of ear plugs!

I went to the Bullring recently for the July 4 event. The races were good, but the time between races is way too long. It would be nice to have the time between races significantly reduced, to speed up the show. Second, the crowd was large and overflow parking had to be used near gate 4. As a result, our older group had a 25 minute walk. This length of a walk is ridiculous, especially for older folks. There was no shuttle in sight and on the return to my vehicle, security told me there was no shuttle available and they did not care about our orthopedic aliments within our group. This is concerning for an ADA violation. Last, after nearly a half hour walk to return to our vehicle, the last 5 minutes of the walk was in total darkness. There was no over head lights and no generators with lights in this area of the parking lot. It was difficult to see the uneven ground, which was not paved. This is another concern for liability at the Bullring. Unfortunately, the lack of adequate parking and security guards who were clueless about why the shuttle was not operating precludes my interest in going to the Bullring again.
