Tasty Island Jamaican Restaurant

Guy manning the register was a bit stand offish but it was towards the end of the day so I get it.Overall the food was bomb! Ordered to go with some oxtails, a side of jerk wings three chicken pattys and of course... you gotta do the ginger beer soda... I'll be back for the curry and fried fish for sure

First I would like to say this is the worst Jamaican food in the city The service and the food are shitty and not only that they are taxing for food they don't even make fresh daily not only that but the flavor isnt there my food looked cold the guy at the counter was short and dry and they never gave me my drink I paid for. Jamaican vybz is way better they just in the opposite side of town. Bring back real carribean food! This is the last time I support this bad business

Ohh my goodness this place is amazing and I enjoyed every single bite. Yummmm delicious. I loved the Bob Marley theme. The service was very nice. I will be back.

It was delicious an the ox tails had more then enough meat on it. I loved the way the goat curry tasted as well. I also tried the rum punch which definitely had a kick. I mean punch. 9/10 would recommend

Luscious... that's the word that comes to mind .... I always get the same thing.... OXTAILS!'n the rice and peas, the plantains ...delicious.. this is the spot for your Jamaican cravings

Our ancestors would be so disappointed if they tasted this garbage. Def won't be returning...Cabbage was boiled and unseasoned and Jerk chicken was weird.

DON'T EAT HERE!I should have listened to my first mind when I got out of my car and seen rice and peas vomit in the parking stall next to my car. Upon entering they only allow 2 people in for ordering. The man taking orders doesn't even greet you when you get to the counter. I thought he was busy because he stared at me and looked away. So I just stood there. Then after a few minutes I asked him are you waiting for me to order? He replied "Yes". I'm used to being greeted at establishments. I ordered a veggie plate which was cabbage mix of cabbage, carrots, corn and bell pepper. There was no seasoning. It was just bland. It also came with rice and peas and a hush puppy. The rice and peas was bland and full of pepper. Nothing else! The food here is TERRIBLE! If a veggie plate as bad I don't want to try anything else. All I can say about this place is YUCK!

The chicken itself was tasty but a bit too spicy for me. The plate was mostly rice and then some chicken. You're paying for 65% rice and 35% chicken. I think the food portions could be better distributed and I honestly don't know if I would return here.

I should have read the reviews. Ate here for the first time we ordered Jerk Chicken & Oxtail ordered in Large. I would not recommend this place first for portions Oxtail Large Plate (1 piece of oxtail cut to 4's); Jerk Chicken is not jerk Chicken.I should have requested a refund right away! Food was horrible it looked like plantains were from a week ago.Second, customer service is horrible!!!
