Was craving sushi but wasn't sure where to go as I'm really particular about the quality of fish and a lot of places just don't do it for me. Luckily, we decided on Sushi Loca based off a friend's recommendation. I can't emphasize this enough, the freshness of the fish was on par or even better than some places I've visited. Prices were great for the quality and our server (I think her name was Roomi?) was so sweet and attentive. As someone who was staying at the strip, location wasn't too difficult to get to and I'd probably recommend this place over any of the more touristy and overpriced sushi restaurants on the strip.

I wanted to love it - it's been here for a while. But alas.The good: elegant space, nicely-decorated for the holidays. Great location in DTS.The bad: Food quality: sushi wasn't good. Rice was very sticky and thick, fish tasted fishy. Also, the karaage was rubbery and not crispy. Service: seemed a bit dismissive, even though no one was really in there Price point: wayyyyyy overpriced, especially considering quality. This is some of the highest price points for sushi I've seen off-strip, and it's not worth it.

Really good variety of options and loved the casual yet quiet atmosphere perfect for an intimate setting. The servers were very fun, interactive and helpful, they really helped with the experience. The sushi... good but lacking. Sashimi was a little fishy tasting but larger pieces made the expensive dish worth it. Spicy tuna roll & Alaska roll were amazing, both were super flavor able and the perfect size. Definitely on the higher side for sushi in the area.

Stopped by on a whim while I was downtown and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurants ambiance is lovely, modern, and perfect for a first date. Our server Roomie(?) was so personable and helpful she recommended the bluefin tuna special, California roll, and giant clam. Everything was amazing and the California roll was one of the best I ever had. Only downside is that is that it did take awhile for us to receive our rolls, but overall it's not a big deterrent. Looking forward to my next time back.

I used to be frustrated with the lack of good Asian food in this area, but then I found Loca. I honestly had low expectations, especially with the Yelp rating, but they completely surprised me. It's not AYCE, but the quality is great. Ask the chefs for the fresh catch of the day and get the sashimi platter--it exceeded my expectations. The oysters were amazing, and the ambiance was great. Service was attentive, and my server was super knowledgeable and friendly. Wish I had discovered this place sooner

Sushi Loca is seriously one of my favorite sushi spots. The food is incredible -- super fresh, tons of options, and everything we tried was so good. You can go classic with sashimi or simple rolls, but they also have a bunch of fun, creative rolls if you're in the mood for something extra.The service is also just the best. Everyone is so friendly and on top of it, and they make you feel really welcome. It's the kind of place where you can tell they actually care that you're having a good time.Whether you're grabbing lunch with friends or doing a casual date night, it's such a fun vibe. Definitely one of those places you'll want to come back to again and again.

Went to this wonderful sushi bar last night for my birthday. Julie the owner immediately sat us and upon learning it was my birthday sent over a bottle of premium sake. Wow, fantastic bottle.My wife and I left ourself in the hands of chefs Jay and Audi and we were both wowed. We feasted on fresh Toro, Uni, blue fin, Yellowtail and much more it was amazing. Every bite was wonderful, especially the Uni!Wonderful friendly service and some of the best sushi I've had. Thanks Julie, we'll be back soon.

We had to stop by a couple of stores in the area and decided to try this place for dinner. We were very impressed. It looked and smelled great as we walked in. The service was fantastic. Rumi was our primary server but all of them assisted. The food arrived quickly and it was excellent! Very fresh and delicious. We have found our go to sushi place.
