Overcooked hard as a rock taiyaki. Custard tasted like playdoh. Made me wait 20 mins for my taiyaki while they finished my drinks in 2 mins. So on top of me tipping $5, I get served hard disgusting taiyaki, melted drinks, and 20 min wait -.- This place really pissed me off and I would not recommend this place nor order from them again. Young ladies up front were nice with smile but owner need to train them a little bit more. Especially leaving the drinks to melt for 20 mins while taiyaki was cooking. Also after tipping $5 which was 25% of my order, I would think they would remake my drinks after leaving them to melt.

Wow, if you like stale tasteless Taiyaki with medicore soft serve, this is your place. Part of Kung Fu Tea (which is not clear), this new Taiyaki place had super high hopes. Almost every taiyaki place I've been makes the Taiyaki fresh, to create a warm gooey pocket with your filling and then a nice contrast to the soft serve. Here, after we ordered our Taiyaki on a busy Friday night for Kung Fu Tea, we watched one of the employees grab a taiyaki from a pile of pre-made taiyakis that was so stale when she picked it up, crumbs flaked off. She then wiped some custard on the inside of the Taiyaki from a large vat similar to the way one would wipe dog poo off their shoe, and then filled it with soft serve. A couple very small sprinkles of topping later, it was handed to you with the taiyaki still crumbling stale pieces off under your grip.Probably the worst taiyaki we've had. Would not come again. Literally could not even finish the taiyaki even after it had somewhat softened by melted ice cream. The soft serve (milk flavor here -- they currently only have milk or matcha) was okay, nothing great, nothing terrible. Ultimately, not worth the calories or the $6 each.

Great food. Fun atmosphere, even with social distancing 10/10 for a date night or time with the kids.

First time and wasn't really sure what to order. Got the milk ice cream, Nutella filling and pocky. Ice cream was delicious and definitely a cute presentation. We will definitely be back.

Overall not as bad as I expected. The price is very expensive for the little I was getting....over $10!!!! The ice cream is very good and so is the filling, the Taiyaki itself is not freshly made so it is cold and a little hard. Mine wasn't stale but just underwhelming. I'd eat it again since it is one or the only place in town.

You pay a lot for very little. I visited this place yesterday and ordered a matcha taiyaki with Nutella, pocky, and matcha powder. The first thing I noticed was the price, $6.44. I should have taken a photo of what I got for that amount of money and that doesn't include my tip. The next thing I was taken by was for that much, I got 1 pocky stick. They're skimping so much they can't even put the two that are in advertising or images. Next, for matcha flavored soft serve, the only thing matcha about it was the color (again, just the bare minimum which is color and nothing more). By the time I got down to the taiyaki, I also agree with a previous reviewer in its lack of freshness. I've had freshly made taiyaki and fresh is soft on the inside and feels like a freshly made waffle off the iron when you bite into it. This is not what I had. There was matcha powder and Nutella, but these things didn't make up for all that my experience lacked. IMO, I thought it was an experience surpassed by a cone from McDonald's.
