Sumo Sushi

Our server Bryan was fast, efficient and friendly, Great atmosphere, newly renovated, the arts on the walls and a tree in the middle are a nice touch! Food is excellent, fresh, vibrant, and flavorful! Great job team sumo sushi!

I recently dined at Sumo Sushi located at 8795 W Warm Springs Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89148, and had an outstanding experience! Our server, Daniel, was amazing and made our evening even more enjoyable with his attentive and friendly service.We started with some delicious soju in lychee, strawberry, and mango flavors, which were refreshing and perfectly balanced. For appetizers, we tried the stuffed appetizer, hanger steak, Yum Yum shrimp, softshell crab, and crispy Toro rice - each dish was absolutely delightful and flavorful.The sushi selection was exceptional. We loved the lemon salmon roll, golden lobster, and mango tango. The specials were also a highlight, especially the Kobe beef carpaccio, Omakase platter, miso saboyaki, and pan roast udon.The nigiri options were exquisite, with the Kobe beef, truffle yellowtail, oyster, salmon belly, yuzu squid, and uni squid standing out as some of the best we've ever had. To end our meal on a sweet note, we enjoyed the Korean Affogato, which was the perfect dessert.The food was so good that we had a great night's sleep afterward. Plus, the all-you-can-eat option made it even more enjoyable.

I like Sakana, so I wanted to try this spot out. Unfortunately, expectations fell short and I wasn't very impressed. The ambiance is pretty nice and we enjoyed how everything was decorated. We were seated upon entering and food came out quick. Servers paid very good attention to our cues and knowing when we were ready to order again.We tried most of the nigiri and a few rolls. The fish to rice ratio in the nigiri is 1:1. The nigiri and rolls had a lot of rice. The rolls were okay, not super flavorful and nothing was memorable. We normally order multiple rounds of nigiri, but didn't feel it was as good so we just got 1-2 rounds. The nigiri came out warm. Fish wasn't the worst, but it didn't taste as fresh and wasn't very well flavored. It kind of all tasted the same. Overall, a pretty average sushi spot. I would go elsewhere for better quality ayce sushi in Vegas.

Sumo sushi is so yummy! My go to sushi spot in the southwest was Mr. Shota for years and years, but ever since they got rid of their late night happy hour, I've expanded my search and I've been converted to Sumo. Sumo sushi has it all! They have a great selection of nigiri, rolls, apps, and they have a good late night AYCE deal: $24.95 9pm-closing. All of the fish we tried was very fresh and really delicious. They have a good balance between the standard rolls and some unique ones. The interior of this restaurant is super cute! There's a lot to look at and makes for great photos. There are a lot of little booths and tables. I think they could accommodate a larger group but you'd likely be split up. Lastly, the service was awesome! Everyone checked up on us frequently and cleared our plates efficiently. I would eat here again

We have passed this place numerous times. We heard about the new management that took over that also owns another well known sushi spot and we wanted to try. As soon as we walked in, I enjoyed the restaurant deco and loved the booth we were seated at- it felt a little more intimate (if you know what I mean lol)We stopped by for lunch. We arrived a few minutes after they opened, so luckily no wait and we were seated as soon as we walked in. (We heard it gets pretty packed and wait times can be up to hour) Our server Brian was awesome! Since it was our first time he helped and explained the menu. He was quick, very attentive and engaged with us through out our visit. We ordered 2 half rolls-Bruno Mars & No name roll. We usually dont eat much rolls but we really go in on the nigiri. Super White Tuna, Seared white tuna, Garlic Tuna, Seared Garlic Tuna, Crispy Toro Rice, Agadashi tofu (not our fave here but still good- usually its made with soft silken tofu and they used firm), mini spicy tonkatsu udon, Pan Rośe Udon. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Oh, and we love our fresh wasabi and we both were glad they had it. (Some sushi spots dont serve it) thats a bonus! Overall, this place is a nice addition to our list of sushi spots we enjoy. Cant wait to go back and try the extended menu.

From the moment you walk in it feels like your in a Little city out of vegas I love the decor at this location has to be my favorite out of all the sakana locations , the service was fast and the servers were nice and made suggestions I noticed a few new items on the menu are new and the place always is clean ... the food is bomb !!! I love how many options there are at this location im so happy that we are new by so this can be our sushi go to

Awesome experience at Sumo Sushi. The menu is huge there is something for everyone. The service was very good and we ordered so much food they worked hard. It is a cool atmosphere and the vibe is wonderful. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. They just changed ownership and this was my first time here so I'm assuming there has been changes. So many good things, check out my photos and you'll see. We enjoyed it all.

If you're into all-you-can-eat sushi, you should check this place out. It's owned by the same people behind Sushi Neko, Smile Shota, and Nabe, so you already know the fish quality is top-notch. But honestly, I think this one might be my favorite of the bunch. First off, the food is amazing. The fish is super fresh, and the variety is great. And the lunch price? Such a good deal. It's so fair for what you get. I left happy and without feeling like I broke the bank. The vibe inside is so cute too. It's got this retro Japan look that makes it feel fun and cozy at the same time. It's like stepping into a little sushi time machine.But the real MVP of our visit was our server, Bryan. The guy was awesome. My two nephews were being their usual selves, but Bryan was so patient and cool about it. He checked on us regularly, even when it got super busy later in the lunch rush.Honestly, Sumo Sushi is a winner. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. If you're looking for a fun, delicious sushi spot, this is it. I'll definitely be back--and fingers crossed Bryan's working when I go again!

Missy was incredibly kind and helpful. The bluefin tuna, salmon belly and hanger steak were delicious. definitely coming back again and getting even more next time.

Good ambiance since in the new management. So clean and very good quality of food. and the waiter name bryan is so helpful and very nice guy.
