First time here & won't be back. Overpriced underwhelming elevated Asian food. Interior decor is cool, but my date said nothing has changed since 2000. They still play the same music from the 90s & the annoying old school people giving you soap & paper towel in the bathroom. Still selling the same useless bathroom stuff too. I'm surprised to see this & that this restaurant still has that service. I can get my own soap & paper towel without some random guy trying to sell me mouthwash cool water cologne & expecting a tip. In addition to the bathroom, the signs on the door is Yin & Yang, one for women & one for men. Good luck figuring out which one is which. Service: We had Nguyen and she was great, friendly & explained the food really well in detail.Food: $30 for 2 tiny skewers of Chilean bass. Flavors was nothing special and the pitch of the fish melting in your mouth is a lie. I've had Chilean bass many times, it's better at Costco. This was on the drier side and definitely was not melt in your mouth. $30 pork fried rice - it's just your typical fried rice. I thought this came with slices of fried pork belly, based on passed photos on here, but it does not. Small cubes of it & nothing special here except the ridiculous priced. $96 Peking Duck for 2- this was really good, but not worth $96. Plenty of duck & sides to feed at least 3 maybe 4 people. Skin is crispy and a meaty duck. Was told it wouldn't be to salty, the meat was salty. Good dish, I've had much better for less the price. If I'm craving this, I'll go to your local Chinese spot.

Waited 50 minutes after reservation and left because they still hadn't seated us and the hostess didn't seem to care even the slightest. I have no idea about the food. And I know it's Las Vegas but they still could act like they care even a little bit.

My wife and I came to Tao as part of our anniversary and we were very happy that we did. The restaurant was busy due to several conventions in Vegas at the time but the staff was incredible, attentive, organized, friendly, and knowledgable. The decor is all very cool and on theme giving a complete vibe, the DJ was a little louder than I think was necessary at dinner service but it's part of the vibe so I get it. The best part of the whole experience was the food, if I could give more stars than 5 for the sushi alone I would. Let the chef make the decision for you and you won't be disappointed, so great.

We did not go to the club on this visit, but we did enjoy a dinner at the restaurant! Some highlights of our meal were the rock shrimp lettuce tacos and crispy rice. Our cocktails were delicious and our server was great. He was quick, knowledgeable, and did a great job pacing our meal. We had a cool table on the second level right against the balcony. I liked being able to sit up here and watch the scene downstairs. The ambiance here is great and similar to other Tao locations-- fun lighting, lux decor, and a lively party atmosphere.

Came here with minimal expectations after having been to a few expensive restaurants in Vegas that left me hungry and wanting more. To my surprise and joy this place was entirely different. They offered a variety of options and i ended up getting lobster fried rice, sushi roll and the lamb as an appetizer and splitting it. It was more than enough food and so delicious. The service was r HR eat and they ensure not empty plates stayed on the table to long and that we were all well taken care of.

Great food. We got the spicy tuna on crispy rice, lobser mushroom wonton, some kind of steak that I can't remember the name, but it had a sauce on it. Not the black bean sauce, the other one.If you're getting normal sushi, it's fine. Nothing special.Same with their desserts.

Awesome experience! The food was excellent and Jack was a great server! The prices were good based on what we ordered. Recommend the Duck Fried Rice and the Lobster Pad Thai. Don't forget to leave room for the amazing gigantic fortune cookie desert!
