This charming small restaurant for breakfast and lunch is an absolute must!!!! Steak and eggs at only $14.95! Perfect decor and service along with an amazing staff makes this a great place for aviation fans of all ages! Kori was so welcoming and made our 1st time there a pleasure! Thanks for having us and we will be bringing the rest of our breakfast club back to enjoy the food!

Stopped by this cafe around 8am on a Saturday. Even though it was pretty busy, we were seated right away, which was great! By the time we left, I did notice a bit of a wait forming, so coming early might be your best bet.The place gives off classic diner vibes--cozy and familiar. I ordered a Denver omelette, which was decent, and the pancakes were good, though nothing particularly memorable. (Apologies for the half-eaten food pics--I couldn't wait to dig in!)This was my second visit, and while the service was fine this time, it didn't quite match the attentiveness we experienced during our first trip. That said, they offer complimentary cookies or brownies, which is such a nice touch! I don't know of any other cafes that do this, and it's a small thing that makes a big impression.Pricing was reasonable, about what you'd expect for a typical cafe. Overall, it's a solid spot for breakfast, and I'd come back again!

A hidden gem and fun for kids who love airplanes! We just tried this cafe for breakfast and lunch. My toddler loved all the airplanes hanging from the ceiling. Unfortunately, it was too windy to enjoy the observation deck, but I definitely want to go back on a nicer day. The food was good. A mix between homemade and diner food. The pricing was affordable, and the service was great. We will definitely come back!

If you are a big fan of airplanes and home made breakfasts ... Then you should definitely consider visiting Sunshine & Tailwinds.This place is so beautiful, with very kind people who really care about you.Everything was great, including the food and service.It is absolutely a hidden gem in the airport... I love it!!

Love this place. Going back to the 50's and plenty of model airplanes enjoy. Great service! Great vibe! Super clean. No one is in a hurry to push you out of your seat for the next customer. They listened and made me a tuna sandwich with some coleslaw and ice tea just the way I like it! Sorry no food photos, I was just too hungry ..I don't eat meat anymore but from the look of my lunch mates they were loving the food too!

Best green chile cheeseburger in town! Also the best chicken fried steak in town! The owners and employees are awesome and the clientele are friendly and cool. This place is excellent!

We got there at a really busy moment. The staff warned us the food might take 40-60 minutes to be made. We agreed and took a table. The staff was busy but they were super nice and accommodating, even passing cookies as we waited.The food was a great value for the price. Large portions and pretty tasty. We actually only waited 20-30minutres for the food too which was a nice surprise. The view of the airport was also unique. It is located on the 2nd floor of the North Las Vegas airport... there are 2 sets of stairs on either end.

You know was hyped to try this spot and the ambiance was so cool the kids loved it however food was honestly hard to stomach and maybe it's just not my style but it seemed they put a odd twist on the dishes that didn't seem to sit well.

We had breakfast here since we hadn't eaten here in awhile. Food was good, I had the green chilli burger with pepper jack (not enough kick) and my wife had a traditional eggs and sausage (no links here just patties). The potatoe salad was my highlight. The service was somewhat lacking this visit. Too in frequent coffee and waters refill, food all came out at separate times, and definately not as attentive as past visits. Overall, it was okay.

What a hidden thing. Jim thought I would try this restaurant and was shocked when I pulled up to the North Las Vegas airport because I thought I was completely lost and did not understand the restaurant was inside.Upon entering the airport, you must either take the stairs or the elevator upstairs to get to the restaurant, as I observed no signage.The service was incredible. Every time a staff member passed by our table, we were greeted and asked if there was anything that they could help us with, anything they could get us with, and even our food and beverages.The food was phenomenal. It's just basic, delicious, home-cooked food, yet they did it elegantly and gracefully.Unfortunately, the day we ate here, it was raining outside, so you could not see out of the beautiful open windows as much as it would've been on a bright, beautiful, sunny Las Vegas day.I would highly recommend anyone coming to this beautiful gym because you get a lot of food for a price, and it's all homemade food
