Tacos El Tapatio

I just love this family owned establishment. I always order the same exact meal but changed it up recently with the 3 chicken taco meal and added the grilled jalapeños. I placed my order over the phone and when I arrived (5 minutes) it was ready. The salsa is great. My chicken is always juicy and tender. Just the right amount of cilantro and onions. They are located in the rear of the Arco Am/Pm station. There is seating and a tv. This is my go to spot for my taco fix.

We come here at least once a week! Family run business that always delivers! Food always tastes great and service is fast & friendly. Tried almost everything on the menu! Will always come back and support this small business!

My bf and I stumbled upon this place on accident. Soo glad we did! In 9 days we ate there 4 times. We absolutely love it! A bit inconsistent at times. My sopes are loaded one day and lacking the next. Same with my bf's meals. But it's such a sweet little family running the place and we prefer to support the little mom/pops whenever possible. Very authentic nonetheless. We'd buy their green salsa by the gallon if we could.My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because we have no idea what we are being charged. There's no prices on the wall anymore so our total for the same things we always get varies every time. Anywhere from $22-$28. I've been charged $2 for a SMALL side of frijoles and $4 for the same thing. Other than the inconsistency of pricing and portions we will continue to support the business.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in my neighborhood. The food is always consistent and the service is warm and friendly. My favorites are the lengua tacos and horchata.

I was having a hard time finding a good burrito spot in this area and searched yelp. First few times I couldn't find it because the directions kept taking me to a gas station. It's actually a separate little spot INSIDE the gas station. This is my favorite burrito spot in NLV. Small & family run. Friendly people, and the burritos have always been on point. Being from California, it's hard to find a good burrito locally and I'm so happy I finally found this place.

I've had awesome street tacos in Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Santa Barbara & LA.... amongst other places...these are the Real Deal!! Only wish I'd found it much earlier! Had al Pastor & carne asada- grilled onions & peppers- very filling with lots of meat in each.

BEST Menudo I've ever had!! Almost missed this mom and pop place bc it's literally inside the Arco gas station. They have an extensive menu and even have seafood (ceviche is new I think), the prices are compared to Roberto's, so not expensive. Go and try it!!

This place is amazing!! Authentic Mexican food with flavor and is like a diamond in the rough since it's in like a AM/PM but OMG they can't compare to anything on this side of town if you are looking for Mexican authentic food. They got everything pretty much but they street tacos are my weakness omg you must try. Like I said DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH. Weekends they are outside on a trailer street tacos truck style but during the week must go into the AMPM but is worth the drag of doing so, since it's so BOMB!!

After driving by countless of times on a daily basis...finally decided to stop in on a Friday night.Their business is literally located inside the gas station towards the back. Not too large, too small...I've been in food places a lot smaller. The family is seriously very nice and they give me a homely vibe, especially the mom.On tuesday/friday/saturday/sunday they pop a tent outside of the gas station so you don't have to go into the store and you can kinda get that street eating feeling. The husband or even their kids I believe will work the tent. The mom said sometimes the dad will add an extra day during the week or may not even come out depending on his mood. Lol. We've only had their tacos (street). Street tacos are smaller as they're meant to be one-hand friendly for eating on the streets. I've had the Carne asada and the pollo. Their flavoring is pretty light, in my opinion. But at $1.50 for a taco? Uhhh, tastes good enough to me! Husband has had the tripas and lengua. Not for me, but he too agreed he appreciated the light seasoning. When I went into their actual restaurant I was able to stare at the big menu at the wall. They pretty much offer your standard Mexican menu at a fair price. Kinda thought they are priced along the lower end. It was very clean. If you happen to go in and it seems cluttered in there, it's because those are the equipment they use when they pop their tent outside of the gas station. They had a salsa bar with the limes, carrot and jalapeño mix, and sliced radish. Be aware as they only had the red salsa out. I know they have the green one so if you don't see it, just ask.This will definitely be our new taco spot since it's literally a 2minute drive. I am a hefer for street tacos. cheap and right around the corner, I'm in! However, nothing to drive across town for. 4 stars for value and for the very friendly homely customer service we have received. Certainly worth a try if you live nearby or! I'd skip bringing the stroller in, but if you must it'll fit in there. Us parents can make it work.

Very authentic Mexican food! They serve home made rice & beans! No pre packaged rice or canned beans, and also home made salsas and veggies in vinegar! Also prices are very reasonable... Service is on point as well! Little hidden gem! Ambiance is chill! Highly recommended!
