A really busy Taiwanese breakfast / lunch place tucked in an unassuming corner of a plaza adjacent to the busy Shanghai Plaza. We got seated with other people due to how busy it was even an hour before it closes. The waitstaff was really nice to us and tried their best to explain to us the menu in English. We ended up ordering: Pig ear with tofu skin: 4/5. Really savory and I like the pig ear over tofu. Pickled cucumber: 5/5. Tea egg: 4/5. A little bit too salty for my taste. Stew egg: 5/5. Just perfect. This was stew in meat sauce. Beef noodle soup with tendon: 5/5. Hearty soup with the noodle cooked to perfection. 15% gratuity is included in each check and if you pay by cash, you get a discount! Overall, really authentic Taiwanese place and would come back again!

Today I learned that Taiwan Deli once appeared on an episode of No Passport Required, where host Marcus Samuelsson visited Las Vegas to learn more about the city's long-standing Chinese community and their food traditions. Pretty neat! With that said, I went to Taiwan Deli's Chinatown location a couple years ago, and I stopped by this location on Rainbow Blvd for breakfast over the weekend. Here's a quick recap of my experience:FOOD: The oyster omelet I ordered was tasty and a completely new breakfast experience for me. I ended up ordering a side of rice to go with it after I realized the omelet is relatively thin. It was superb when eaten together, and I'll definitely get it again. Nom nom! I also got the hot soybean milk with peanuts at both locations; I believe it's made in house. I have no regrets for trying a novel menu item, but I won't be ordering this particular menu item again. It's extremely filling, and I'm moving on to new adventures. LolSERVICE: Excellent! The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. As a stickler for good customer service, this aspect of the dining experience alone will keep me coming back to the restaurant. AMBIANCE: It's a small, cozy space and the decor is a curious mash up of many different styles. This deli is more of a place to come for the phenomenal food/service and not the vibes and design aesthetic.

I recently went to Taiwan Deli on Rainbow and had one of the best culinary experiences I've had in Las Vegas. I saw this place on TikTok and had to check it out since it's so close to me. It's a small location and parking is a little limited, but the actual restaurant has a cozy theme that reminds me of brunch time in Taiwan. Our waitress was very friendly too!In terms of the food:The stir fried noodles reminded me of Korean japchae with both the taste and texture, which I personally am impartial too, but tasted great nonethelessThe hot and spicy wonton weren't like Din Tai Fung, but tasted homemade in the best way possibleThe beef rolls were absolutely STUFFED with meat and definitely worth tryingThe basil chicken is one of the best I've had at any Asian restaurant, and it was especially tasty since it was hot and fresh And finally, the hot and sour soup wasn't very sour, which I personally preferred, and the noodles were the perfect textureAll this food was plenty for 4 people, and overall a great dining experience. I'd like to come back to try the rice with ground pork next time, along with a few other classic Taiwanese dishes.

Amazing flavors!! Various options of dishes, soups and dumplings. We shared three dishes and had a tea and milk tea. The beef roll was braised and seasoned to perfection. Then we tried rice noodles with egg and beef. Dumplings are steamed and decent size stuffed with pork and cabbage. Service was great and staff is friendly. Will be back to try more dishes.

Everything is amazing! We loved the stinky tofu (they were generous and we had leftovers), squid rice noodle soup, oyster omelettes, fan tuan and pot stickers which you can buy in bulk! We saw many customers who are returning ones and the boss who rushed in with large boxes of fresh cucumbers for their house cucumber salad! Of course get a side order of you tiaos/fried donut sticks too!

First time here. Quick stop in to the restaurant to pick up a wonton soup to go order. Very authentic feeling place. They packaged the wontons separately from the container of broth, which is very thoughtful to prevent soggy, mushy wontons. Flavors are good, but just a touch of visible oil in the broth. The wontons appeared to be handmade and housemade. Overall good quality and authentic flavors. Service from the gal was friendly and efficient. I read the full menu white waiting and there are a lot of items that we would be interested in trying the next time.

Pretty legit Taiwanese breakfast. Really enjoyed the salty soy milk, chives turnover and pot stickers. We shared a table with a woman dining alone. Would definitely come back again next time we're in Vegas.

Worst experience in the world! Talk about first time impression?! Long story short, we live in Vegas locals. People recommended this deli to try. We walk in a Chinese lady stands before us and no greetings. We saw drinks in the fridge decide to check it out and not knowing you had to order and they would bring it. The lady catches an attitude and tells us to go study the menu. Continues to make more gesture with face and hands, very pushy at this point! I get up and trying to control my anger and said we are out of here! Who treats customers that way ! No common sense of explaining how things work. And on top of that, there's a sign that says they charged 15% for dining in?!!! That's against the law! Terrible place would not recommend it to anyone!
