Service was great, food was delicious and vibe was nice. I was a bit bummed that we were seated in a bar area booth instead of the main dining room with live music, but watching the bar patrons was it's own entertainment.Had the Caesar salad, fettuccine Primavera, lasagna, tirimisu and a couple of glasses of wine. Good portions and all very tasty. This place is popular, so definitely recommend making reservations a couple of days ahead.

This was our late nite go-to spot when we used to be tourists many many years ago. We loved the old school vibe and Italian food that you'd imagine being made by a gangsta's mom.it's very similar to Capo's and Cafe Di Amore. This was our first visit post Covid Era. We stopped by for a late lunch and ordered from the dinner menu. That's how we roll.We ordered our favs the Fried Calamari, the Hose Specialty aka Seafood Fra Diavolo, and the Pappadelle Bolognese. There is free bread service here some sort of baked garlic bread with some marinara sauce for dipping. It was meh. Long gone are the Garlic Knots drenched in Olive Oil, herbs, and lots of garlic. The Fried Calamari was good but the pieces were really small. It was good but I I remember it was betterThe House Specialty was full of fresh Seafood but it was not spicy although we ordered it spicy. We loved the brothy sauce. The Pappadelle Bolognese was made with Fresh Pasta and it was drenched in rich Bolognese sauce that tasted like it has been simmering for hours. Pro tip: Skip the Parmesan Cheese. Otherwise it will be too salty. The service was really good .

I had their calamari as an appetizer. Love, love, love their calamari fritti.. the dipping sauce for that and their free bread bites is out of this world. I had the linguini and clams but always substitute with angel hair pasta and I never have a problem with this. It was delicious as always. My husband had the roughy fish plate and moved it. Their drinks are great, not watered down at all. If my diet allowed me to eat here every week, I would.

Exceptional!!! First time at this family-owned restaurant. My overall impression is that it was a very busy and welcoming lively restaurant, rich with long history. I ordered their cheese raviolis, and it was mouthwatering deliciousness! The pasta and sauce tasted fresh and flavorful. Their iced tea was very good, and the service was extremely attentive and excellent! The prices can't be beat! Very reasonably priced for what you get. Definitely worth it, and I'm a food snob! It's away from the hustle and bustle of the strip and easy to find and get to. Free ample parking. If you want inexpensive yummy Italian food, fun atmosphere, with off the hook customer service, go to The Bootlegger! Old-school vibes! I had a phenomenal experience! I'm coming back! You are going to have an amazing experience! You'll thank me later.....

Perfect setting to satisfy my Italian craving.I prefer off-strip dining to avoid tourist scene (and parking $$), and The Bootlegger was recommended while dining elsewhere the night prior. The bar top is my scene, even if video gaming is present. Drop a $20, play some blackjack, and get comp'ed on my wine... and hopefully get a return on investment. HahaI opted for cheese ravs with meat sauce and an added meatball, which hit the spot. Great service from the team of JJ and Nicole! The venue was busy. It seems to attract the wandering tourist seeking the Italian gangster vibe along with Italian comfort food. My guess would be to get a rezzy if in the dining room.

A group of 11 of us went to this iconic restaurant after a friend's funeral service yesterday. I haven't been here several years and it's still as charming as it was a few years ago. Our server started out with a negative vibe and I'm not sure why. I wanted to order a nice cab to start, but I was told that they didn't have a wine list with glasses of wine only bottles and I just wasn't happy with that answer. Next thing I know it one of the other diners sat there with a wine list looking at which wine he was gonna have by theg. I inquired about this with the waiter and he proceeded to tell me oh I never said we didn't have wine by the glass. OK, not a great way to start after you just leave a funeral, but I'll chalk it up to inexperience. I believe his name was Matt, but I'm not sure. Anyway, onto the food. They have a very nice lunch menu of which I chose a lighter version lunch, which was baked penne pasta with a side Caesar salad. The sauce was delicious and the pasta was not overcooked. Everyone chose something different and when I took a general consensus, everyone seemed happy with their choice. We had entrées ranging from a Philly cheesesteak sandwich to the bootlegger burger to a wedge salad with salmon, which was amazing. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I'd be happy to recommend it to someone looking for some authentic Italian food Las Vegas.

The hospitality provided by the staff here was beyond my expectations, right away upon seating i was handed a towel to set on my lap and the waiter personally waited until it was on my lap to finally pour the bottled water in my glass and walk away. I ordered the " Seafood Fra Diavolo with sauce Rosé" accompanied by the "Blood Orange Cosmo", The seafood fra diavolo dish was cooked perfectly Al Dante with generous portions of clams, calamari, lobster, mussels and jumbo shrimp. I would say it was a bit too "soupy" when it came down to the sauce IMO, however i really enjoyed the flavor of my dish all together. There was a live piano, singing and saxophone performance while i was enjoying my dish, you can't top that! Overall with the great customer service, ambiance and performance i honestly can't deny i enjoyed my visit here and would definitely come back again!

This was our first time going to The Bootlegger in Vegas and we were looking forward to it. We came in back on July 29th for dinner around 7:30pm and first impressions was that this place is huge with so much space. I ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese which was really good and tasty. Our server for that evening was Richard E. and he was really nice, professional and just informative on the food and everything else. We were seated next to the live music which was nice and made for a very festive evening. Everyone enjoyed the food and hospitality and we will indeed return.

he Bootlegger Italian Bistro is a beautiful Italian restaurant that's perfect for family dinners, catching up with friends, hosting business associates, or a romantic date night. The ambiance is classic and charming, with a rich history tied to famous guests like Bugsy Siegel, Howard Hughes, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Liberace, The Rat Pack, and other Vegas headliners. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled with the variety of options available. There are also some nice vegan choices and gluten-free options, making it a great spot for diverse dietary needs. I had the eggplant parmesan, paired with a glass of pinot grigio, and both were absolutely delicious. I also tried a bite of my daughter's tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal.We were seated in the room with the piano, and the live music added something really special to the experience. The pianist was talented and engaging, creating a fun yet relaxed atmosphere. If I lived in Vegas, this would definitely be one of my go-to spots. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. We'll be back the next time we're visiting family in town.

We were invited to their Customer Appreciation Party last Sunday, 2/2. Bootleggers really knows how to take care of their patrons. What a class event. It was so well planned and managed by their staff. In particular bartenders Jason and Nicole made us feel special. The entire bar was set up for the party with balloons and name placards at all the seats. There was an excellent buffet and individual gifts for everyone. We highly recommend this Las Vegas treasure.
