Sunny Hawaiian BBQ

Big portions, fresh food, a lot of different options on the menu. We're serious about our Hawaiian food and tried a lot of overpriced places around vegas. By far Sunny is the best and reasonably priced which is so refreshing in this economy.

Very close to home and apparently my husbands go to spot. The food was pretty good, you can tell the burger is fresh and not frozen, the Musubi was good have not had any for a long time. We both got the double beef plate and wished we would have done half katsu or chicken. The beef was good and very generous on the portion. My only complaint was the size of the drink that came with the double burger combo. The drink was maybe 8 oz if that. I've never been given such a small drink with a food combo. Probably smaller than a can of coke. Comparison would be a drink given with a kids combo. Other than that food was good and service was quick. If the drink was a better size I'd have done 5

Food is some of the best deals for Hawaiian food. I e yet to try other things of the menu but the chicken katsu is always a good go to. Sometime I like the to get gravy or curry on the side or dipping or pouring all over. Service was great customer service was fantastic. Ambiance was nice and cozy nothing to brag about. A place to just eat and joy peace

I actually tried the pineapple crab ragoon and i actually like them. I thought the pineapple was inside but its actually the dipping sauce. Its really good and you have to try it. I don't like to have pineapple in my food either, so i took a gutsy try and ended up liking it.

I have been on a Beef Teriyaki binge lately as I have tried Beef Teriyaki from various restaurants. I went to Sunny's Hawaiian BBQ one night after searching for a nearby Teriyaki restaurant. The Beef Teriyaki plate came with two scoops of rice, macaroni salad, and cabbage. The Beef Teriyaki was delicious, and I enjoyed my plate except for the cabbage that I initially thought was lettuce underneath the meat. I was dissatisfied with the small portion of meat I received, and it appeared that they placed a large amount of cabbage underneath the Teriyaki to make it look like I received more meat than I did. On my second visit, I ordered a Beef Teriyaki plate and informed the cashier that I did not want any lettuce because I had received more lettuce than meat the last time. The cashier told me it was cabbage and said I could get extra rice or macaroni salad instead of cabbage, and I chose extra rice. The second time was the charm, and I received a larger portion of meat and extra rice, which upped my rating from four stars to five! Their bathroom was spotless, and the meal cost around 15.00. I highly recommend Sunny's Hawaiian BBQ. I would suggest substituting cabbage for rice or macaroni because the cabbage looked more like lettuce than cabbage.

Fantastic Hawaii food very affordable and delicious ! Quick service we loved it it's a no frills place eat out of styrofoam containers.. but that way don't have to ask for a to go container!! The food is the highlight with many choices loved it !!!Give it a go you won't be disappointed and either will your wallet !!

Ordered take out and I ordered chicken curry katsu bowl. iIt was ready nicely packaged, but I knocked off one star only because the order asked me if I wanted to add an appetizer and I ordered chicken lumpia. And when I came to pick up the order I noticed that I didn't have the chicken lumpia with the order. I asked the lady what happened to the chicken lumpia and she didn't notice that. It's upsetting that I had to speak up, if I had not and left I would have feel like I was ripped off. At least the lady apologetic but I had to wait longer for the chicken lumpia.. When you order ahead of time, all of the items should be ready.I will try to come back again because the food is so delicious. Hopefully I'll get better service next time.

Decided to pick up lunch from this restaurant after my platelets and plasma donation just around the corner. Prices are reasonable for th e amount of food you get, they have a large menu selection, and good size dining area. I ordered the BBQ mix that came from chicken, beef and short ribs along with 2 good size scoops of white rice and macaroni salad. Everything was great and the beef and chicken were particularly tender. Staff is also friendly and fast.

Omg. I finally found this place again - been searching for awhile but couldn't remember its name. Their gaugee is sooo ono!!If u from the 808 - they make it better than Chun Wah because they are some fat buggahs! Ordered Manapua also, but it's bao not the red charsiu filling that you may be used to seeing. They have other foods that you might like but I was just there for the gaugee. Very satisfied!

The food here is so fresh and taste so good I come here at least once every other week the portions are good they do not skimp you on food prices are great I love it here at Sunny's Hawaiian BBQ ! And the staff here are friendly they give you time to decide what you want and they explain what a dish is if you're not familiar , and the establishment is very clean bathrooms and their kitchen !
